Since last Thursday (Sept. 14) up until yesterday (Sept. 18) The devil has afflicted me with flu like symptoms. Saturday I slept most of the day and some of the day on Sunday. I couldn't get my faith going and setting my heart upon the gospel. I told God a couple of weeks ago if He would heal that abscessed tooth I would give testimony of it. It was on my heart yesterday to give testimony of the power of God healing that tooth. Today those flu like symptoms are gone. We better keep our vows to God!
Years ago Jesus spoke to me and said "I'm making you into a lion". As we are being conformed to the image of the Lion of of the tribe of Judah, Jesus Christ, He is causing us to stand up and be victorious in believing in the gospel of Christ. How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, He was buried and rose again the third day according to the scripture.
The Holy Spirit said to me yesterday "A lion doesn't retreat" I wondered where that was in the scripture and looked on the web.
Proverbs 30:30 (KJV) A lion which is strongest among beast, and turneth not away from any!
NIV: A lion, mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing!
ESV: The lion, which is mightiest among beasts and does not turn back before any!
