Tăria Duhului
Isus a spus câteva lucruri când El era pe cruce. Aceste lucruri demonstrează tăria Duhului din acest om, Isus. Proverbe 18:14 spune:
Duhul omului îl încurajează când este bolnav, dar cine poate sprijini un duh zdrobit?
Isus nu a avut un Duh zdrobit.
Creștinii cu Duhuri Zdrobite
Cineva a spus că predicatorii Americani sunt întotdeauna "majori între minori și minori între majori." Predicatorii nu știu despre ce vorbesc atunci când vă spun despre ce poate și ce nu poate să aibă un Creștin.
Ieri seară îl ascultam pe unul dintre ei. Vorbea despre duhul unui om care s-a alăturat Domnului. Acest predicator a spus că nimic nu se poate întâmpla Duhului unui Creștin. El a citat I Corinteni 6:17: "Dar cel ce se alipeşte de Domnul este un singur duh cu El."
Am o întrebare pentru aceia care spun că nimic nu se poate întâmpla duhului unui om: Ați întâlnit un Creștin cu duhul zdrobit? Eu am întâlnit – mulți dintre ei. Dumnezeu îi vindecă, totuși.
II Corinteni 7:1 spune:
… să ne curăţim de orice pângăreşte trupul şi duhul,…
Potrivit acestui verset, duhul vostru se poate murdări.
I Tesaloniceni 5:23 spune:
… Mă rog Domnului ca întregul vostru duh și suflet și trup să fie păstrate fără prihană…
Duhul vostru trebuie să fie păstrat fără prihană. Nu are legătură cu scriptura dacă spui că nimic nu se poate întâmpla duhului unui Creștin.
Dumnezeu le vorbește predicatorilor: Trebuie să știi Biblia înainte de a începe să propovăduiești. Trebuie să studiați Biblia și să nu faceți afirmații de genul acesta. Și voi și eu știm că Creștinii pot avea duhuri zdrobite. Am văzut congregații întregi rănite de lucruri rele făcute prin spirite rele.

Strength Of His Spirit
Jesus made several statements while He was on the cross. These statements demonstrate the strength of the Spirit in that man, Jesus. Proverbs 18:14 says:
The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
Jesus did not have a wounded Spirit.
Christians With Wounded Spirits
Someone said American preachers are always “majoring in minors and minoring in majors.” Preachers do not know what they are talking about when they tell you what a Christian can or cannot have.
I was listening to one the other night. He was talking about the spirit of a man who is joined to the Lord. This preacher said that nothing could happen to a Christian’s spirit. He quoted I Corinthians 6:17: “He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”
I have a question for those of you who say that nothing can happen to a person’s spirit: Have you ever met a Christian with a wounded spirit? I have—many of them. God heals them, though.
II Corinthians 7:1 says:
…let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,…
According to this verse, your spirit can be made filthy.
I Thessalonians 5:23 says:
…I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless…
Your spirit has to be kept blameless. It is unscriptural to say that nothing can happen to the spirit of a Christian.
God is speaking to preachers: You need to know the Bible before you start preaching. You need to study the Bible and not make statements like that. You and I both know that Christians can have wounded spirits. I have seen entire congregations wounded by the evil works done by evil spirits.
