EL EVANGLIO ES SIEMPRE UNA BENDICIÓN, por Doyle Davidson Capítulo 8
¡El Evangelio es “Sí”!
Tú acabas de ver que el evangelio es siempre una bendición. En este capítulo, te voy a enseñar que lo contrarío a tu enseñanza religiosa, el evangelio es siempre “sí”.
Mira en 2 Corintios 1:17:
17 Así que, al proponerme esto, ¿actué precipitadamente? O lo que pienso hacer, ¿lo pienso según la carne, para que haya en mí «sí» y «no»?
Pablo preguntó: “¿Lo pienso según la carne, para que haya en mi sí y no?
¿Lo entendiste? La Palabra de Dios no es “sí y no”. ¡Escucha la Biblia! El evangelio es siempre “sí”.
Enseñanza Carnal
Si a ti te han enseñado que las respuestas en el evangelio son “sí o no”, o “sí y no”, a ti te han enseñado la enseñanza carnal. Cuando por primera vez entre al desierto carismático, este evangelio de “sí y no” se enseñaba comúnmente: “Dios contesta sí y no, espera y no ahora, y tal vez”.
Ese no es el evangelio. Eso es predicación carnal. La predicación carnal predica “sí y no”. El evangelio es “sí”, siempre “sí”. Te enseñaré esto.
Mira en 2 Corintios 1:18-20:
18 Pero como Dios es fiel, nuestra palabra a vosotros no es «sí» y «no»,
19 porque el Hijo de Dios, Jesucristo, que entre vosotros ha sido predicado por nosotros —por mí, Silvano y Timoteo—, no ha sido «sí» y «no», sino solamente «sí» en él,
20 porque todas las promesas de Dios son en él «sí», y en él «Amén», por medio de nosotros, para la gloria de Dios.
El evangelio de “sí y no” les da una ruta de escape a los predicadores religiosos por su duda e incredulidad. Si crees el evangelio, todas las promesas de Dios serán “sí” y “así sea” en Cristo para ti.
Las Promesas de Dios son “Sí”
Todas las promesas de Dios son “sí” en Cristo. Es simple. ¡La respuesta es “sí”! Entonces, si tú oras de acuerdo a las escrituras y crees en Dios, tú siempre sabrás lo que va a pasar.
Si tú oras para recibir a Cristo y crees en Él, tú vas a recibirlo. Si tú oras para recibir el bautismo en el Espíritu Santo, con la evidencia de hablar en otras lenguas, tú vas a recibir el derrame del Espíritu Santo. Tú vas a recibirlo hablando en lenguas. ¿Por qué? Porque la promesa es “sí”. Ese es la única forma en que viene el Espíritu Santo.
Si tú oras por perdón de pecados y tú crees que Dios te perdono cuando le preguntas, tú respuesta es “sí”. Él te perdonó cuando se lo pediste y Él borra tus pecados del libro. Además, Él los pone tan lejos de ti, como el este es del oeste y los echó en las profundidades del mar. Él no tiene recuerdo de ellos. Él no es el que te los está recordando todos los días.
Recordarte el pecado es uno de los principales juegos de Satanás. Parece conocer cada pecado que cualquiera haya cometido. Creo que trabaja horas extras para recordarlos. Cuando sigues a Dios, Satanás nunca duda en tratarte de detenerte al recordarte el pecado.
A pesar de que Dios ha perdonado tu pecado y los haya borrado del libro y te haya liberado, Satanás todavía quiere recordarte una y otra y otra vez. Tú puedes saber en que espíritu estás caminando cuando sigues recordando tus pecados. Mejor recuerda que todas las promesas de Dios son “sí”, y en Él “Amén”, para la gloria de Dios.
Hipocresía en la Predicación de la Palabra
Los predicadores de los Estados Unidos de América deben aprender a predicar la verdad. Ellos predicarán un verso exactamente como está escrito, discutirán y debatirán que significa lo que dice. Entonces ellos predican el siguiente verso y porque ese es contrario a su doctrina, ellos dicen que significa otra cosa. La razón por la cual predicadores americanos son de este modo es por la deshonestidad en sus corazones.
