16 Isus le explică: „Învăţătura pe care o predau eu nu este a mea, ci a celui care m-a trimis. Dacă vrea cineva să facă voinţa Sa, va şti dacă această învăţătură este de la Dumnezeu sau dacă eu vorbesc de la mine.” Ioan 7:16, 17

I. SCRIPTURILE

Biblia este Cuvântul inspirat al lui Dumnezeu, rodul Oamenilor Sfinți care au vorbit și au scris atunci când au fost mânați de Duhul Sfânt. De asemenea, Duhul lui Hristos a mărturisit prin prooroci, înainte de venirea Sa, despre suferințele Sale și harul care avea să vină. Scripturile rămân pentru totdeauna și nu pot fi distruse. Noul Legământ, așa cum este proorocit în Vechiul Testament și înregistrat în Noul Testament, este acceptat de către noi ca ghid ce nu dă greș în aspecte legate de comportament și de doctrină. Această doctrină, doctrina lui Isus, nu a fost a Sa, ci a Tatălui.

16 Toată Scriptura este insuflată de Dumnezeu şi de folos ca să înveţe, să mustre, să îndrepte, să dea înţelepciune în neprihănire,

13 De aceea mulţumim fără încetare lui Dumnezeu că, atunci când aţi primit Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu auzit de la noi, l-aţi primit nu ca pe cuvântul oamenilor, ci, aşa cum şi este în adevăr, ca pe Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu, care lucrează şi în voi care credeţi.

21 Căci nicio prorocie n-a fost adusă prin voia omului; ci oamenii au vorbit de la Dumnezeu, mânaţi de Duhul Sfânt.

10 Prorocii, care au prorocit despre harul care vă era păstrat vouă, au făcut dinmântuirea aceasta ţinta cercetărilor şi căutării lor stăruitoare.

12 Lor le-a fost descoperit că nu pentru ei înşişi, ci pentru voi spuneau ei aceste lucruri pe care vi le-au vestit acum cei ce v-au propovăduit Evanghelia prin Duhul Sfânt trimis din cer şi în care chiar îngerii doresc să privească.

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. John 7:16,17

I. THE SCRIPTURES

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of Holy Men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Also, the Spirit of Christ testified in the prophets before his coming of his sufferings and the grace that would come. The scriptures abide forever and cannot be broken. The New Covenant as prophesied in the Old Testament and recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. This doctrine, the doctrine of Jesus, was not his but the Father’s.

2 Timothy 3

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

1 Thessalonians 2

13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

2 Peter 1

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

I Peter 1
