Jesús murió por ti
Jesús murió en la cruz. Él murió en cuerpo, alma y Espíritu. Él murió por ti, por mí y por todo el mundo. Él murió, Él fue enterrado y Él resucitó al tercer día. Ese es el evangelio. Ese es el poder de Dios para la salvación de todos los que crean.
Jesús es nuestro ejemplo. Por lo tanto, es importante que tú y yo entendamos como Él se comportó en la tierra y en la cruz. Tú y yo también debemos entender que una vez que recibimos a Jesús, tenemos Su Espíritu y que nosotros podemos caminar como Él caminó.

Ve a Isaías 53:8-9. Esta es una profecía dada por el profeta Isaías de como el Espíritu Santo le dio las palabras, unos 700-750 años antes de que Jesús viniera a la tierra:

La palabra “muerte” en el verso 9 en realidad es en plural del hebreo “muertes”. Yo creo que a través de estudiar las escrituras y de las lecciones que Dios me ha enseñado, que Jesús murió tres muertes: una muerte física, una muerte del alma y una muerte espiritual.
En Su muerte física, Su cuerpo murió y fue enterrado o puesto en una tumba. En la muerte de Su alma, Su alma se convirtió en una ofrenda por el pecado para ti y para mí. Finalmente, en Su muerte espiritual, Su Espíritu fue separado de Dios.
Jesús fue un hombre
Jesús fue un hombre cuando Él estuvo en la tierra. Él fue Dios, pero Él se despojó de Su autoridad Divina y se convirtió en un hombre como tú y yo.
En Hebreos 2:14 nos dice que Él tenía la misma carne y sangre como nosotros.
En Romanos 8:3 dice que Él fue enviado como semejanza de carne de pecado.
En Filipenses 2:7 dice que Él fue hecho semejante a los hombres. Él se identifica con la raza humana en todos los sentidos.

Jesus Died for You
Jesus died on the cross. He died body, soul, and Spirit. He died for you, for me, and for the entire world. He died, He was buried, and He rose again the third day. That is the gospel. That is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.
Jesus is our example. Therefore, it is important that you and I understand how He conducted Himself on the earth and on the cross. You and I must also understand that once we receive Jesus, we have His Spirit, and that we can walk as He walked.
Jesus Died Body, Soul, and Spirit
Turn to Isaiah 53:8-9. This is a prophecy given by the prophet Isaiah as the Holy Spirit gave him utterance, some 700-750 years before Jesus came to the earth:
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken (v. 8).
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth (v.9).
The word "death" in verse 9 is actually plural--"deaths"--in Hebrew. I believe, through studying scripture and through the lessons God has taught me, that Jesus died three deaths: a physical death, a soulish death, and a spiritual death.
In His physical death, His body died and was buried, or put in a tomb. In His soulish death, His soul became a sin offering for you and me. Finally, in His spiritual death, His Spirit was separated from God.
Jesus Was a Man
Jesus was a man while He was on the earth. He was God, but He emptied Himself of His Godly authority and became a man like you and me.
Hebrews 2:14 tells us that He had the same flesh and blood as we do. Romans 8:3 says that He was sent in the likeness of sinful flesh. Philippians 2:7 says that He was made in the likeness of men. He identified with the human race in every way.
Jesus walked as a man on the earth. When He was about 30 years of age, He was baptized in the Holy Spirit. After His baptism in the Holy Spirit, Jesus began to walk in the power of the Spirit of God.

Citiți Faptele Apostolilor 3:11-12 cum mine:

Petru, când a văzut lucrul acesta, a luat cuvântul și a zis norodului: Bărbați israeliți, pentru ce vă mirați de lucrul acesta? De ce vă uitați cu ochii țintă la noi, ca și cum prin puterea noastră sau prin cucernicia noastră am fi făcut pe omul acesta să umble (v. 12)?

Uită-te la următoarele câteva versetele și vezi ce a predicat Petru:

Dumnezeu lui Avraam, Isaac și Iacov, Dumnezeul părinților noștri, a proslăvit pe Roul Său Isus, pe care voi L-ați dat în mâna lui Pilat; și v-ați lepădat de El înaintea lui, măcar că el era de părere să-I dea drumul (v. 13).

Voi v-ați lepădat de Cel Sfânt și Neprihănit și ați cerut să vi se dăruiască un ucigaș (v. 14);

Ați omorât pe Domnul vieții, pe care Dumnezeu L-a înviat din morți; noi suntem martori ai Lui (v. 15).

Evanghelia a fost aceea care l-a făcut pe acel om olog întreg. Ține minte când ne uităm la fiecare dintre aceste scripturi că Marcu 16:17 ne spune că semne îi urmează pe oamenii care cred sau se bazează pe Evanghelie. Vindecarea bolnavilor este unul dintre semnele care îi urmează pe oamenii care cred.

