Chapitre 6 - Jésus jugeait selon qu'Il entendait
Jean 5:30, Jésus dit :
Je ne peux rien faire, moi, de moi-même ; je juge selon ce que j'entends, et mon jugement est juste ; car je ne cherche pas ma volonté, mais la volonté du Père qui m'a envoyé.
Au cours des années 1970, Dieu m'a élevé apôtre et prophet. C'est alors qu'Il a commencé à juger par ma bouche. J'étais très inquiet, car venant d'une famille Chrétienne, ma mère, tout comme la plupart des Baptistes, connaissait assurément le verset de Matthieu 7:1 qui dit : ''Ne juges pas, afin de ne pas être jugé.''
Je savais qu'en jugeant je pouvais m'attirer des ennuis. C'est pour cela que je ne voulais pas prendre part au jugement du peuple de Dieu ni de quiconque d'ailleurs.
Puis j'ai vu que Jésus a dit : ''Selon que j'entends, je juge.'' Depuis j'ai appris à marcher dans l'Esprit et à obéir à Dieu. Des gens viennent à moi avec toutes sortes de paroles rebelles, faisant toutes sortes de choses, et j'ignore ce qu'ils font ou disent. Puis soudainement, la mauvaise personne vient avec un mauvais esprit, et la puissance de Dieu jaillit de mon cœur, et comme j'entends, je juge et je parle.
Au début des années 1970, un prédicateur et sa femme, remplis de l'Esprit, m'ont un jour demandé d'enseigner la Bible. C'est ce que je fis. Dans cette église, il y avait un homme, un ancien étudiant à l'Université de Yale, qui pensait être envoyé de Dieu. Mais ce n'était qu'un de ces ministres charismatiques, perdu en Amérique, allant un peu partout et essayant de trouver un lieu de résidence.
Ce pasteur et sa femme voulaient que j'enseigne dans leur église, mais uniquement selon leur voie. Ils ne souhaitaient pas que j'enseigne la plénitude du conseil de Dieu.
Un jour, alors que j'étais avec eux, la puissance de Dieu s'est manifestée brusquement en moi, et comme une épée à double tranchants, a tancé par ma bouche ce pasteur avec une dizaine de mots tout au plus. Cet homme de Yale, m'a dit : ''Vous avez beaucoup d'amertume en vous. Vous devez pardonner les gens religieux.'' Ce jour-là, j'ai pensé en moi-même : ''Et bien, si tel est le cas, qu'il en soit ainsi.''
Mais je savais au plus profond de moi-même d'où venaient les paroles que j'avais prononcées. Alors Dieu a commencé à m'administrer : ''Ce n'est pas toi. C'est Moi en toi. C'est Moi en toi, qui juge les esprits de ces gens.''
Depuis, et durant toute leur vie d'ailleurs, ce pasteur et sa femme ont connu de nombreux ennuis tout simplement parce qu'ils ont essayé d'arrêter la voie de Dieu. Les gens qui pensent pouvoir un instant résister la voie du Saint Esprit ne sont pas très intelligents.
Le Jugement de Jésus était Juste
Regardez encore Jean 5:30 : … Je juge selon ce que j'entends, et mon jugement est juste ; car je ne cherche pas ma volonté, mais la volonté du Père qui m'a envoyé.
Jésus est notre exemple. C'est ici l'objet de notre discussion – comment Il s'est conduit sur la terre, comment Il a communiqué avec le Père, comment Il était toujours mené par l'Esprit, comment il a toujours accompli les oeuvres qu'il voyait Son Père faire, comment Il a toujours su que le Père l'entendait et comment Il a fait uniquement les choses qui plaisent au Père. Le jugement fait partie des actions de Jésus.
Si vous marchez par l'Esprit de Dieu, le jugement se manifestera par votre bouche. Toutefois, si vous marchez dans la chair, votre jugement sera injuste parce qu'il est de la chair. Mais si vous marchez par l'Esprit, alors tout comme Jésus a dit ici :
…Mon jugement est juste ; car je ne cherche pas ma volonté, mais la volonté du Père qui m'a envoyé (v. 30).
Si vous cherchez la volonté du Père, votre jugement sera juste, car si vous cherchez Sa volonté, alors vous jugerez seulement selon ce que vous entendrez.
Le Jugement de Dieu commence par Sa Maison
J'ai commencé à voir que le jugement viendra de la bouche de quiconque obéit à Dieu, qu'il soit dans le ministère d'un apôtre, prophète, pasteur, enseignant ou évangéliste. Vous pouvez voir, dans le livre des Actes, au chapitre cinq, comment l'apôtre Pierre a jugé Ananias et Sapphira. Ils sont morts tous les deux.
Vous pouvez voir dans les Actes, au chapitre 13, comment Elymas, un faux prophète, essayait de détourner de la foi le proconsul de Paphos. Paul a dit : ''Et maintenant voici la main du Seigneur est sur toi, et tu seras aveugle, sans voir le soleil pour un temps'' et l'homme a été aveugle pour un temps. Alors le proconsul, voyant ce qui était arrivé, crut, étant saisi par la doctrine du Seigneur.
Vous pouvez voir au chapitre 12, des Actes, comment le Roi Hérode a tué Jacques et ensuite comment il a essayé d'en faire de même avec Pierre. Un jour, alors que Hérode faisait un discours, un ange du Seigneur l'a frappé et il est mort.
