Dumnezeu Oferă Puterea, Capitolul 4, Partea 1
Mergeți acum la Ioan 19:10 și vă voi arăta un alt exemplu de putere a lui Isus și de lipsă a importanței omului.
În Ioan 19:10, Pilat i-a spus lui Isus:
... Nu vorbeşti cu mine? Nu ştii că am autoritate să Te eliberez şi am autoritate să Te răstignesc?
Isus nu i-a răspuns. Mă minunez la acest lucru. Îi mulțumesc lui Dumnezeu pentru tăria din acel om. El nu i-a răspuns guvernatorului Roman.
Dumnezeu mi-a demonstrat că nu trebuie să răspund niciunui om, decât dacă Dumnezeu îmi spune să o fac. Este o binecuvântare să știu asta, fiindcă autoritățile din Statele Unite cred că pot să te oblige să vorbești. Nimeni nu te poate face să vorbești dacă Dumnezeu nu vrea să vorbești.
Uitați-vă la versetul 10 din nou:
... Nu vorbeşti cu mine? Nu ştii că am autoritate să Te eliberez şi am autoritate să Te răstignesc?
Apoi, Isus a vorbit. Isus a vorbit doar atunci când l-a auzit pe Tatăl său spunându-I asta. Și în versetul 11, El a spus:
N-ai avea nicio autoritate asupra Mea dacă nu ţi-ar fi fost dată de sus. De aceea cel ce Mă dă pe mâna ta are un mai mare păcat.
Isus i-a spus lui Pilat, guvernatorului Roman din Iudeea, "Nu poți să ai nicio putere asupra mea decât dacă ți-e dată de sus."
Avem același Duh în noi pe care Isus l-a avut în El. Am văzut în cartea noastră anterioară, "Isus a Făcut Voia Tatălui", că noi trebuie să umblăm așa cum a umblat Isus. Am văzut cum a umblat el pe pământ și cum a fost dus El către cruce.
Am văzut că El a făcut numai ce l-a văzut pe Tată că face și a spus numai ce l-a auzit pe Tată că spune. A spus că Tatăl l-a auzit mereu pe El când îi vorbea. Acest lucru este minunat. Putem și noi să avem aceeași încredere -- aceeași credință.
Pilat a fost guvernator Roman și Isus i-a spus lui:
N-ai avea nicio autoritate asupra Mea dacă nu ţi-ar fi fost dată de sus. De aceea cel ce Mă dă pe mâna ta are un mai mare păcat. (v.11).
Dumnezeu ne Garantează Autoritatea
Recent, am auzit un congresist al Statelor Unite spunând la televiziune, "Dumnezeu nu îți dă oportunitatea de a deduce banii pe care i-i dai unei organizații scutite de impozit – Congresul o face." Acest congresist va învăța cine îi oferă lui autoritate, pentru că în momentul în care Dumnezeu decide că noi nu ar trebui să mai primim acea deducere, El o va schimba, fie că vrei tu, ca congresist, să O facă sau nu.
Am văzut mândria în acel om și am văzut orbirea acestui popor. Un lider religios cunoscut la nivel național a stat lângă el și nu i-a spus că se înșală.
Îmi doresc să fi fost eu cel așezat acolo. Aș fi spus, "Așteptați un minut, domnule congresist. Omul Isus numai ce a auzit ce ai spus și El are un cuvânt să îți spună. În orice moment în care tu nu-L apreciezi, El te poate scoate și poate pune pe altcineva în locul tău care Îl va onora.”
Ei au Tencuit cu Mortar Ipsos
Unul dintre cei mai importanți lideri religioși din Statele Unite a stat acolo în tăcere, fiindcă nu a vrut să îl ofenseze pe congresist sau fiindcă nu a avut cuvântul lui Dumnezeu lângă el. Proorocii din această țară trebuie să audă cuvintele pe care Dumnezeu I le-a spus lui Ezechiel în Ezechiel 22:2:
Fiul omului, vrei să judeci? Vrei să judeci cetatea cea setoasă de sânge? Atunci fă-i cunoscute toate urâciunile!
Dumnezeu l-a instruit pe Ezechiel să judece Israelul -- "să-i arate toate urăciunile" – nu să stea în tăcere pentru a nu ofensa pe cineva.
În Ezechiel 22:27-28, cuvântul Domnului a venit la Ezechiel și i-a spus să zică:
Conducătorii săi sunt în mijlocul ei asemenea lupilor care-şi sfâşie prada; ei varsă sânge şi pierd suflete ca să obţină un câştig necinstit. (v. 27).
Profeţii din mijlocul ei au pentru aceştia o tencuială din ipsos – viziuni deşarte şi preziceri mincinoase. Ei zic: «Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn!» Dar Domnul nu le-a vorbit. (v. 28).
"Tencuiala din ipsos" nu este cuvântul lui Dumnezeu. "Tencuiala din ipsos" este vanitatea și radiază minciuni. Proorocii Americii -- liderii religioși din această țară -- au tencuit pe "prinții" din acest pământ – congresiști, senatori și alți legislatori -- cu "tencuială din ipsos".

Turn now to John 19:10, and I will show you another example of the strength of Jesus and the unimportance of man.
In John 19:10, Pilate said to Jesus:
…Speakest thou not unto me? Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
Jesus would not answer him. I marvel at that. I thank God for the strength in that man. He did not answer the Roman governor.
God has shown me that I do not have to answer any man, unless God tells me to. That is a blessing to know, because authorities in the United States think they can force you to speak. No one can make you speak if God does not want you to.
Look at verse 10 again:
…Speakest thou not unto me? Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
Then, Jesus spoke. Jesus only spoke what he heard the Father say. And in verse 11, He said:
…Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
Jesus said to Pilate, the Roman governor in Judaea, “You could have no power over me, unless it were given to you from above.”
We have the same Spirit in us that Jesus had in Him. We saw in our earlier book, “Jesus Did the Father’s Will,” that we are to walk as Jesus walked. We saw how he walked in the earth as He was led to the cross.
We saw that He only did what He saw the Father do, and He only said what He heard the Father say. He said that the Father always heard Him as He spoke. That is marvelous. We can have the same confidence—the same faith.
Pilate was the Roman governor, and Jesus said to him:
…Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin (v.11).
God Grants Our Authority
Recently, I heard a United States congressman say on television, “God does not give you the opportunity to deduct your money when you give it to a tax-free organization—Congress does.” That congressman is going to learn who gives him the authority, because any time God decides we should not have that deduction, He will change it, whether you want Him to or not.
I saw the pride in that man, and I saw the blindness of this nation. A nationally known religious leader sat next to that congressman and did not tell him that he was wrong.
I wish I had been sitting there. I would have said, “Wait a minute, Congressman. The man Jesus just heard what you said, and He has a word for you. Any moment you do not appreciate Him, He can remove you and put someone in your place who will honor Him.”
They Daub With Untempered Morter
One of the leading religious leaders in the United States sat there silently, because he did not want to offend the congressman or because he did not have the word of God in his mouth. The prophets in this country need to hear the words of God spoke to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 22:2:
Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? Yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
God instructed Ezekiel to judge Israel—to “shew her all her abomination”—not to sit silently in order not to offend someone.
In Ezekiel 22:27-28, the word of the Lord came unto Ezekiel and told him to say:
Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain (v. 27).
And her prophets have daubed them with untampered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken (v. 28).
“Untempered morter” is not the words of God. “Untempered morter” is vanity and divining lies. The prophets of America—the religious leaders of this country—have daubed the “princes” in this land—the congressmen, senators, and other legislators—with “untampered morter.”