Apostolii au Predicat Învierea

Acum, uită-te la Faptele Apostolilor 4:33:

Apostolii mărturiseau cu multă putere despre învierea Domnului Isus. Și un mare har era peste toți.

În Faptele Apostolilor 17:18, Pavel, de asemenea, a predicat învierea.

Unii din filosofii epicurieni și stoici au intrat în vorbă cu el. Și unii ziceau: ,,Ce vrea să spună palavragiul acesta?” Alții, când l-au auzit că vestește pe Isus și învierea, ziceau: ,,Pare că vestește niște dumnezei străini”.

Am discutat deja despre puterea învierii, dar am vrut ca voi să vedeți că apostolii au dat mărturie pentru înviere. Ei nu au predicat numai că “Isus am murit pentru păcatele tale”.

Ei Au Vorbit în Limbi

În Faptele Apostolilor capitolul 10, a existat un om care nu era evreu pe nume Corneliu. Corneliu era un om devotat și un om care se temea de Dumnezeu. Dumnezeu l-a instruit pe Petru să meargă și să vorbească în casa lui Corneliu. Citiți versetele 34-35:

Atunci Petru a început să vorbească și a zis: În adevăr, văd că Dumnezeu nu este părtinitor (v. 34):

ci că, în orice neam, cine se temede El și lucrează neprihănire este primit de El (v. 35).

Dumnezeu nu este părtinitor oamenilor. Până acum apostolii au predicat numai evreilor. Corneliu nu era evreu. Isus a murit, a fost îngropat și a înviat din nou atât pentru evrei, cât și pentru cei care nu sunt evrei.

Continuă citirea versetelor 39-40, pentru că vreau să-ți arăt ce a predicat Petru.

Noi suntem martori a tot ce a făcut El în țara evreilor și în Ierusalim. Ei L-au omorât, atârnându-L pe lemn (v. 39):

Dar Dumnezeu L-a înviat a treia zi și a îngăduit să Se arate (v. 40);

Vezi Evanghelia în aceste versete? Petru a propovăduit Evanghelia pentru cei care nu erau evrei în casa lui Corneliu.

Uite ce s-a întâmplat în versetele 44-46:

Pe când rostea Petru cuvintele acestea, S-a coborât Duhul Sfânt peste toți cei ce ascultau Cuvântul (v. 44).

Toți credincioșii tăiați împrejur care veniseră cu Petru au rămas uimiți când au văzut că darul Duhului Sfânt s-a vărsat și peste cei neevrei (v. 45).

Căci îi auzeau vorbind în limbi și mărind pe Dumnezeu (v. 46).

Duhul Sfânt a căzut și pe cei care nu erau evrei în timp ce Petru propovăduia Evanghelia, și ei au vorbit în limbi. Marcu capitolul 16 afirmă că unul dintre semnele care urmează o persoană care crede Evanghelia este vorbirea în limbi noi.

The Lame Man Was Healed, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 6, Part 2

In Acts chapter 3, Peter and John were going to the temple to pray. On their way, they found a man lame from his mother’s womb. Peter and John prayed, and the man was healed completely.

Read Acts 3:11-12 with me:

And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering (v. 11).

And when Peter saw it, answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk (v. 12)?

Look at the next several verses and see what Peter preached:

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go (v. 13).

But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto (v. 14);

And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses (v. 15).

It was the gospel that made the lame man whole. Keep in mind as we look at each of these scriptures that Mark 16:17 tells us that signs follow people who believe, or hold fast to, the gospel. Healing the sick is one of the signs that follows people who believe.

The Apostles Preached the Resurrection

Next, look at Acts 4:33:

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

In Acts 17:18, Paul also preached the resurrection.

Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said,

What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.

We have already discussed the power of the resurrection, but I wanted you to see that the apostles gave witness to the resurrection. They did not preach “Jesus died for your sins” only.

They Spoke with Tongues

In Acts chapter 10, there was a centurion named Cornelius. Cornelius was a devout man and a man that feared God. God instructed Peter to go and speak in Cornelius’ house. Read verses 34-35:

The Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons (v. 34):

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him (v. 35).

God is not a respecter of persons. The apostles had been preaching to the Jews only until this point. Cornelius was a Gentile. Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for Jews and Gentiles alike.

Continue reading verses 39-40, because I want to show you what Peter preached.

And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree (v. 39):

Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly (v. 40);

Do you see the gospel in these verses? Peter was preaching the gospel to the Gentiles in Cornelius’ house.

Look what happened in verses 44-46:

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word (v. 44).

And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost (v. 45).

For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God (v. 46).

The Holy Ghost fell on the Gentiles as Peter was preaching the gospel, and they spoke in other tongues. Mark chapter 16 states that one of the signs that follow a person who believes the gospel is speaking in new tongues.
