Arrepiéntete Y Cree En El Evangelio
Después del arrepentimiento, tú tienes que hacer algo. Tienes que creer el evangelio. Creyendo y sometiendo tu vida en el evangelio, tú dejas que Jesús ejercite Su señoría en tú vida. Si tú quieres que Jesús sea tú Señor, tienes que creer el evangelio.
Romanos 10:9 dice que tú tienes que creer que Jesús fue resucitado de entre los muertos y confesar que él es el Señor. Entonces Él será tu Señor. Si tú no crees que Él fue resucitado de entre los muertos, Él no será el Señor. Si Él no es tu Señor, tú no eres salvo. Es tan sencillo.
Cree en la Biblia. No creas en los predicadores, ni en mí me creas. Busca por ti mismo. Busca en las escrituras y encuentra si lo que estoy enseñando es verdad.
Todavía mejor, ve por tu Biblia y ábrela hoy en Romanos 10:8-10. Velo por ti mismo que estas palabras son la verdad. Le 1 Corintios 15:1-4 y Marcos 1:14-15 y ve que son la verdad.
1 Corintios 15:2 dice que si no creemos que Jesús fue resucitado de entre los muertos, nuestra creencia es vana o nula. Si tú quieres que Cristo sea el Señor de tú vida, tendrás que confesarle a él.
Tú tendrás que creer que Jesús fue resucitado de entre los muertos, confesarle como Señor. Entonces Él vendrá a ser el Señor de tu vida. Haciendo esto, tú estarás sometiendo tú vida a Él.
La gente dice: "Jesús es mi Señor". Entonces yo les pregunto, "¿Crees en el evangelio?"
"¡Ah, sí!"
"¿Crees en la muerte, el entierro y la resurrección?"
"¡Ah, sí!"
"¿Tú crees que es el poder de Dios?"
"Yo no sé".
"¿Tienes algo del poder en tú vida?"
"No, pero yo creo que Jesús es mi Señor".
He caminado en medio de multitudes como esta. Ellos no sabrían de Jesús aún si Él llegara en un burro. Ellos solo han oído acerca de Él. No los estoy despreciando. Yo solamente estoy tratando de decirte que ellos no conocen a Jesús el hombre.
Él es un hombre, ¿Lo sabes? Previamente me asombraría decir: "el hombre". La gente religiosa dice: "Ah, no seas irrespetuoso. Él es el Hijo de Dios".
Bueno, Él era un Judío, Él era un carpintero. Él era hijo de María. Él era indistinguible del resto de la gente, hasta que Él recibió el Espíritu Santo y pasó 40 días en el desierto, ayunando y hablando la Palabra de Dios al diablo.
Él venció al diablo y regresó a Galilea en la habilidad del Espíritu Santo. Jesús llamó a sus discípulos y ellos fueron a Capernaúm. Ahí, en el día de reposo, Él enseñó en la sinagoga. La gente estaba sorprendida cuando los demonios gritaban saliendo del hombre.
¡Ese es el verdadero Jesús! Eso hizo en aquel tiempo y Él está haciendo lo mismo el día de hoy. Estamos viviendo en un tiempo emocionante.
Jesús dijo: "Arrepiéntete y cree en el evangelio", la muerte, el entierro y la resurrección. Si tú no crees en cualquier otra cosa, cree en el evangelio. Eso es todo lo que es necesario.
Tú necesitas saber cómo yo empecé a caminar con Dios. Yo pensé que mucho conocimiento me iba s dar mucho poder. Yo leí cada libro que puede. Leí los libros de predicadores y escuché sus casetes. Yo tenía un casete en mi carro. Yo tenía Biblias en mi carro. Yo tenía los casetes del Viejo y el Nuevo Testamento en mi carro. Estaba leyendo los libros de todos, escuchando los casetes y muriendo cada día.
