Isus A Fost Dovedit, Capitolul 12

Planul Lui Dumnezeu pentru împăcare trebuia să fi mers în Isus înainte de a putea să meargă în noi. Isus a trebuit să descopere fiecare aspect al planului Lui Dumnezeu. Habacuc 2:4 este un verset remarcabil, pentru că se referă la Isus:

Iată, i s-a îngâmfat sufletul, nu este fără prihană în el, dar cel neprihănit va trăi prin credința lui.

Sunt convins că Acesta este Isus. Țin minte când m-a pus Dumnezeu față în față cu acest verset. Acesta spune: “I s-a îngâmfat sufletul...nu este fără prihană în el: dar cel neprihănit va trăi prin credința lui” --credința în Tată.

Credința Lui Dumnezeu ce lucrează în Isus L-a lăsat pe Isus să lucreze la fiecare aspect al planului de împăcare.

Acum, împreună cu mine, mergeți la capitolul 3 din Matei. Țineți minte, Isus a mers în credință. El a fost un om ca voi și ca mine. El avea Duhul Lui--Duhul Lui Isus a fost cel al Fiului din ceruri. El a avut un suflet ca voi și ca mine și un trup ca voi și ca mine, dar El a avut Duhul Lui.

Isus A Făcut Plăcere Tatălui

Matei 3:13 începe:

Atunci a venit Isus din Galileea la Iordan, la Ioan, ca să fie botezat de el (v. 13).

Dar Ioan căuta să-L oprească. Eu, zicea el, am trebuință să fiu botezat de Tine, și Tu vii la mine (v. 14)?

Drept răspuns, Isus i-a zis: Lasă-Mă acum, căci așa se cade să împlinim tot ce trebuie împlinit. Atunci, Ioan L-a lăsat (v. 15).

Isus a fost botezat prin apă.

Versetul 16 continuă:

De îndată ce a fost botezat, Isus a ieșit din apă. Și, în clipa aceea, cerurile s-au deschis și a văzut pe Duhul lui Dumnezeu pogorându-Se în chip de porumbel și venind peste El:

Iar aici, Isus a fost botezat în Duhul Sfânt.

Iar apoi, versetul 17 spune:

Și din ceruri s-a auzit un glas, care zicea: ,,Acesta este Fiul Meu preaiubit, în care Îmi găsesc plăcerea”.

Dumnezeu a fost foarte mulțumit de Fiul Său.

Isus S-a Întors În Puterea Duhului

Matei 4:1 ne spune că Isus a fost trimis de Duh în pustie pentru a fi ispitit de diavol. Versetul 2 spune că Isus a posit patruzeci de zile și patruzeci de nopți.

Capitolul 4 din Luca este o descriere a aceluiași eveniment. Luca 4:1 spune că Isus a fost plin de Duhul Sfânt. El a fost trimis de Duh în pustie și, pe parcursul a patruzeci de zile, a postit. În Luca 4:14, El se întoarce în puterea Duhului Sfânt.

De la a merge ca Isus în carne, El a ajuns la a se întoarce în puterea Duhului Lui Dumnezeu. El nu a mers în Propria sa putere.

Psalmi 35:13 ne spune că Isus, la fel ca și voi și eu și toți oamenii, a trebuit să își smerească sufletul prin postire.

Sunt convins că Isus și-a smerit sufletul prin postire. Pe parcursul celor patruzeci de zile în pustie, Isus a învin diavolul. A învins lumea prin postire și rugăciune. În Ioan 16:33, Isus spune:

...În lume veți avea necazuri, dar îndrăzniți. Eu am biruit lumea.

Isus a învins lumea în sălbăticie prin postire și rugăciune. După ce a învins lumea, a ajuns pe cruce. A ajuns pe cruce, iar planul Lui Dumnezeu a început să fie împlinit.

Isus a Trebuit Să Fie Dovedit

V-am arătat în cărțile anterioare ce a înfăptuit Isus pe cruce. El și-a oferit trupul ca un sacrificiu viu. S-a oferit ca un miel, jertfit încă de la crearea lumii. S-a dus pe cruce și S-a lăsat răstignit. I-a lăsat pe oameni să Îl răstignească, altfel oamenii nu puteau să facă asta. El a murit, iar apoi a fost îngropat.

Uitați-vă la I Timotei 3:16:

Și, fără îndoială, mare este taina dumnezeirii... Cel ce a fost arătat în trup a fost dovedit neprihănit în Duhul, a fost văzut de îngeri, a fost propovăduit printre neamuri, a fost crezut în lume, a fost înălțat în slavă.

“a fost dovedit neprihănit în Duhul...” A trebuit ca Isus să fie dovedit. De ce? Pentru că El avea asupra Sa păcatele noastre. El a fost transformat în păcat pentru voi și pentru mine.

Isus încă a avut legea în inima Sa atunci când S-a dus în iad. El a trebuit să depășească legea. A trebuit să se confrunte cu trupul Său pe cruce. A murit, a fost îngropat și a coborât in iad.

După trei zile, S-a ridicat din nou din morți. Iar acum este așezat în partea dreaptă a Tatălui.

Isus a trebuit să fie dovedit în iad--în mormânt și a fost dovedit, prin credință, pentru voi și pentru mine.

Planul De Împăcare

Isus a trebuit să își dea singur seama de planul Lui Dumnezeu pentru a împăca oamenii cu El.

Primul lucru a fost că Dumnezeu a trebuit să ne ierte de toate păcatele noastre și să ne mântuiască. Să ne elibereze. Pentru a face asta, a fost nevoie de un schimb sau de o pedeapsă pentru acel păcat--adică de Isus. El a purtat păcatele noastre în trupul Său și a plătit pedeaspsa pentru păcat--moartea.

