Dumnezeu Vă Va Testa, Capitolul 4 Partea 2

Dumnezeu vă va testa duhul în fiecare formă. El vă va testa în fiecare relație. El va testa tot ceea ce faceți pentru a afla dacă Îl veți asculta. Dacă faceți mereu ceea ce Îi aduce plăcere, după ce veți trece testul, El va spune, “Ei bine, testul s-a terminat, și toate bunecuvântările sunt acum ale voastre.”

Majoritatea creștinilor nu cred asta. Li s-a spus că Isus a fost testat pentru ca ei să nu mai trebuiască să fie. Vă voi spune eu că veți avea un test în fiecare zi cu Dumnezeu. În fiecare dimineață Dumnezeu vă va spune, “Ei bine, te vom conduce pe o cale dreaptă astăzi.”

Satana Va Încereca Să Vă Oprească

Când Dumnezeu te va duce către o cale dreaptă, Satana se va afla la fiecare ieșire, spunând, “Vino aici, vino aici.” Și există o ieșire la fiecare 15 picioare (4 metri jumătate). Dacă sari peste calea ta și mergi la ieșire, Satana te va avea.

Nu încerc să vă sperii; vă spun pur și simplu să nu ascultați fiecare voce pe care o auziți. Satana va veni și va face orice poate ca să vă oprească.

Într-o zi mă rugam și Îl veneram pe Dumnezeu, și l-am auzit pe diavol spunând, “Te voi omorî astăzi.” Eu am spus, “Nu, nu vei face asta!” Iar el a spus, “Ai facut ceva ce nu mi-a plăcut, și o să te omor.”

Eu am spus, “Nu, nu vei face asta, diavolule! Știu cine ești. Îți știu vocea. Eu Îi fac pe plac Tatălui tuturor duhurilor, nu ție.” Acestea s-au petrecut în cinci sau zece minute, iar apoi el m-a lăsat în pace.

Așa va vorbi diavolul cu voi. Încerca să mă convingă că era Dumnezeu, că am făcut ceva ce nu Îi plăcea Lui Dumnezeu, și că El mă va omorî pentru asta.

Și voi veți avea astfel de atacuri. Acum nu mai mi-e frică atunci când vin aceste atacuri. Spun pur și simplu, “Nu, nu vei face asta. Eu Îl cunosc pe Tatăl meu. Și fac mereu ceea ce Îi aduce plăcere Lui.” Diavolul nu mi-a mai spus că mă va omorî de câteva luni.

Nu numai că l-am auzit spunându-mi astea, ci m-a și încercat. Hoțul vine să omoare, să fure, și să distrugă. Dacă cedați în fața diavolului, el va profita de voi. Trebuie să îi rezistați diavolului atunci când vine. Nu puteți să îi lăsați niciun pic de loc.

Da-Ți-Vă Viața

Să vă spun ceva. Am absolvit la Universitatea din Missouri în 1962, după ce timp de patru ani am fost în Marină. Am ieșit din Statele Unite, și am făcut multe lucruri în viața mea. Am avut mult succes pe cale spirituală.

Când am început să mă supun Domnului, și când am aflat că dacă nu mă supun voi fi un copil nelegitim, atunci a tribuit să iau niște decizii. A trebuit să decid dacă vreau să Îl urmez pe Dumnezeu sau nu. M-am așezat și am început să mă gândesc.

Nu am avut nicio problemă pe lume atunci când L-am primit pe Hristos. Am fost un păcătos, cel dintâi dintre ei, dar nimic nu mă deranja cu adevărat. Nu eram bolnav. Nimeni din familia mea nu era bolnavă. Nu aveam probleme financiare. Sincer, eram o persoană foarte norocoasă.

Dar Dumnezeu mă vizita de 12 ani, și în ultimii doi ani--1968-1969, Dumnezeu îmi vorbea zi și noapte. De fapt, știu că El a pus un înger în locul din față în dreapta automobilului meu.