Cuando por primera vez entre en el movimiento Carismático en 1970, me dispuse a encontrar quien en América sigue a Dios. Vi hipocresía en los predicadores americanos.
Estuve en Dallas, Texas en 1973, escuchando a uno de los principales ministros de fe en América enseñando Hechos 8:12. Él dijo que muchos de los Samaritanos creyeron y fueron bautizados. En el verso 13 también Simón creyó y fue bautizado.
Este ministro dijo que Simón no era un cristiano. Las palabras “creyeron” y “bautizaban” en el verso 12 tiene exactamente el mismo significado que las palabras “creyó” y “bautizado” en el verso 13. Pero porque este hombre es hipócrita y por la deshonestidad en su corazón, él dijo que Simón no era un cristiano.
Me senté en absoluta incredulidad y asombro, que un hombre quien se llama ministro de fe sea un hipócrita como para afirmar que las palabras “creer” y “bautizar” en el verso 12 cambiaron de significado en el verso 13. Estaba aturdido. No podía creer su deshonestidad, aunque yo crecí con gente como él.
Yo no encuentro muchos ministros en esta tierra menos deshonestos que él. Ellos predican lo que ellos quieren predicar. Ellos no predican lo que la Palabra dice.
Dios ten misericordia de América, en los hipócritas de esta tierra. Ellos tienen su propia versión del evangelio y tienen miedo de hablar la verdad:
UNA PROFECÍA
Porque juicio vendrá a ellos, dice el Señor. Y ellos la recibirán Mi corrección o ellos serán cortados. Porque todos oirán Mi voz. Y todos oirán Mi palabra. Y cada hombre tendrá tiempo para considerar. Porque como está escrito en Mis profetas, muchos estarán en el valle de la decisión cuando el gran día del Señor venga. Muchos estarán en el valle de la decisión y ellos tendrán que creer si Mi palabra significa lo que dice o si su doctrina prevalecerá. Porque Mis palabras tendrán preminencia en la tierra, dice el Señor. Y las cosas que yo he hablado de la boca de mis profetas se cumplirán. Porque lo he ordenado desde Mi corazón y ha salido de Mi boca y ha sucedido que Mi Hijo debería venir a la tierra. Y que Él moriría, que Él sería enterrado y Él resucitaría. Y que el primer pacto sería puesto a un lado y Él vendría a ser el mediador del segundo. Pero muchos han rechazado la palabra, dice el Señor y ellos han escogido hablar las palabras que a la gente le gusta. Ellos han escogido hablar la visión de sus propios corazones. Y ellos no han escogido hablar por el Espíritu. Porque ellos han cedido a su propia mente y su propio intelecto. Y ellos han escogido exaltar su propio conocimiento y su propia opinión en vez de humillarse y recibir las cosas del Señor. Pero muchos estarán en el valle de la decisión, dice el Señor, antes del gran día de la venida del Señor. Y ellos tendrán oportunidad de considerar, creer y recibir el evangelio de Mi Hijo. Porque yo lo he enviado a Él y Él murió, Él fue enterrado y Él resucitó. Y Él es salvación para cualquiera que crea, para los judíos primeramente y para los griegos. Gloria a Dios. The Gospel is “Yes”!
You have just seen that the gospel is always a blessing. In this chapter, I am going to show you that, contrary to your religious teaching, the gospel is always "yes."
Look at II Corinthians 1:17:
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
Paul asked, "Do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be [yes yes and no no]?"
Did you get that? The Word of God is not "yes and no." Hear the Bible! The gospel is always "yes."
Fleshly Teaching
If you have been taught that the answers in the gospel are "yes or no," or "yes and no," you have been taught fleshly teaching. When I first entered the charismatic wilderness, this "yes and no" gospel was commonly taught: "God answers yes and no, wait and not now, and maybe."
That is not the gospel. That is fleshly preaching. Fleshly preaching is preaching "yes and no." The gospel is "yes"--always "yes." I will show you this. Look at
II Corinthians 1:18-20:
But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay (yes and no) (v. 18).