Dios dijo que el poder de Dios es en el evangelio. Yo pensé que eso era muy simple. ¿Cómo puede ser eso? El poder de Dios está en el hecho de que Jesús murió, fue enterrado y resucitó al tercer día. Jesús me dijo: "¡Doyle, arrepiéntete y cree en el evangelio!”
Entre más camino con Dios, mi camino regresa a la verdad básica. No olvides en creer que Jesús murió, fue enterrado y resucitó. Eso es el poder de Dios para salvación de la gente que cree en la verdad. Eso es de lo que se trata este libro. Te está enseñando Cristianismo, la muerte, el entierro y la resurrección de Jesús.
¿Sabías que muchos Cristianos todavía tienen a Jesús en el pesebre? Ellos continúan percibiéndolo como un bebé. Otros tanto lo tiene todavía en la cruz. Sólo algunas personas saben del verdadero Jesús (Jesús el resucitado). Ellos saben del Jesús histórico, pero ellos no saben que Cristo resucitó de entre los muertos.
Yo he dicho esta historia muchas veces en la iglesia y en la escuela Bíblica. Está viniendo en mi espíritu ahora:
Un día estaba parado afuera en mi jardín y estaba pensando acerca de cómo fui criado en la iglesia. Mi padre y madre han sido Cristianos más de 60 años. Yo sabía acerca de David a través de la Biblia. Sabia de Abraham. Y había oído acerca de Elías. Parecían como hombres. Ellos parecían bastante fantásticos, pero eran hombres.
Sin embargo, Jesús era como un extraterrestre que era inaccesible. Él era como años luz de distancia de mi. Yo pensé que sería bonito si pudiera conocer a ese hombre.
Yo dije a Dios: "Yo quería saber porque David era como un hombre, Abraham y Pablo eran hombres. Tu Palabra dice que tu hijo era un hombre. ¿Por qué Él es inaccesible? Dios me dijo: "La gente en la iglesia a la que asististe no tenían la revelación de mi Hijo".
Nosotros conocimos a todos los hombres de la Biblia según la carne. Tú no puedes conocer a Jesús según la carne. 2 Corintios 5:16 dice: " De manera que nosotros de aquí en adelante a nadie conocemos según la carne; y aun si a Cristo conocimos según la carne, ya no lo conocemos así".
Nosotros una vez conocimos a Jesús según la carne. Sin embargo, Él murió y resucito al tercer día. Ahora nosotros lo conocemos como el Cristo resucitado. ¡Él está vivo para Dios! Si tú conoces al verdadero Jesús, Jesús el resucitado, Él hará cualquier cosa en ti y en mi.
Este es el Cristo que quiero conocer. Este es Jesús de Nazaret que quiero entender. Él es el primero que resucitó, no él que está en la cruz y todavía está ahí sufriendo.
Yo no quiero oír acerca de Jesús el religioso. Yo no tengo tiempo de poner a Jesús en el pesebre en el tiempo de Navidad. Lo siento, por destrozar tus doctrinas, pero no pierdo el tiempo. Él no está en el pesebre. Ese no es el evangelio.
Gracias a Dios que Él te está revelando el verdadero evangelio, la muerte, el entierro y resurrección del Señor Jesús. ¡Arrepiéntete de todas la mentiras que hayas creído acerca del evangelio y cree en la verdad!

Repentance And Belief In The Gospel
After repentance, you must do something. You must believe the gospel. By believing the gospel and submitting your life to the gospel, you allow Jesus to exercise His Lordship in your life. If you want Jesus to be your Lord, you have to believe the gospel.
Romans 10:9 says that you must believe that Jesus was raised from the dead and confess Him as Lord. Then He will be your Lord. If you do not believe He was raised from the dead, He will not be Lord. If He is not your Lord, you are not saved. It is that simple.
Believe the Bible. Do not believe preachers, and do not believe me. Search it out for yourself. Search the scriptures and find out if what I am teaching is true.
Better yet, get your Bible and open it today to Romans 10:8-10. See for yourself that these words are true. Read I Corinthians 15:1-4 and Mark 1:14-15 and see that they are true.