Eram un veterinar practicant și făceam practică ecvină în Texasul de Nord și în alte zone ale Statelor Unite, și am condus mii și mii de mile. Acel înger a stat în mașina mea zi și noapte.

De fiecare dată când intram în mașină, el mă întreba, “De ce nu predici Evanghelia? De ce nu te supui Domnului?”

Eu eram așa de frustrat, și mă întrebam, “De ce nu ieși din mașina mea? De ce nu mă lași în pace?” Dar Îi mulțumesc Lui Dumnezeu că nu m-a lăsat.

Luați-Vă În Considerare Viața

A trebuit să iau în considerare viața pe care am trăit-o. A trebuit să iau în considerare ce am văzut scris în Scripturi. A devenit foarte clar pentru mine că dacă Scripturile spuneau ceea ce vreau să spună ( și nici măcar nu credeam asta), existau realizări mult mai mari și binecuvântari mult mai mari pentru mine dacă L-ași fi ascultat pe Dumnezeu decât dacă îmi continuam viața mergând în trup.

Eu am fost mereu genul de persoană care gândea mult lucrurile. Isus mi-a spus odată, “Nu poți face nimic decât dacă poți să deslușești acel lucru întâi în mintea ta, nu?” Nu știam ce să gândesc în acel moment și am spus, “Exact, ai dreptate, Isus.” Acum știu că Isus se distra pe seama mea, și acum pot face lucruri fără să trebuiască să le deslușesc întâi în mintea mea.

Mereu apreciez ceea ce a făcut Dumnezeu pentru mine. Încă îmi folosesc mintea pentru a citi și a studia. Încă mă gândesc, dar mă gândesc la lucrurile care sunt drepte, lucrurile care sunt minunate, lucrurile care sunt adevărate, lucrurile care sunt oneste. La aceste lucruri mă gândesc acum în majoritatea timpului.

Luați Viața Sa

Oricum, atunci când am considerat că pot să merg perfect în fața Domnului și că pot face mereu lucrurile care Îi aduc plăcere, am decis că vreau să fac asta. Apoi am aflat că nu pot să fac asta. Aici intervine Dumnezeu. Dacă veți lua decizia că vreți să Îl urmați pe Domnul Isus, El vă va lua viața.

Nu puteți să vă decideți pur și simplu să Îl urmați pe Isus. Va trebui să vă aruncați viața și să o luați pe a Lui. Nu puteți sî îl urmați pe Domnul Isus Hristos în trup. Va trebui să vă omorâți trupul prin Duh.

Dacă vreți să Îl urmați pe Isus, va trebui să vă asumați viața Sa după ce a fost înviat. Să mergeți așa cum a mers El pe pământ, să fiți condus de Duh, să faceți mereu ceea ce Îi aduce plăcere Tatălui, și așa Îl veți face pe Tată să vă audă mereu. Când veți face acestea, toate binecuvântările, pacea, și lucrurile ce se vor pogorî asupra voastră prin ascultarea Domnului Isus Hristos vor fi cele mai mari binecuvântări și realizări de care veți avea vreodată parte pe pâmânt.

God Will Test You, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 4 Part 2

That word “learn” means “with instruction and experience.” You learn by experience.” You will find yourself in a strange situation, you will listen to God and trust Him, and He will direct your path.

God will test your spirit every way. He will test you in every relationship. He will test everything you do to find out if you will listen to Him. If you always do what pleases Him, then, after you pass the test, He will say, “Well, the test is over, and now the blessings are yours.

Most Christians do not believe that. They have been taught that Jesus was tested so that they do not have to be. Let me tell you, you will have a test every day with God. Every morning God will say, “Well, we will lead you in a righteous path today.”

Satan Will Try to Hinder You

When God leads you in a righteous path, Satan is standing at every exit, saying, “Come here, come here.” There is an exit every 15 feet. If you jump off the path and through the exit, Satan has you.

I am not trying to scare you; I am simply telling you not to listen to every voice you hear. Satan will come and do anything he can to hinder you.

One day I was praising and worshiping God, and I heard the devil say, “I am going to kill you today.” I said, “No, you are not!” He said, “You have done something that does not please me, and I am going to kill you.”