Al doilea lucru a fost să elimine legea. A trebuit să facă legea complet inactivă. A trebuit să elimine toată activitatea legii din viețile noastre. Altfel, noi am fi continuat să păcătuim.

Al treilea lucru pe care l-a făcut a fost să nimicească vrăjmășia sau dușmanul. A trebuit să răstignească omul vechi. Omul vechi este acel trup în care și voi și eu locuim. Trupurile noastre sunt niște trupuri de păcat. Singurul mod prin care ne putem confrunta cu ele este prin credință--prin a fi botezat cu apă în moartea Domnului Isus Hristos.

Al Patrulea lucre a fost că a desființat împărțirea în evrei și neamuri și El a făcut un singur trup--trupul Lui Hristos. Nu mai există rase între oameni. Niciodată nu au existat rase pentru Dumnezeu--numai evrei și neamuri. Nu exista rasa neagră, rasa alba sau rasa galbenă și acum nu mai există nici evrei sau neamuri. Există un singur trup și acesta este trupul Lui Hristos.

Al cincilea lucru pe care L-a făcut Isus a fost să predice pacea. A adus pace rasei umane și noi am putut astfel să fim împăcați cu Dumnezeu.

Pentru că Isus a făcut aceste lucruri, noi am putut să fim împăcați cu Dumnezeu. Putem acum merge în credință, în puterea Lui Isus Hristos înviat.

Putem merge chiar mai perfect decât a mers Adam înainte de cădere. Adam a trebuit să se lupte cu diavolul și a eșuat. Isus, pentru că El a murit, a fost îngropat și a înviat din nou, a învins tot ce nu a reușit să învingă Adam, iar noi acum putem să mergem în puterea Acelui Isus înviat.

Jesus Was Justified, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 12

God’s plan of reconciliation had to be worked out in Jesus before it could be worked out in us. Jesus had to work out each aspect of God’s plan. Habakkuk 2:4 is a remarkable verse, because it concerns Jesus:

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

I am convinced this is Jesus. I remember when God brought me face to face with this verse. It says, “His soul...is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith” --the faith of the Father.

The faith of God operating in Jesus enabled Jesus to work out each aspect of the plan of reconciliation.

Turn to Matthew chapter 3 with me. Remember, Jesus walked by faith. He was a man like you and I. He had His Spirit--the Spirit of Jesus was the Son from heaven. He had a soul like yours and mine and a body like yours and mine, but He had His Spirit.

Jesus Pleased the Father

Matthew 3:13 begins:

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him (v. 13).

But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me (v. 14)?

And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him (v. 15).

Jesus was baptized in water.

Verse 16 continues:

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Here, Jesus was baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Then, verse 17 says:

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

God was well pleased with His Son.

Jesus Returned in the Power of the Spirit

Matthew 4:1 tells us that Jesus was led of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Verse 2 says that Jesus fasted forty days and forty night.

Luke chapter 4 is an account of the same event. Luke 4:1 says that Jesus was full of the Holy Ghost. He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, and during those forty days, He fasted. In Luke 4:14, He returned in the power of the Holy Spirit.

He went from walking as Jesus in the flesh to returning in the power of the Spirit of God. He did not walk in His own ability.

Psalm 35:13 tells us that Jesus, as well as you and I and everyone else, had to humble His soul with fasting.

I am convinced that Jesus humbled His soul with fasting. During these forty days in the wilderness, Jesus overcame the devil. He overcame the world with fasting and prayer. In John 16:33, Jesus says:

...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jesus overcame the world in the wilderness by fasting and praying. After He had overcome the world, He came to the cross. When He came to the cross, God’s plan began to be fulfilled.

Jesus Had to be Justified

I have shown you in earlier books what Jesus accomplished on the cross. He presented His body a living sacrifice. He offered Himself a lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. He went to the cross and allowed Himself to be crucified. He permitted the people to crucify Him, or else they could not have done so. He died and was buried.

Look at I Timothy 3:16:

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

“Justified in the Spirit..” Jesus had to be justified. Why? Because He had our sins on Him. He was made sin for you and me.

Jesus still had the law in His heart when He went to hell. He had to overcome the law. He had to deal with His flesh on the cross. He died, was buried, and descended into hell.

After three days, He was raised again from the dead. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

Jesus had to be justified in hell--in the grave, and He was justified, through faith, for you and me.

The Plan of Reconciliation

Jesus had to work out in Himself God’s plan to reconcile man back to Him.

First, God had to forgive us of our sins and redeem us. Loose us away. To do that, there had to be a substitute and a penalty for that sin--and that was Jesus. He bore our sins in His body; and He paid the penalty for sin--death.

Second, He had to abolish the law. He had to make the law thoroughly inactive. He had to remove all of the activity of the law in our lives. Otherwise, we would continue in sin.

Third, He had to slay the enmity, or the enemy. He had to crucify the old man. The old man is that body that you and I live in. Our body is a body of sin. The only way that we can deal with it is by faith--by being baptized through water into the death of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Fourth, He did away with Jew and Gentile, and He made one body--the body of Christ. There are no more races of people. There never were with God--only Jews and Gentiles. There is no black race, no white race, and no yellow race, and there are no longer Jews and Gentiles. There is one body, and that is Christ.

The fifth thing Jesus did was preach peace to us. He brought peace to the human race, and we are able to be reconciled to God.

Because Jesus did these things, we can be reconciled to God. We can walk by faith, in the power of the resurrected Jesus Christ.

We can walk even more perfectly than Adam walked before the fall. Adam had to contend with the devil, and he failed. Jesus, because He died, was buried, and rose again, overcame everything that Adam succumbed to, and we can walk in the power of that resurrected Jesus.