Le Jugement est pour la Correction
Le jugement est dans la bouche du peuple de Dieu. Le jugement n'est pas en condamnation mais en correction. Toutefois, la correction peut aller jusqu'à la mort des gens lorsque ceux-ci refusent de l'accepter.
Ce n'est pas ce qui est enseigné en Amérique. On entend des prédicateurs qui essayent de nous rendre coupable, en enseignant : ''Repentez-vous sinon vous irez en enfer.'' Cela n'a rien à voir avec mes paroles. Je vous parle de l'obéissance à l'Esprit de Dieu.
Laissez-moi vous dire ceci concernant l'Esprit de Dieu. 1 Pierre 4:17 dit que le jugement commence par la maison de Dieu. Le jugement est instantané et il a pour but de causer la crainte de Dieu dans le coeur des hommes.
Le jugement de Dieu a commencé aux USA dans la maison de Dieu. En 1986, Dieu m'a dit : ''L'ignorance avec laquelle les prédicateurs américains prélèvent les offrandes, je l'ai ignoré. Mais à présent je leur commande, partout, de se repentir.'' Si vous effectuez quelques vérifications, vous verrez que des ministères ont commencé à connaître des problèmes financiers depuis Janvier 1986. Et vous en verrez bien d'autres, si ils ne se repentent pas de leurs voies.
JESUS DID THE FATHER’S WILL, Chapter 6, Jesus Judged as He Heard
In John 5:30, Jesus says:
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
I remember during the 1970's, when God began to raise me up as an apostle and prophet, God started judging out of my mouth. I was concerned, because I grew up in a Christian home, and my mother certainly knew Matthew 7:1: "Judge not, that ye be not judged," as most Baptists do.
I knew that I could get in trouble judging, and I did not want any part of it. I did not want to be involved in judging God's people or anyone else.
Then I saw that Jesus said: "As I hear, I judge." Since I have learned to walk in the Spirit and obey God, people come up to me making all kinds of rebellious statements, doing all kinds of rebellious acts, and I ignore what they are saying and doing. Then, all of a sudden, the wrong person will come in the wrong spirit, and the power of God in me will leap up out of my heart, and as I hear, I judge, and I speak.
One time in the early 1970's, a Spirit-filled preacher and his wife asked me to teach the Bible in their church. So I did. A man from Yale University was also at that church. That man thought God had sent him, but he was simply a charismatic minister loose in America, running around trying to find a place to reside.
The pastor and his wife wanted me to teach in their church, but they did not want me to teach the full counsel of God. They wanted me to teach their way.
I was with them one day, and suddenly the power of God came up out of my mouth, sharper than a two-edged sword, and rebuked that pastor with about ten words. The man from Yale said, "You have lots of bitterness in you. You need to forgive religious people." I thought, "Well, if I do, I do."
ButI knew that what I had said came from deep inside me, and God began to minister to me: "It is not you. That is Me in you. That is Me in you, judging the spirits in those people."
In any event, that pastor and his wife have been in trouble most if not all of their lives since then, because they tried to stop the move of God. People who think for one minute that they can resist the move of the Holy Spirit are not very intelligent.
Jesus' Judgment Was Just
Look again at John 5:30: …As I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Jesus is your example. That is what we are talking about--how He conducted Himself on this earth, how He communed with the Father, how He was always led by the Spirit, how He always did what He saw the Father doing, how He always knew the Father heard Him, and how He only did the things that pleased the Father. Judgment was part of what Jesus did.
If you are walking in the Spirit, judgment will come out of your mouth. If you are walking in the flesh, however, your judgment will be in the flesh, and it will not be just. If you are walking in the Spirit, then as Jesus said here:
…My judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me (v. 30).
If you are seeking the will of the Father, your judgment will be just, because if you are seeking His will, you will only judge as you hear.
Judgment Begins at the House of God
I have come to see that anyone who obeys God, if he is in the apostle's, prophet's, pastor's, teacher's, or evangelist's ministry, will have judgment coming out of his mouth. You can see in the fifth chapter of the book of Acts that the apostle Peter judged Ananias and Sapphira, and they died.
You can see in Acts chapter 13 that Elymas, the false prophet, was trying to turn the deputy of Paphos from the faith. Paul said, "The hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season," and the man was blinded for a season. When the deputy saw what was done, he believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
You can see in the 12th chapter of Acts that King Herod had James killed and proceeded after Peter. One day Herod was speaking, and an angel of the Lord smote him, and he died.
Judgment Is for Correction
Judgment is in the mouth of God's people. Judgment is not for condemnation; it is for correction. However, correction can be to the point of death, if people are not willing to accept it.
We have not heard that taught in America. We have heard preachers trying to make us guilty, preaching, "Repent, or go to hell." That is not what I am talking about. I am talking about obeying the Spirit of God.
Let me tell you something about de Spirit of God. I Peter 4:17 says that judgement begins at the house of God. Judgement is instant, and it occurs so that people might fear God.
Judgement has begun in the house of God in the United States of America. In 1986, God said to me, ''The way that American preachers take up offerings, this ignorance I have winked at. But now I command them to repent everywhere.'' If you will check, you will find that the financial problems that ministries experienced began in January 1986. And you will see more ministries with problems unless they repent.
