God's Warning about Astrology by Terre Brown
"Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know. Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast labored from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail. Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee." Isaiah 47:11-13
The following is a rather long testimony, but if you have the heart to consider the Word of God and ears to hear, I pray God will minister to you about the danger of "playing around" with horoscopes. There is no playing around with the devil; he is out to destroy you! I see a lot of horoscopes come through on Facebook, and I used to read them as a girl until I learned that they were an abomination to God. I stopped reading them, but I didn't know that an evil spirit was associated with them and had bound me up and was still there even after I stopped. After I began hearing the gospel preached, God began delivering me of sorcery from astrology, seances, and the Ouija board that I had done as a girl. I did not do any of these a lot, but a little of the devil will affect you! So, I pray that if you have been involved in things that you will humble yourself and let God set you free from the powers of darkness that accompany those acts.

Seances are Witchcraft (Originally written and published 9/2/2008)
Labor Day, Steve and I were both off work, so we decided to spend part of the day cleaning out our garage. When we started working at about noon, I had a slight headache, but by about 1:30 my head hurt so badly that I couldn’t even think straight; the pressure on one of my eyes was so intense it was difficult to see clearly, and I had become very nauseated.
I thought I was overcoming some stronghold from my childhood related to my mom's stuff that I was cleaning out, so I kept on working as long as I could, thinking I would press through it and overcome. But finally somewhere between 1:30 and 2:00, the pain was so intense that I felt like I was about to throw up. I went in the house, sat down and just kept binding witchcraft. I could hear Steve out in the garage binding witchcraft as well. I was extremely ill, dizzy and very weak; it came on suddenly but was very strong. I decided that I would have a bite to eat. I put something in the toaster and while I had my back turned, the toaster caught on fire and quickly the kitchen filled with smoke! Just at that moment, Steve came into the smoky kitchen; he commented that we were certainly battling some evil spirit!
I just sat down, I really couldn't do anything else, and we kept praying. After about 45 minutes I was greatly improved, just still somewhat dizzy, but I went back out into the garage to finish going through boxes. Soon I felt fine, but it had been some very intense hours. We worked until 4:30 and then went and ate dinner before going to worship.
When we got to the meeting, Doyle told about being in a great war that afternoon and overcoming a spirit of witchcraft in a woman. He said it was a spirit of witchcraft from going to séances as a girl. He also said that many others also had the same bondage.
When I was in elementary school, around fourth grade, I went to slumber parties at a friend’s house and participated in séances a couple of times. It seemed pretty silly because no one really knew what they were doing and it didn’t appear to do much of anything, nothing happened. I did not even consider that I was inquiring of the devil, but that’s exactly what it was. We certainly didn’t inquire of God! People say, oh it’s just kid’s stuff, but it was clearly no game how sick I was when we were cleaning out the garage that day. I was really miserable there for awhile.
When I heard Doyle tell about overcoming that witchcraft at exactly the same time that I was feeling so ill, and I knew that I had also participated in séances as a girl, then it was obvious to me that I had been delivered of that same witchcraft right then when he was praying. That spirit began manifesting in me as I was being delivered and it made me extremely ill. As Doyle overcame that spirit, I was set free by the power of God, and I was completely healed of all that horrible pain!
This is the same thing that happened in Matthew 8:16. "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:" When the devil was cast out, then they were healed.
Jesus said in Matthew 12 that Satan cannot cast out Satan and that when devils are cast out, the kingdom of God is come unto you. In I Thessalonians 1, Paul said that the gospel came not in word only, but also in power. I’m so grateful that God has brought the gospel, the power of God to us to work in our lives and to deliver us of things that we may not even know have us bound. I did not know that a spirit of witchcraft had bound me up, and I'm very grateful that God set me free before that evil spirit that had me bound could bring further destruction to my life! If you set your heart on this gospel, it will expose the darkness in your heart, deliver you and heal you up from it's evil effects. Thank God!

Isaiah 47 tells of evil coming upon us because of seeking after all those multitude of counsels that are evil. Jesus said, Repent (change) and believe the gospel (not all those other ways)! Ask the Lord to deliver you from any evil you've been involved in so that the ill effects of them will not bring destruction into your life one day! Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life more abundantly. The gospel will bring blessings to your life!!
Thank God!
Jésus a fait la volonté du Père/Jesus did the Father's will, by Doyle Davidson - Chapt.
Chapter 2, Jesus Communicated with the Father (Part 1)
We are going to look at the way Jesus communicated with His Father while He was on the earth. In 1973, the Father said to me, "I want you to take the Bible, and I am going to teach you about my Son. I am going to show you about His life, and He is going to be your example. You are going to walk in the earth as He walked." I was amazed to think that a person could walk as Jesus walked.
Look at I John 2:6. This verse was spoken by the apostle John as the Holy Spirit gave him utterance: He that saith he abideth in him [Jesus] ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
These words are difficult for a human mind--a human soul, that is, the will, intellect, and emotion--to comprehend. Having grown up in a religious home in the United States of America--and America is a religious nation, I was amazed that anyone could think that a person could walk as Jesus walked. Not only does this verse say that we can, it says that each of us "…ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." It is our duty to walk as Jesus walked.
God Will Judge the World
Acts17:31 states that God has appointed a day in righteousness in which He will judge the people of the world by that one righteous man, Jesus. I was astonished when I read these scriptures describing how Jesus walked and realized that God wanted me to walk even as He walked.
Look at Acts 17:30-31: And the times of this ignorance (referring to idolatry) God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent (v. 30):
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead (v. 31).
God will judge the world--judge the nations, judge you and me--on the appointed day by that man, the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be a righteous judgment, and if you and I are to receive rewards for our service, we will have to walk as Jesus walked.
Now,if I did not fear God, I would do as I pleased. I love the church, or I would not say this, but the church of America is a rebellious organism. It barely knows God.
Most of the preachers in this country barely know Jesus or anything about Him. They do not do the will of the Father. They do their own will. They all have a plan, and I doubt very seriously if many of them ever consider that a day will come when they will be judged in righteousness, with Jesus Christ as their example. If they did, they would not do the rebellious deeds that they do in the earth.
I marvel at American religion. It is not Christianity, it ismerely religion. I marvel at the rebellious, self-willed ways of American religionists and their lack of concern for what Jesus thinks.
Our law enforcement agencies, our courts, and our churches are all similar. Of course, that is not surprising, because Ezekiel chapter 22 tells us that if the prophets disobey God first, there is a decline in all society.
The decline starts with the prophets, then it goes to the church of God, then to the judges, courts and politicians, and following that to the people. I see a disregard for human beings and a disregard for the Father's will, both in the church and in the court system of America.
JESÚS HIZO LA VOLUNTAD DEL PADRE/JESUS DID THE FATHER'S WILL by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 2.1 Español/English
30 Pero Dios, habiendo pasado por alto los tiempos de esta ignorancia, (refiriéndose a idolatría) ahora manda a todos los hombres en todo lugar, que se arrepientan;
Apenas conoce a Dios.

