5. EL BAUTISMO DE SUFRIMIENTO
El Bautismo de sufrimiento, la prueba de nuestra fe en aflicción, persecución y sufrimiento. Después que Jesús fue ungido y lleno del Espíritu Santo, Él fue llevado por el Espíritu al desierto para ser tentado por satanás. Cuando Él regresó del desierto, regresó en el poder del Espíritu. Nosotros también, si vamos a ser discípulos de Jesús seremos guiados a hacer lo mismo.
Lucas 4
1 Jesús, lleno del Espíritu Santo, volvió del Jordán y fue llevado por el Espíritu al desierto
2 por cuarenta días, y era tentado por el diablo. No comió nada en aquellos días, pasados los cuales tuvo hambre.
13 Cuando acabó toda tentación el diablo, se apartó de él por un tiempo.
14 Jesús volvió en el poder del Espíritu a Galilea, y se difundió su fama por toda la tierra de alrededor.
15 Enseñaba en las sinagogas de ellos y era glorificado por todos.
Mateo 4
1 Entonces Jesús fue llevado por el Espíritu al desierto para ser tentado por el diablo.

23 Él les dijo:—A la verdad, de mi vaso beberéis, y con el bautismo con que yo soy bautizado seréis bautizados; pero el sentaros a mi derecha y a mi izquierda no es mío darlo, sino a aquellos para quienes está preparado por mi Padre.
Mateo 3
11 Yo a la verdad os bautizo en agua para arrepentimiento, pero el que viene tras mí, cuyo calzado yo no soy digno de llevar, es más poderoso que yo. Él os bautizará en Espíritu Santo y fuego.
2 Corintios 1
5 Así como abundan en nosotros las aflicciones de Cristo, así abunda también por el mismo Cristo nuestra consolación.
6 Pero si somos atribulados es para vuestra consolación y salvación; o si somos consolados es para vuestra consolación y salvación, la cual se realiza en el sufrir las mismas aflicciones que nosotros también padecemos.
7 Y nuestra esperanza respecto de vosotros es firme, pues sabemos que así como sois compañeros en las aflicciones, también lo sois en la consolación.
Filipenses 3
10 Quiero conocerlo a él y el poder de su resurrección, y participar de sus padecimientos hasta llegar a ser semejante a él en su muerte,

5. BAPTISM OF SUFFERING
The Baptism of suffering, the trial of our faith in affliction, persecution, and suffering. After Jesus was anointed and full of the Holy Ghost, he was driven by that Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. When he returned from the wilderness he returned in the power of the Spirit. We also, if we are to be disciples of Jesus will be led to do the same.
Luke 4
1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
Matthew 4
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
Matthew 3
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
