A. POCĂINȚA DE FAPTELE MOARTE
Pocăința este o schimbare a voinței. Ea duce la recunoașterea adevărului. Primul pas al omului către mântuire este întristarea după voia lui Dumnezeu, care duce la pocăință, iar bunătatea lui Dumnezeu este ceea ce îl conduce acolo. Pocăința de faptele moarte este pocăința pentru faptele moarte.
Marcu 1
14 După ce a fost închis Ioan, Isus a venit în Galilea, şi propovăduia Evanghelia lui Dumnezeu.
15 El zicea: ,,S'a împlinit vremea, şi Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este aproape. Pocăiţi-vă, şi credeţi în Evanghelie.``

25 să îndrepte cu blîndeţă pe potrivnici, în nădejdea că Dumnezeu le va da pocăinţa, ca să ajungă la cunoştinţa adevărului;

14 cu cît mai mult sîngele lui Hristos, care, prin Duhul cel vecinic, S'a adus pe Sine însuş jertfă fără pată lui Dumnezeu, vă va curăţi cugetul vostru de faptele moarte, ca să slujiţi Dumnezeului cel viu!
B. CREDINȚĂ ÎN DUMNEZEU
Credința este substanța lucrurilor sperate, dovezile lucrurilor nevăzute. Cel neprihănit va trăi prin credință, căci fără credință este imposibil să-I placă lui Dumnezeu. Credința este un duh, ea se găsește în suflet. Există o primă pocăință de faptele moarte, după care urmează credința. Credința vine prin auzirea Evangheliei, iar cu acea credință ne curățăm sufletele și domnim în această lume.
Evrei 11
1 Şi credinţa este o încredere neclintită în lucrurile nădăjduite, o puternică încredinţare despre lucrurile cari nu se văd.
Habacuc 2
4 Iată, i s'a îngîmfat sufletul, nu este fără prihană în el; dar cel neprihănit va trăi prin credinţa lui.
Galateni 3
11 Şi că nimeni nu este socotit neprhănit înaintea lui Dumnezeu, prin Lege, este învederat, căci ,,cel neprihănit prin credinţă va trăi.``

A. REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS
Repentance is a changing of the will. It brings to the acknowledging of the truth. Man's first step toward salvation is Godly sorrow that worketh repentance, and it is the goodness of God that leads him there. Repentance from dead works, is repentance of dead deeds.
Mark 1
14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
2 Timothy 2
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

B. FAITH TOWARD GOD
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The just shall live by faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is a spirit, it is in the heart. There is first repentance from dead works then faith follows. Faith comes by hearing the gospel, and with that faith we purify our hearts and reign in this world.

4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