I said, “No, you are not devil! I know who you are. I know your voice. I please the Father of spirits, not you.” That went on for five or ten minutes, then he left me.

That is the way the devil will talk to you. He was trying to convince me that he was God, that I had done something that God did not like, and that He was going to kill me for it.

You will have that kind of attack. I am no longer afraid when those attacks come. I simply say, “No, you will not. I know my Father. And I always do the things that please Him.” The devil has not said he was going to kill me in several months.

I have not only had him say it to me, but I have had him try it. The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy. If you yield to the devil, he will take advantage of you. You have to resist the devil when he comes. You cannot give place to the devil.

Lay Down Your Life

Let me tell you something. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 1962, after I had been in the Navy for four years. I have been outside the United States, and I have done a lot of things in my life. I had a lot of soulish sucess.

When I began to learn about obeying God, and found out that unless I obey Him I was going to be an illegitimate child, I had to make some decisions. I had to decide whether I wanted to follow God or not. I sat down and began to think.

I did not have any problems in the world when I received Christ. I was a sinner, the chiefest of them, but nothing was seriously bothering me. I was not ill. No one in my family was ill. I did not have financial problems. I was a very fortunate person, frankly.

But God had been visiting me for about 12 years, and the last two years--1968-1969, God spoke to me day and night. In fact, I know now that He put an angel of the Lord in the right front seat of my automobile.

I was a practicing veterinarian with an equine practice in North Texas and other areas in the United States, and I drove thousands of miles. That angel sat in my car day and night.

Every time I would get in my car he would be there asking, “Why don’t you preach the gospel? Why don’t you obey God?”

I was so frustrated, I thought, “Why don’t you get out of my car? Why don’t you leave me along?” But I thank God that He did not.

Consider Your Life

I had to consider the life I had lived. I had to consider what I saw written in the scriptures. It became very obvious to me that if the scriptures meant what they said (and I did not even believe that), there were far greater achievements and far greater blessings available to me by obeying God than by continuing to walk in the flesh.

I have always been the kind of person who thought things out. Jesus said to me one time, “You cannot do anything unless you can figure it out in your mind, right?” At the time, I did not know what to think, and I said, “Exactly, you are right, Jesus.” Now I know that Jesus was making fun of me, and now I can do things without figuring them out in my mind.

I always appreciate what God has done for me. I still use my mind to read and study. I still think, but I think on the things of God--the things that are pure, the things that are just, the things that are lovely, the things that are true, the things that are honest. That is what I keep my mind on most of the time now.

Take up His Life

Anyway, as I considered that I could walk perfectly before God and that I could always do those things that please Him, I decided that I wanted to do it. Then I found out that I was unable to. That is where God comes in. If you will make a decision that you want to follow the Lord Jesus, He will take your life.

You cannot simply decide to follow Jesus. He will have to lead you. You will have to lay down your life and take up His. You are incapable of following the Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh. You will have to put your body to death through the Spirit.

If you want to follow Jesus, you will have to take up His resurrected life. Walk as He walked in the earth, being led by the Spirit, doing always what pleases the Father, and having the Father always hear you. When you do, the blessing, the peace, and all the things that come upon you by obeying the Lord Jesus Christ will be the greatest blessings and achievements that you will ever experience on the earth.

În acea noapte am oprit în Atlas, Arkansas, unde am mers la un circ care era proprietatea și se afla sub controlul Fraților Busby. Și i-a spus: “Jerry, ai vreun loc în care poți să îl pui pe băiatul ăsta?” S-a uitat la mine și a început să îmi pună o serie lungă de întrebări la care am răspuns aleator. În sfârșit, când m-am săturat de circ și am început să vreau o schimbare de scenariu și de ocupație, aveam un spectacol în Mena, Arkansas. În timp ce spectacolul nostru era în desfășurare și nu aveam multe lucruri de făcut, mă plimbam prin zonă ca să găsesc pe cineva care, măcar o dată, să vorbescă prietenește cu mine. Am găsit apoi un om care vorbea în fața unei mulțimi despre lucrurile pe care el putea să le facă. L-am ascultat o perioadă și m-am gândit că ar fi un lucru bun pentru mine dacă aș putea să mă alătur lui.