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea (v. 19).
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (v. 20).
A "yes and no" gospel gives religious preachers an escape route for their doubt and unbelief. If you believe the gospel, all of the promises of God will be "yes" and "so be it" in Christ for you.
Promises of God are "Yes"
All of the promises of God are "yes," in Christ. It is simple. The answer is "yes!" So, if you pray according to the scripture and believe God, you always know what is going to happen.
If you pray to receive Christ, and you believe on Him, you are going to receive Him. If you pray to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in other tongues, you are going to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. You are going to receive it with tongues. Why? Because the promise is "yes." That is the only way the Holy Spirit comes.
If you pray for forgiveness of sin, and you believe that God forgives you when you ask Him, your answer is "yes." He forgave you when you asked Him, and He blotted your sin out of the book. Further, He put it as far from you as the east is from the west, and cast it into the depths of the sea. He does not have any remembrance of it. He is not the one reminding you of it every day.
Reminding you of sin is one of Satan's great games. He seems to know every sin anyone ever committed. I think he works overtime to remember them. When you are following God, Satan never hesitates to try to stop you by reminding you of sin.
Even though God has forgotten your sin, and has blotted it out of the book, and has set you free, Satan still wants to remind you over and over and over. You can tell what spirit you are walking in when you keep remembering your sins. Instead, remember that all the promises of God are "yes," and in Him "Amen," unto the glory of God.
Hypocrisy in Preaching the Word
Preachers in the United States of America need to learn to preach the truth. They will preach one verse exactly as it is written, and argue and debate that it means what it says. Then they preach the next verse, and because that one is contrary to their doctrine, they say it means something else. The reason American preachers are this way is the dishonesty of their hearts.
When I first got into the Charismatic movement in 1970, I set out to find who in America followed God. I saw hypocrisy in American preachers.
I was in Dallas, Texas, in 1973, listening to one of the leading faith ministers in America teaching out of Acts 8:12. He said many of the Samaritans believed and were baptized. The 13th verse says Simon believed also and was baptized.
This minister said Simon was not a Christian. The words "believed" and "baptized" in the 12th verse have exactly the same meaning as the words "believed" and "baptized" in the 13th verse. But because this man is a hypocrite and because of the dishonesty of his heart, he said Simon was not a Christian.
I sat in absolute disbelief and astonishment that a man who called himself a faith minister would be so hypocritical as to claim that the words "believe" and "baptize" in verse 12 changed meaning in verse 13. I was stunned. I could not believe his dishonesty, even though I grew up with people like him.
I do not find many ministers in this land any less dishonest than he. They preach what they want to preach. They do not preach what the Word says.
God have mercy on America--on the hypocrites of this land. They have their own version of the gospel and are afraid to speak the truth:
A PROPHECY
For judgment will come unto them, saith the Lord. And they will receive My correction or they will be cut off. For everyone shall hear My voice. And everyone shall hear My word. And every man shall have the time to consider. For as it is written in My prophets, many shall be in the valley of decision when the great day of the Lord is coming. Many shall be in the valley of decision, and they will have to believe whether My word means what it says or whether their doctrine shall prevail. For My words shall take preeminence in the land, saith the Lord. And the things that I have spoken out of my prophets' mouths shall come to pass. For I have ordained it from My heart, and it has gone forth out of My mouth and it has come to pass that My Son should come into the earth. And that He should die, that He should be buried, and He should rise again. And that the first covenant should be set aside and He should become the mediator of the second. But many have rejected that word, saith the Lord, and they have chosen to speak the words that the people would like. They have chosen to speak a vision of their own heart. And they have not chosen to speak by the Spirit. For they have yielded to their own mind and their own intellect. And they have chosen to exalt their own knowledge and their own opinion instead of humbling themselves and receiving the things of the Lord. But many shall be in the valley of decision, saith the Lord, before that great day of the coming of the Lord. And they shall have opportunity to consider and believe and receive the gospel of My Son. For I have sent Him and He died, and He was buried and He rose again. And He is salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Praise be to God. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
