Ieremia, capitolul 4, și Geneza, capitolul 1, m-au ajutat cu adevărat să înțeleg omul preistoric și toate rămășițele vieții animale care au fost descoperite.
Mereu am crezut că e prea naiv să cred că omul și cerurile și pământul au existat numai de 5000 de ani. Nu am putut niciodată să înțeleg asta. M-am gândit, dacă Dumnezeu a fost de la începuturi--dacă El este începutul și sfârșitul, de ce nu s-a întâmplat nimic până acum 5000 de ani?
Dacă studiați scriptura cu o inimă sinceră și cu o dorință de a-L înțelege și cunoaște pe Dumnezeu, El vă va revela adevăruri despre El--misterele regatului Domnului. El vă va revela până și misterele din trecut ale Lui Dumnezeu.
Originea Omului
Fără excepție, comunitatea științifică a ignorat Biblia ca și Cuvânt al Lui Dumnezeu. Pe lângă aceasta, comunitatea științifică a ignorat și tot ce e scris în Biblie referitor la originea și funcțiile vieții animale, inclusiv a omului.
Mergeți la Geneza 2:7:
Atunci Domnul Dumnezeu l-a modelat pe om din țărâna pământului și a suflat în nările lui suflare de viață, iar omul a devenit un suflet viu.
Aici avem originea omului. Dumnezeu “l-a modelat pe om din țărâna pământului”. Comunitatea științifică a ignorant această parte.
Ieremia 1:5 spune:
Înainte să te fi creat în pântecele mamei tale, te cunoșteam;...
Pentru informația voastră, formarea copilului nu începe în săptămâna 12 sau 14 sau 16. Formarea sa începe încă de la concepție.
Funcțiile Animalelor
Nu voi intra în dezbaterea ce se petrece acum în comunitatea creștină legată de evoluție și creație, pentru că nimeni nu câștigă, toată lumea pierde și nimeni nu știe despre ce vorbește, oricum. Tot ce voi face va fi să vă arăt niște versete despre funcțiile animalelor.
Mai întâi, uitați-vă la Psalmi 29:9:
Glasul Domnului face căprioarele să fete;...
Când va naște un animal? Atunci când Domnul vorbește.
Acum, împreună cu mine, mergeți la Psalmi 104: 21:
Puii de leu rag de foame, cerându-și hrana de la Dumnezeu.
V-ați gândit vreodată că un leu sălbatic caută mâncare de la Dumnezeu? Mâncatul este o funcție a animalelor.
Cum funcționează oamenii? Faptele Apostolilor 17:27-28 ne spun:
Pentru ca ei să-L caute pe Dumnezeu și, poate, să-L și găsească, în timp ce bâjbâie după El, măcar că nu este depare de niciunul dintre noi (v. 27):
Căci în El trăim, ne mișcăm și existăm (v. 28);...
“Că în El trăim, ne mișcăm și existăm.” Aici avem un scurt curs în fiziologie.
...sau, așa cum au spus și unii dintre poeții voștri: Căci și noi suntem urmașii Lui (v. 28).
Originea omului ne spune că noi suntem urmașii Lui Dumnezeu.
Faptele Apostolilor 17:29 continuă:
Deci, dacă suntem urmașii lui Dumnezeu, n-ar trebui să ne gândim că dumezeirea este asemenea aurului sau argintului sau pietrei, o imagine făcută prin îndemânarea și gândirea omului.
Biblia conține fiecare răspuns pe care l-am dorit vreodată. Răspunsul la fiecare dintre întrebările mele este scris în paginile Bibliei. Problema pe care am avut-o a fost să cred că Biblia este adevărată.
Fiecare Făptură Potrivită Felului Său
În Geneza 1:24, după cea de-a cincea zi:
Dumnezeu a zis: “Să dea pământul viețuitoare, potrivit felurilor lor: vite, animale mici și animale sălbatice, fiecare potrivit felurilor lor!” Și așa a și fost.
“Și așa a și fost” și așa a rămas până astăzi. Oamenii de știință au încercat să împerecheze specii diferite de animale de secole și nu pot face asta. Poți pune specii diferite de animale în același loc și acestea nu se vor reproduce.
Singurele animale din specii diferite care se pot reproduce sunt un cal și un măgar, dar urmașul lor, catârul, este steril și oamenii de știință nu au văzut niciodată pe vreunul reproducându-se.
Biblia este absolut corectă și a fost așa încă de la Adam încoace, deci de mai bine de 5000 de ani.
Geneza 1:25 continuă:
Dumnezeu a făcut animalele sălbatice, potrivit felurilor lor, vitele, potrivit felurilor lor și toate animalele mici care mișună pe pământ, potrivit felurilor lor. Dumezeu a văzut că acest lucru era bun.
Dumnezeu a văzut că acesta era un lucru bun--că animalele se reproduc numai potrivit felului lor și a văzut că animalele pe care El le-a creat au fost bune. Nu a făcut unele animale care să Îi placă mai mult decât altele--și pe toate le-a considerat bune.
Scheletele De Cai Mici
Am crescut într-o familie care am înțeles că include patru generații de călăreți, inclusiv eu. Așa că am cunoscut caii atunci când am mers la Școala de Medicină Veterinară din Universitatea Missouri în 1958.
Când eram la școală, am observant și am lucrat cu rămășițe de schelete mici ce se presupunea că erau ale unor cai preistorici. Acești așa-numiți cai aveau patru proeminențe ca niște gheare sau ca niște degete la picioarele din față. Oamenii de știință credeau că aceste schelete aveau mii de ani vechime, poate chiar 50.000 de ani.
