La Importancia De La Fe Que Vine Por El Oír El Evangelio
La fe es una necesidad para creer u obedecer, la Palabra de Dios. ¿Cómo obtengo fe?
La fe viene por creer en el evangelio. Romanos 10:17 dice que la fe viene por el oír y el oír viene de la Palabra de Dios. Si tú quieres oír y creer la Palabra de Dios, tú tienes que oír el evangelio.
Mira en Romanos 10:16:
16 Pero no todos obedecieron al evangelio, pues Isaías dice: «Señor, ¿quién ha creído a nuestro anuncio?
La Palabra de Dios que tienes que oír es el evangelio. Sin embargo, no todos creen el evangelio. Quiero que veas que obedecer el evangelio y creer el evangelio son lo mismo.
La fe viene por creer el evangelio. La fe no viene por tener una confesión positiva de la Palabra de Dios. El hecho de que te confieses a ti mismo ser justo, perdonado o prospero no hace que tu confesión se manifieste.
Si tú crees que Jesús murió, fue enterrado y resucitó el tercer día, tú crees en el evangelio. Si Jesús es Señor de tú vida, tú vas a servirlo con tu espíritu en el evangelio. Si tú crees el evangelio, tú vas a obedecer el evangelio.
Si tú no obedeces el evangelio, no crees en el. Déjame recalcar que si tú obedeces el evangelio, ¡tú crees que Jesús murió, fue enterrado y resucitó el tercer día!
¿Tú sabes lo que dice Pablo en Filipenses 3:5 y 6? Él dice que, él en cuanto a la Ley, fariseo; en cuanto a la justicia que se basa en la Ley, el era irreprochable.
Entonces él dice en versos 8-10:
8 Y ciertamente, aun estimo todas las cosas como pérdida por la excelencia del conocimiento de Cristo Jesús, mi Señor. Por amor a él lo he perdido todo y lo tengo por basura, para ganar a Cristo
9 y ser hallado en él, no teniendo mi propia justicia, que se basa en la Ley, sino la que se adquiere por la fe en Cristo, la justicia que procede de Dios y se basa en la fe.
10 Quiero conocerlo a él y el poder de su resurrección, y participar de sus padecimientos hasta llegar a ser semejante a él en su muerte.
¿Tú conoces a Jesús? ¿Tú conoces el poder de Su resurrección, el cual Dios trabajó en Cristo cuando Él lo resucitó de entre los muertos? ¿Tú conoces ese poder? O ¿Simplemente has oído hablar de Jesús?
¿O sólo conoces a un Jesús religioso, cuyos cuadros o estatúas viste en tu iglesia, que tenía una corona de espinas en la cabeza, algo anémico, carcomido, débil, pálido, en una imagen que ellos llaman Jesús? Bueno, mi amigo, tú necesitas leer el evangelio.
Lee Isaías, capítulo 52 y 53. Lee los Salmos 22, 88 y 89. Ve si encuentras en esas páginas a Jesús como se ve en el cuadro que tienen colgado en tu iglesia.
Entonces ve a Jesús resucitado en los primeros tres capítulos de Apocalipsis. Ve si tú puedes encontrar a tu religioso Jesús descrito ahí, como Él se reveló asimismo al apóstol Juan. ¿Él se ve como el cuadro que está colgado en tu iglesia?
Tú te harás un favor si te libras de ese cuadro ridículo. No es el Cristo. Es producción del hombre, hecho para vender y tener ganancia.
No seas engañado. La fe no viene por obedecer la ley. La fe no viene por: "No codiciaras". La fe no viene por: "No cometerás adulterio". La fe no viene por: "No dirás falso testimonio". La fe no viene por: "Honraras a tu padre y madre".
La fe viene por creer que Jesús murió, fue enterrado, resucitó en el tercer día y que Él ascendió al cielo. Él está sentado ahí hoy, intercediendo por ti.
Tú estás sentado ahí [en lugares celestiales] con Cristo Jesús (Efesios 2:6), y tú estás bendecido con toda las bendiciones espirituales en los lugares celestiales (Efesios 1:3). Oye y cree en esto. Ese es el modo como la fe viene.

The Importance Of Faith That Comes By Hearing The Gospel
Faith is necessary to believe, or obey, the Word of God. How do you get faith?
Faith comes by believing the gospel. Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes by the Word of God. If you want to hear and believe God’s Word, you will have to hear the gospel.
Look at Romans 10:16:
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
The Word of God that you must hear is the gospel. However, not everyone believes the gospel. I want you to see that obeying the gospel and believing the gospel are the same.
Faith comes by believing the gospel. Faith does not come by having a positive confession of God’s Word. Just because you confess yourself righteous, forgiven, or prosperous does not make your confession come to pass.
If you believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day, you believe the gospel. If Jesus is Lord of your life, you will serve Him with your spirit in the gospel. If you believe the gospel, you will obey the gospel.
If you do not obey the gospel, you do not believe it. Let me emphasize that if you obey the gospel, you believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day!
Do you know what Paul says in Philippians 3:5 and 6? He says that he was a Pharisee and that touching the righteousness which is in the law, he was blameless. Then he says in verses 8-10:
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ (v.8),
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith (v.9):
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (v.10).
Do you know Jesus? Do you know the power of His resurrection which God worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead? Do you know that power? Or have you merely heard of Jesus?
Do you just know some religious Jesus whose picture or statue you saw in your church--one that had a crown of thorns on His head--an anemic, wormy, weak, pale-looking thing in a picture that they called Jesus? Well, my friend, you need to read the gospel.
Read Isaiah, chapters 52 and 53. Read Psalms 22, 88, and 89. See if you can find on those pages the Jesus that looks like the picture hanging in your church.
Then look at the resurrected Jesus in the first three chapters of Revelation. See if you can find your religious Jesus described there as He revealed himself to the apostle John. Does He look like that picture hanging in your church?
You would do yourself a favor if you got rid of that ridiculous picture. It is not Christ. It is man’s product, made to sell for a profit.
Do not be deceived. Faith does not come by obeying the law. Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt not covet.” Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt not bear false witness.” Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt honor thy father and mother.”
Faith comes by believing that Jesus died, was buried, rose again on the third day, and that He ascended into heaven. He is seated there today, making intercession for you.
You are seated there [in heaven] in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6), and you are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3). Hear and believe that. That is the way faith comes.
