C. DOCTRINA BOTEZURILOR
Există cinci botezuri în Noul Testament: Botezul pocăinței primit de la Ioan, botezul în apă, botezul pentru cei morți, botezul cu Duhul Sfânt și botezul suferinței. Botezul pocăinței primit de la Ioan nu se mai practică.
1. BOTEZUL DE POCĂINȚA LUI IOAN
Botezul dat de Ioan a fost un botez al pocăinței, pentru ca ei să creadă în Cel ce va veni după Ioan, Isus Hristos. Acesta nu se mai practică, iar Apostolul Pavel a arătat că atunci când i-a întâlnit pe cei care au primit botezul de la Ioan, el i-a botezat în numele Domnului Isus.
Marcu 1
4 a venit Ioan care boteza în pustie, propovăduind botezul pocăinţei spre iertarea păcatelor.
5 Tot ţinutul Iudeii şi toţi locuitorii Ierusalimului au început să iasă la el; şi, mărturisindu-şi păcatele, erau botezaţi de el în rîul Iordan.
Faptele apostolilor 19
1 Pe cînd era Apolo în Corint, Pavel, dupăce a trecut prin ţinuturile de sus ale Asiei, a ajuns la Efes. Aici a întîlnit pe cîţiva ucenici,
2 şi le -a zis: ,,Aţi primit voi Duhul Sfînt cînd aţi crezut?`` Ei i-au răspuns: ,,Nici n'am auzit măcar că a fost dat un Duh Sfînt.``
3 Dar cu ce botez aţi fost botezaţi?`` le -a zis el. Şi ei au răspuns: ,,Cu botezul lui Ioan.``
4 Atunci Pavel a zis: ,,Ioan a botezat cu botezul pocăinţei, şi spunea norodului să creadă în Celce venea după el, adică în Isus.``
5 Cînd au auzit ei aceste vorbe, au fost botezaţi în Numele Domnului Isus.
6 Cînd şi -a pus Pavel mînile peste ei, Duhul Sfînt S'a pogorît peste ei, şi vorbeau în alte limbi, şi prooroceau.
7 Erau cam doisprezece bărbaţi de toţi.
2. BOTEZUL ÎN APĂ
Botezul în apă se face numai prin imersiune. Este o poruncă directă a Domnului nostru și este numai pentru credincioși. Suntem botezați întru moartea lui Isus Hristos, omul nostru cel vechi este răstignit împreună cu El, pentru ca trupul păcatului să fie distrus, iar cum Hristos a fost înviat din morți prin slava Tatălui, tot așa și noi ar trebui să trăim o viață nouă. În ceea ce privește administrarea botezului în apă, trebuie precizat faptul că cei botezați sunt "născuți din nou" sau "mântuiți". În Scripturi există două feluri de botez în apă. În Matei 28, botezul se face în numele Tatălui, Fiului și al Duhului Sfânt. În cartea "Faptele Apostolilor", botezul se face în numele lui Isus. „Eu personal botez precum în cartea "Faptele Apostolilor", "în numele lui Isus".” Doyle Davidson

