3. JESÚS ES EL JUEZ
Génesis 18
1 Jehová se le apareció a Abraham en el encinar de Mamre, estando él sentado a la puerta de su tienda, a la hora de más calor.
2 Alzó los ojos y vio a tres varones que estaban junto a él. Al verlos salió corriendo de la puerta de su tienda a recibirlos, se postró en tierra
16 Los varones se levantaron de allí y miraron hacia Sodoma, y Abraham iba con ellos, acompañándolos.
17 Jehová dijo: «¿Encubriré yo a Abraham lo que voy a hacer,
18 habiendo de ser Abraham una nación grande y fuerte y habiendo de ser benditas en él todas las naciones de la tierra?,
19 pues yo sé que mandará a sus hijos, y a su casa después de sí, que guarden el camino de Jehová haciendo justicia y juicio, para que haga venir Jehová sobre Abraham lo que ha hablado acerca de él.»
20 Entonces Jehová le dijo:—Por cuanto el clamor contra Sodoma y Gomorra aumenta más y más y su pecado se ha agravado en extremo,
21 descenderé ahora y veré si han consumado su obra según el clamor que ha llegado hasta mí; y si no, lo sabré.
22 Se apartaron de allí los varones y fueron hacia Sodoma; pero Abraham permaneció delante de Jehová.
23 Se acercó Abraham y le dijo:—¿Destruirás también al justo con el impío?
24 Quizá haya cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad: ¿destruirás y no perdonarás a aquel lugar por amor a los cincuenta justos que estén dentro de él?
25 Lejos de ti el hacerlo así, que hagas morir al justo con el impío y que el justo sea tratado como el impío. ¡Nunca tal hagas! El Juez de toda la tierra, ¿no ha de hacer lo que es justo?
Juan 5
22 porque el Padre a nadie juzga, sino que todo el juicio dio al Hijo,
23 para que todos honren al Hijo como honran al Padre. El que no honra al Hijo no honra al Padre, que lo envió.
24 »De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que oye mi palabra y cree al que me envió tiene vida eterna, y no vendrá a condenación, sino que ha pasado de muerte a vida.
25 De cierto, de cierto os digo: Viene la hora, y ahora es, cuando los muertos oirán la voz del Hijo de Dios, y los que la oigan vivirán.
26 Como el Padre tiene vida en sí mismo, así también ha dado al Hijo el tener vida en sí mismo;
27 y, además, le dio autoridad de hacer juicio, por cuanto es el Hijo del hombre.
Juan 12
47 Al que oye mis palabras y no las guarda, yo no lo juzgo, porque no he venido a juzgar al mundo, sino a salvar al mundo.
48 El que me rechaza y no recibe mis palabras, tiene quien lo juzgue: la palabra que he hablado, ella lo juzgará en el día final.
Romanos 14
10 Tú, pues ¿por qué juzgas a tu hermano? O tú también, ¿por qué menosprecias a tu hermano?, porque todos compareceremos ante el tribunal de Cristo,
11 pues escrito está: «Vivo yo, dice el Señor, que ante mí se doblará toda rodilla,
y toda lengua confesará a Dios.»

2 Corintios 5
10 porque es necesario que todos nosotros comparezcamos ante el tribunal de Cristo, para que cada uno reciba según lo que haya hecho mientras estaba en el cuerpo, sea bueno o sea malo.

Isaías 11
1 Saldrá una vara del tronco de Isaí; un vástago retoñará de sus raíces

3 Y le hará entender diligente en el temor de Jehová.No juzgará según la vista de sus ojosni resolverá por lo que oigan sus oídos,
4 sino que juzgará con justicia a los pobresy resolverá con equidad a favor de los mansos de la tierra.Herirá la tierra con la vara de su bocay con el espíritu de sus labios matará al impío.
5 Y será la justicia cinto de sus caderas, y la fidelidad ceñirá su cintura.

4. NIVELES DE JUICIO
Mateo 11
15 El que tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
16 Pero ¿a qué compararé esta generación? Es semejante a los muchachos que se sientan en las plazas y gritan a sus compañeros,
17 diciendo: “Os tocamos flauta y no bailasteis; os entonamos canciones de duelo y no llorasteis”,
18 porque vino Juan, que ni comía ni bebía, y dicen: “Demonio tiene.”
19 Vino el Hijo del hombre, que come y bebe, y dicen: “Éste es un hombre comilón y bebedor de vino, amigo de publicanos y pecadores.” Pero la sabiduría es justificada por sus hijos.»
20 Entonces comenzó a reconvenir a las ciudades en las cuales había hecho muchos de sus milagros, porque no se habían arrepentido, diciendo:
21 «¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida!, porque si en Tiro y en Sidón se hubieran hecho los milagros que han sido hechos en vosotras, tiempo ha que en vestidos ásperos y ceniza se habrían arrepentido.
22 Por tanto os digo que en el día del juicio será más tolerable el castigo para Tiro y para Sidón que para vosotras.
23 Y tú, Capernaúm, que eres levantada hasta el cielo, hasta el Hades serás abatida, porque si en Sodoma se hubieran hecho los milagros que han sido hechos en ti, habría permanecido hasta el día de hoy.
24 Por tanto os digo que en el día del juicio será más tolerable el castigo para la tierra de Sodoma que para ti.»
Lucas 12
47 »Aquel siervo que, conociendo la voluntad de su señor, no se preparó ni hizo conforme a su voluntad, recibirá muchos azotes.
48 Pero el que sin conocerla hizo cosas dignas de azotes, será azotado poco, porque a todo aquel a quien se haya dado mucho, mucho se le demandará, y al que mucho se le haya confiado, más se le pedirá.
Juan 19
10 Entonces le dijo Pilato:—¿A mí no me hablas? ¿No sabes que tengo autoridad para crucificarte y autoridad para soltarte?
11 Respondió Jesús:—Ninguna autoridad tendrías contra mí si no te fuera dada de arriba; por tanto, el que a ti me ha entregado, mayor pecado tiene.
Salmo 103
8 Misericordioso y clemente es Jehová;lento para la ira y grande en misericordia.
9 No contenderá para siempreni para siempre guardará el enojo.
10 No ha hecho con nosotros conforme a nuestras maldades ni nos ha pagado conforme a nuestros pecados,

3. JESUS IS THE JUDGE
Genesis 18
1 And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
16 And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
20 And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord.
23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
John 5
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

4. DEGREES OF JUDGMENT
Matthew 11
15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
Luke 12
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
John 19
10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
Psalm 103
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