ISUS A FĂCUT VOIA TATĂLUI/JESUS DID THE FATHER’S WILL by Doyle Davidson Chapter 3 PART 1 română/engleză
Cel Ce Face Dreptate Este Drept
Atunci Ioan a încuviințat (v. 15).
Va vedea lumina şi va fi mulţumit; prin cunoştinţa Sa Robul Meu cel drept va îndreptăţi pe mulţi;
I Ioan 3:7 spune:
Atunci Ioan a încuviințat.
Isus A Făcut Plăcerea Tatălui
Isus A Fost Îndrumat De Duh
Isus A Fost Ispitit De Diavol
Isus i-a răspuns, spunând, “Este scris...”
JESUS IN THE WILDERNESS, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 3 Part 1
I mentioned earlier that Jesus did not operate in the power of God until He was baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, and fasted and prayed and overcame the devil. Only then did He return into Galilee in the power of the Holy Spirit.
It is remarkable to think that Jesus was a man and that He is our example. It is remarkable to think that Jesus could have been unrighteous. If He could not have been unrighteous, why did Satan bother to tempt Him?
Habakkuk 2:4 says, “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him.” The Spirit of Jesus the man was the Son from Heaven. That Spirit was perfect and righteous. His soul and His body, however, came from His earthly mother and had to be made upright, just as our spirit, soul, and body will be made upright. We will be made upright when we walk as He walked.
He That Doeth Righteousness Is Righteous
Matthew 3:13 begins:
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him (v. 13).
But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me (v. 14)?
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him (v. 15).
The word “righteousness” means to be declared right. To be declared right, you must be led by the Spirit of God, and everything you do must be the will of God.
We are taught that righteousness was a position. We were taught that we were made righteous when we received Jesus Christ.
Studying the life of Jesus, however, I began to see that righteousness is by faith, and that it is in the heart. Then I saw that Jesus was a righteous servant. Isaiah 53:11 prophesies about Jesus:
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by this knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many;
Jesus is called a righteous servant. His Spirit was the Son from heaven, but He had a soul and a body like ours. His soul and His body had weaknesses like ours, and He could have yielded to the temptations that He faced. What made Jesus righteous was His faith and His obedience to the Father.
I John 3:7 says:
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that doeth righteousness is righteous, not he that knows all the definitions of the word.
Look again at Matthew 3:15:
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Jesus was called a righteous servant. It was God’s will that John the Baptist baptize Jesus in the river Jordan, and He fulfilled God’s righteousness, because He was led by the Spirit and obeyed.
Jesus Pleased the Father
Matthew 3:16-17 continue:
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him (v. 16):
Jesus had just received water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit and He heard this:
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased (v. 17).
It pleased the Father that Jesus should be baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, and the Father said so. Jesus is our example, so our water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit also please the Father. Remember that I John 2:6 tells us: “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”
Jesus Was Led by the Spirit
According to Luke 3:23, “Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age.” Then, in Luke 4:1, we see:
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness (v. 1),
Being forty days tempted of the devil... (v. 2).
The Father was pleased that Jesus came up out of the water and was baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Father was equally as pleased that He entered into the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted of the devil. Jesus was still righteous, and He was righteous because He was doing everything that God asked Him to do. He was being led by the Spirit of God. To be led by the Spirit is to walk by faith.
Jesus Was Tempted of the Devil
Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted of the devil, and as Luke 4:2 says:
...in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
At the end of the 40 days, three temptations occurred that the Holy Spirit thought important enough to record. They are recorded by both Matthew and Luke, and the apostle Peter tells us that the holy men of God only wrote when the Holy Ghost moved upon them. Therefore, we should pay attention.
Luke 4:3 begins:
And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God command this stone that it be made bread (v. 3).
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God (v. 4).
Jesus had been tempted 40 days, led by the Holy Spirit, and Satan knew He was hungry. He had been fasting for 40 days. Satan said, “Command this stone that it be made bread.” In effect, he said, “I want you to misuse your authority.” Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written...”
Jesus did not simply pluck His response out of Deuteronomy 8:3 and quote it. Jesus only spoke what He heard His Father speak. In John 7:16, Jesus said that His doctrine was not His. In John 5:30, He said, “As I hear, I judge.” In John 14:24, He said, “The word which I hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.”
Jesus only spoke what He heard His Father speak. The Father, by the Spirit of God, revealed to Him: “...It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, overcame the devil with faith.