13 Atunci a venit Isus din Galilea la Iordan, la Ioan, ca să fie botezat de el.
14 Dar Ioan căuta să -l oprească. ,,Eu``, zicea el, ,,am trebuinţă să fiu botezat de Tine, şi Tu vii la mine?``
15 Drept răspuns, Isus i -a zis: ,,Lasă-Mă acum, căci aşa se cade să împlinim tot ce trebuie împlinit.`` Atunci Ioan L -a lăsat.
Romani 6
1 Ce vom zice dar? Să păcătuim mereu, ca să se înmulţească harul?
2 Nicidecum! Noi, cari am murit faţă de păcat, cum să mai trăim în păcat?
3 Nu ştiţi că toţi cîţi am fost botezaţi în Isus Hristos, am fost botezaţi în moartea Lui?
4 Noi deci, prin botezul în moartea Lui, am fost îngropaţi împreună cu El, pentruca, după cum Hristos a înviat din morţi, prin slava Tatălui, tot aşa şi noi să trăim o viaţă nouă.
5 În adevăr, dacă ne-am făcut una cu El, printr'o moarte asemănătoare cu a Lui, vom fi una cu El şi printr'o înviere asemănătoare cu a Lui.
6 Ştim bine că omul nostru cel vechi a fost răstignit împreună cu El, pentruca trupul păcatului să fie desbrăcat de puterea lui, în aşa fel ca să nu mai fim robi ai păcatului;
7 căci cine a murit, de drept, este izbăvit de păcat.
8 Acum, dacă am murit împreună cu Hristos, credem că vom şi trăi împreună cu El,
9 întrucît ştim că Hristosul înviat din morţi, nu mai moare: moartea nu mai are nici o stăpînire asupra Lui.
10 Fiindcă prin moartea de care a murit, El a murit pentru păcat, odată pentru totdeauna; iar prin viaţa pe care o trăieşte, trăieşte pentru Dumnezeu.
11 Tot aşa şi voi înşivă, socotiţi-vă morţi faţă de păcat, şi vii pentru Dumnezeu, în Isus Hristos, Domnul nostru.
Coloseni 2
12 fiind îngropaţi împreună cu El, prin botez, şi înviaţi în El şi împreună cu El, prin credinţa în puterea lui Dumnezeu, care L -a înviat din morţi.
Faptele apostolilor 8
36 Pe cînd îşi urmau ei drumul, au dat peste o apă. Şi famenul a zis: ,,Uite apă; ce mă împiedică să fiu botezat?``
37 Filip a zis: ,,Dacă crezi din toată inima, se poate.`` Famenul a răspuns: ,,Cred că Isus Hristos este Fiul lui Dumnezeu.``
38 A poruncit să stea carul, s'au pogorît amîndoi în apă, şi Filip a botezat pe famen.
39 Cînd au ieşit afară din apă, Duhul Domnului a răpit pe Filip, şi famenul nu l -a mai văzut. În timp ce famenul îşi vedea de drum, plin de bucurie,

47 ,,Se poate opri apa ca să nu fie botezaţi aceştia, cari au primit Duhul Sfînt ca şi noi?``
48 Şi a poruncit să fie botezaţi în Numele Domnului Isus Hristos. Atunci l-au rugat să mai rămînă cîteva zile la ei.

19 Duceţi-vă şi faceţi ucenici din toate neamurile, botezîndu -i în Numele Tatălui şi al Fiului şi al Sfîntului Duh.

38 ,,Pocăiţi-vă``, le -a zis Petru, ,,şi fiecare din voi să fie botezat în Numele lui Isus Hristos, spre iertarea păcatelor voastre; apoi veţi primi darul Sfîntului Duh.

16 Căci nu Se pogorîse încă peste niciunul din ei, ci fuseseră numai botezaţi în Numele Domnului Isus.
3. BOTEZUL PENTRU CEI MORȚI
Apostolul Pavel scrie despre botezul pentru cei morți. În decembrie 2010 am început să facem acest lucru pentru cei care au murit în credință, dar nu au fost botezați niciodată în apă. Botezul a fost administrat cu aceste cuvinte: "Te botez în numele lui Isus pentru cei morți."

29 Altfel, ce ar face cei ce se botează pentru cei morţi? Dacă nu înviază morţii nicidecum, de ce se mai botează ei pentru cei morţi?

40 pentrucă Dumnezeu avea în vedere ceva mai bun pentru noi, ca să n'ajungă ei la desăvîrşire fără noi.
C. DOCTRINE OF BAPTISMS
There are five baptisms in the New Testament; John’s baptism of repentance, water baptism, baptism for the dead, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and baptism of suffering. John’s baptism of repentance is no longer applicable.
1. JOHN’S BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE
The baptism of John was a baptism of repentance, that they should believe on him which should come after John, Christ Jesus. It is no longer applicable, the Apostle Paul proving that when he met those that had John’s baptism, he baptized them in the name of the Lord Jesus.

4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
Acts 19
1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
7 And all the men were about twelve.
2. WATER BAPTISM
Baptism in water is by immersion only. It is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. We are baptized into the death of Jesus Christ, our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin is destroyed, that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Regarding administering water baptism, it must be established that they are “born again” or “saved.”
There are two ways in scripture to baptize in water. Matthew 28, they are baptized in the name of the Father, Son and of the Holy Ghost. In the book of Acts, they are baptized in the name of Jesus. I personally baptize them like they did in the book of Acts, “in the name of Jesus”. Doyle Davidson

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

Romans 6
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Acts 8
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Acts 10
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Acts 2
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 8
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
3. BAPTISM FOR THE DEAD
The Apostle Paul writes of their baptizing for the dead. In December of 2010 we began to do this for those who died in faith but were never baptized in water. It was administered with these words, “I baptize you in the name of Jesus for the dead.”
I Corinthians 15
29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
Hebrews 11
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
