I write this to encourage you for any present situation you may be in.
I have learned not to put my trust in the flesh as God instructs in Psalm 146-3
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
But to put my trust is God and Jesus alone and to pour out my heart before him,
Psalm 62-8
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
All of us have experienced tribulations and one key way out is to give him thanks and praise continually.
Psalm 146-2
2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
I am not in the habit of telling anyone my afflictions or tribulations as I am keenly aware they cannot help or get me out as my help comes from God alone. I can count on two fingers those that know many years of my past trials and overcoming’s. Sometimes God has had me in situations to deal with my pride or old man to refine me and change me into the image of his son. Other times it is to overcome one more power or principality or ruler in satan’s kingdom. (I am laughing as spell correct tells me to capitalize the S for satan. BS he gets a small s in my book) LOL. This is all for my sanctification and yours to learn to die to yourself and to live unto Jesus. It has all been his mercy, longsuffing and goodness towards me.
As Paul understood in writing to the Galatians. It is all for him to live move and have our entire existence walking in the spirit with Jesus and the Father and being a doer of the word and the works he has ordained for us.
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
As I was pouring my heart tonight due to some adversity against me to the Lord he spoke this to encouragement
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
I want to encourage you to fight the good fight of faith, continually offer thanks and praise to him and he will not fail you and will bring you out. Humble yourselves as it is for your benefit if you are serious about being conformed into the image of Jesus and be the salt of the earth and light to the world in these troubled times.
Do you want the crown of life? Or just give lip service? I know I want and expect that crown! It is with his help and working through me to see all that he has promised me. I pray the same for you also. God knows what you are going through, Jesus is interceding for you and he is knows how to pray! Believe on him and the work he did and he will bring you through the fire. I have had the waters up to my neck many times and God is always faithful to see me through. I say this from experience from overcoming things in my body, at work to life in general and my enemies being put to shame. He will do the same for you.
Father, strengthen your people now and for the days ahead!
God bless you and keep you and may you come to know the fullness of Jesus Christ and God the Father.