Profesorii de la școală mi-au spus că aceste patru “degete” au evoluat--că două dintre “degete” au dispărut pur și simplu, că un alt “deget” s-a mutat în spatele călcâiului și a devenit o proiecție rudimentară, ca un boț, și că “degetul” din mijloc a devenit cel care duce greutatea--copita, variind de la doi la doisprezece inch în diametru ( 5-30 cm), în funcție de dimensiunea calului.
M-am uitat la aceste schelete și mi-am spus: “Nu se poate ca acești cai pe care îi cunosc eu în ziua de azi să fi arătat ca acest câine.” Ghearele acelor schelete arătau ca și ghearele unui câine. Conform profesorilor, totuși, “degetul” din mijloc a crescut pe parcursul anilor--presupun că s-au gândit că din cauza fugitului pe stânci sau pe alte suprafețe mai dure, două “degete” au căzut și al patrulea “deget” s-a mutat și s-a micșorat până de devenit un boț.
Am fost foarte uimit să mă gândesc că oamenii educați pot crede asta. Fiind a patra generație de călăreți, nu am putut accepta ce spun și m-am gândit că nu mă pot influența. Patru ani de zile când am fost în școală m-am plimbat pe lângă aceste mici schelete, totuși, și în fiecare zi diavolul mi-a spus: “Uită-te la ele.”
Acele spirite au fost trimise pentru mine și au fost atât de puternice și de subtile, încât nici măcar nu am înțeles ce se petrece. Totuși, într-un final am început să mă îndepărtez de ele.
Am văzut eu singur acele schelete. Se credea că aveau mult mai mult de 5000 de ani. Știam din Biblie că pământul avea în jur de 5000 de ani. Așa că a trebuit să iau o decizie.
Evolution And Science, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 3 Part 1
Understanding Jeremiah chapter 4 and Genesis chapter 1 actually helps me to understand prehistoric man and all the remains of ancient animal life that have been discovered.
I always thought it was narrow-minded to think that man and heaven and earth had only existed for 5000 or so years. I could never understand that. I thought, if God was from the beginning--if He is the beginning and the end, why did nothing happen until 5000 years ago?
If you study scripture with a sincere heart and a desire to understand and know God, He will reveal to you the truths about Himself--the mysteries of the kingdom of God. He will even reveal the mysteries of God from the past.
The Origin of Man
Without exception, the scientific community has ignored the Bible a the Word of God. In addition, the scientific community has ignored what is recorded in the Bible concerning the origin and functions of animal life, including man.
Turn to Genesis 2:7:
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Here is the origin of man. God “formed man of the dust of the ground.” The scientific community has ignored this statement.
Jeremiah 1:5 says:
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;...
For your information, formation does not begin at the twelfth or fourteenth or sixteenth week. Formation begins at conception.
The Functions of Animals
I am not going to enter the debate that goes on in the Christian community over evolution and creation, because nobody wins, everybody loses, and nobody knows what they are talking about, anyhow. All I am going to do is show you some verses about the functions of animals.
First, look at Psalm 29:9:
The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve,...
When is an animal going to give birth? When the Lord speaks.
Now, turn to Psalm 104:21 with me:
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
Have you ever considered that a wild lion seeks food from God? Eating is an animal function.
How do men function? Acts 17:27-28 says:
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us (v. 27):
For in him we live, and move, and have our being (v. 28);...
“In him we live, and move, and have our being.” Right there is a short course in physiology.
...as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring (v. 28).
The origin of man is that we are offspring of God.
Acts 17:29 continues:
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
The Bible contains every answer I ever wanted. The answer to every one of my questions is written on the pages of the Bible. The problem I had was believing that the Bible is true.
Every Creature After His Kind
In Genesis 1:24, following the fifth day:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
“It was so,” and it remains so today. Scientists have been trying to cross-breed species of animals for centuries, and they cannot. You can put different species in the same paddock, and they will not reproduce.
The only animals of different species that can reproduce are a horse and an ass, and their offspring, the mule, is sterile, and scientists have never recorded that mules have reproduced.
The Bible is absolutely accurate, and it has been so since Adam, which was some 5000 years ago.
Genesis 1:25 continues:
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
God saw that it was so--that animals reproduce only after their own kind, and He saw that the animals that He made were good. He did not make some that He liked more than others--He called them all good.
Skeletons of Little Horses
I grew up in a family that I have been told includes four generations of horsemen, counting myself. So, I was not unfamiliar with horses when I entered the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine in 1958.
While I was at school, I observed and handled small skeletal remains of what were supposed to be prehistoric horses. These so-called horses had four clawlike projections, like toes, on their front legs. Scientists thought that the skeletons were several thousand years old, perhaps as many as 50,000 years old.
The professors at school told me that these four “toes” had evolved--that two of the “toes” had dropped off and disappeared altogether, that another “toe” had moved to the back of the ankle and became a rudimentary, knoblike projection, and that the middle “toe” had become the weight-bearing digit--the hoof, varying from two to twelve inches in diameter, depending on the size of the horse.
I looked at those skeletons, and I said to myself, “The horses I know today couldn’t have looked like this dog.” The claws on those skeletons looked like a dog’s claw. According to the professors, however, the middle “toe” grew over the years--I suppose they thought it was from years of running on rocks or other hard surfaces, two “toes” fell off, and the fourth “toe” moved and shrank to a small knob.
I was amazed that educated men could believe that. Being a fourth generation horseman, I could not accept what they said, and I thought that they had not influenced me. I walked past those little skeletons for four years at school, however, and every day the devil would tell me, “Look at them.”
Those spirits were ministered to me, and they were so strong and subtle that I did not even realize what was happening. I have finally started being delivered from them, however.
I saw those skeletons myself. They were believed to be much older than 5000 years. I knew from the Bible that the earth was about 5000 years old. So I had to make a decision.