I Corinthians 15:2 says that if we do not believe Jesus was raised from the dead, our believing is vain, or void. If you want Christ to be Lord of your life, you will have to confess Him so.
You will have to believe that Jesus was raised from the dead and confess Him as Lord. Then He will become Lord of your life. By doing so, you will have submitted your life to Him.
People say, “Jesus is my Lord.” Then you ask them, “Do you believe the gospel?”
“Oh, yeah!”
“Do you believe the death, burial, and resurrection?”
“Oh, yeah!”
“Do you believe it is the power of God?”
“I do not know.”
“Do you have any power in your life?”
“No, but I believe that Jesus is my Lord.”
I walked through crowds like that. They would not know Jesus if He were to show up on a donkey. They have only heard about Him. I am not putting them down. I am simply trying to tell you that they do not know Jesus the man.
He is a man, you know? It previously would have astonished me to say “the man.” Religious people say, “Oh, do not be so disrespectful. He is the Son of God.”
Well, He was a Jew. He was a carpenter. He was Mary’s son. He was indistinguishable from the rest of the people until He received the Holy Ghost and spent 40 days in the wilderness--fasting and speaking the Word of God to the devil.
He overcame the devil and returned to Galilee in the ability of the Holy Spirit. Jesus called His disciples, and they went into Capernaum. There, on the sabbath, He taught in the synagogue. The people were astonished when the demons screamed out of the man.
That is the true Jesus! He did that then, and He is doing the same thing today. We are living in an exciting time.
Jesus said, “Repent ye, and believe the gospel”--the death, burial, and resurrection. If you do not believe anything else, believe the gospel. That is all that is necessary.
You need to know how I started walking with God. I thought much knowledge would give me much power. I read every book I could. I read preachers’ books and listened to their tapes. I had a tape recorder in my car. I had Bibles in my car. I had Old and New Testament tapes in my car. I was reading everyone’s books, listening to tapes, and dying every day.
God said that the power of God is in the gospel. I thought that was too simple. How could that be? The power of God is in the fact that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day. Jesus said to me, “Doyle, repent and believe the gospel!”
The farther I walk with God, the more my walk returns to the basic truth. Do not forget to believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. That is the power of God unto salvation to people who believe the truth. That is what this book is all about. It is teaching you Christianity--the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
Did you know that many Christians still have Jesus in a manger? They continue to perceive Him as a baby. Many others still have Him on the cross. Few people know the true Jesus--the resurrected Jesus. They know the historical Jesus, but they do not know the Christ who rose from the dead.
I have told this story many times in church and in Bible school. It is coming up in my spirit now:
I was standing out in my yard one day and thinking about when I was raised in church. My father and mother have been Christians more than 60 years. From the Bible, I knew about David. I knew about Abraham. I had heard about Elijah. They seemed like men. They appeared to be rather far-out men, but they were men.
However, Jesus was like some alien being that was unapproachable. He was light-years away from me. I thought that it would be so nice if I could only know this man.
I said to God, “I want to know why David was like a man, and Abraham and Paul were men. Your Word says your Son was a man. Why is He so unapproachable?” God said to me, “The people at the church you attended did not have a revelation of my Son.”
We knew all of the men in the Bible after the flesh. You cannot know Jesus after the flesh. II Corinthians 5:16 says, “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.”
We once knew Jesus after the flesh. However, He died, was buried, and rose again the third day. Now we know Him as the resurrected Christ. He is alive unto God! If you know the true Jesus, the resurrected Jesus, He will do anything in you and me.
That is the Christ I want to know. That is the Jesus of Nazareth I want to understand. He is the one that rose again--not the one that was on the cross and is still up there suffering.
I do not want to hear about the religious Jesus. I do not have time to put Jesus in a manger at Christmas time. I am sorry to rip apart your doctrines, but I do not have time to waste. He is not in a manger. That is not the gospel.
Thank God that He is revealing the true gospel to you--the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Repent of all the lies you have believed about the gospel and believe the truth!
