In this book, I have given you a basic introduction to the gospel of the Lord Jesus. You have seen throughout this book that the gospel is that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day.

Also, you have seen that preaching is simply the proclaiming of the gospel. There is no place for interpretation or speculation. These words are written simply.

Further, you have seen that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus is the only true gospel. It is the power of God unto salvation for all of those who believe it. You must stand, or continue, in the gospel. or your believing is in vain.

The gospel of the kingdom of God is always preached with authority and always has the power of God associated with it. Religionists have perverted the gospel by preaching the Word only--usually their word. They seldom manifest any power. This is a false gospel, and those who preach any other gospel besides the true gospel are accursed.

You were instructed in Mark 1:14 and 15 to repent and believe the gospel. Repentance is the changing of your will to God’s will. After repenting, you must believe the gospel. To believe the gospel, you must have heard it. And you must have heard and seen the gospel from a preacher who was sent by the Holy Ghost.

According to Acts 8:5 and 6, Philip preached Christ [the gospel] to the Samaritans. The people paid attention as Philip spoke. They heard and saw the miracles which he did. If a preacher is sent, he will preach the gospel to you. That gospel will bring glad tidings of good things to you!

If you need salvation, you must believe Romans 10:9 and 10. You must believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. You must confess Jesus as Lord of your life. This is simple--no sinner’s prayer and no walking down an aisle. Just obey God’s Word.

Faith comes by hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Remember, you must have heard the Word from a preacher sent by God. Then you can believe God and call on Him in faith.

Preachers have told you to confess Jesus as Savior or Healer or as the One who can give you prosperity or peace. However, you can have continuous healing, prosperity, and other blessings only if Jesus is your Lord.

How can you know if Jesus is your Lord? If you hear the gospel and obey it, then Jesus is your Lord. James 1:22 says that if you are a hearer of the Word only, and not a doer, you are deceived. Who wants to be deceived? No one. Then hear the gospel and keep it. Meditate on it day and night.

Finally, in Isaiah, chapter 52, you saw that God reigns. You and I will see eye to eye when the Lord shall bring again Zion. The church will come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of Jesus (Ephesians 4:13). Denominational doctrines and other false doctrines will be demolished. The true gospel will be preached--the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Ephesians 4:3-6 says that you and I shall endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace. There is one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. Also, there is one God and Father of all, who is above all, through all, and in all of us. Praise be to God!