După ce bărbatul și-a terminat discursul și oamenilor li s-a spus că taxa de intrare e de 10 cenți, cu toții au început să își scrie numele. Bărbatul s-a uitat blând la mine din cap până în picioare și mi-a spus: “Haide, dacă asta vrei.” Și am intrat; și când am ieșit, acest bărbat mi-a atins umărul și m-a întrebat ce fac. I-am spus cu cine eram în oraș și el a afirmat că ei nu mă plătesc prea bine. I-am spus că așa e. Mi-a spus că, dacă pot să fac ce vrea el, i-ar plăcea dacă aș putea să mă alătur lui.

M-a întrebat dacă pot cânta și i-am zis că numai puțin; apoi m-a întrebat dacă pot dansa.

După ce i-am zis că pot și cânta, și dansa, mi-a spus că ar putea să îi fiu de folos. Așa că atunci și acolo m-am alăturat Spectacolului cu Șerpi al lui Otis Larue. Acest om s-a dovedit apoi că e un prieten adevărat. Iar eu am jucat rolul unui comedian.

Am făcut un tur prin Texas și Arkansas până iarna; apoi ne-am oprit la casa lui din orașul său natal, Seleste, Texas. M-a întrebat dacă am prieteni sau rude în oraș și i-am spus că nu am rude, dar stau la un bărbat pentru care am lucrat. El mi-a spus: “Ei bine, poate că nu știi acest lucru acum, dar ești un băiat foarte bolnav. Vreau să mergi acasă sau oriunde stai, să te pui în pat și în câteva zile, dacă ești norocos, toate acestea vor trece.”

Mi-a dat multe medicamente și m-am întors apoi în locul în care stăteam. La întoarcere mi-am dat seama cât de bolnav eram, pentru că a trebuit să mă opresc și să mă odihnesc de vreo trei sau patru ori cât am mers o distanță de trei sau patru străzi. Când am ajuns acolo, m-am pus direct în pat. Oamenii din casă m-au întrebat ce se petrece și le-am spus că sunt plin de malarie și de toate bolile pe care poate cineva să le ia. Din acel moment am realizat că nu mai sunt binevenit în acel loc. Și apoi m-am gândit: “Oh, draga mea mamă!” Și în următoarele două săptămână, dacă îmi venea acel gând în minte o dată, însemnă că a fost acolo de o mie de ori.

Acum câteva zile, unei persoane pe care o cunosc i-au apărut niște arsuri chimice sub ochi. După cum știți, pielea de sub ochi poate să fie foarte sensibilă. Arsura chimică a lăsat într-o parte un semn roșu care se vedea foarte tare, iar în cealaltă parte o deteriorare a pielii. Domnul mi-a vorbit și mi-a spus să pun mâinile pe acea persoană pentru a i se vindeca arsurile. Acea persoană m-a întrebat seara trecută: “Crezi că Dumnezeu îmi va vindeca pielea până dimineață?” Răspunsul meu a fost: “Da, cred asta.” M-am rugat și am pus mâna pe față și I-am mulțumit Domnului pentru vindecarea rănii, pentru ce a făcut Isus pentru noi și m-am rugat ca puterea Evangheliei să aibă un efect asupra zonei afectate. În câteva secunde, mușchii feței au început să zvâcnească. Această persoană mi-a spus în seara asta că, după trezire, pielea era ca nouă. Cineva chiar i-a făcut o remarcă spunând că pielea îi strălucește. Eu ofer mulțumire Lui Dumnezeu și Domnului meu Isus Hristos și puterii învierii Sale pentru că a vindecat imediat această persoană.

Vedeți voi, Dumnezeu m-a învățat acum mulți ani să nu pun imediat mâinile pe cineva, ci numai atunci când îmi spune El. Am fost foarte încurajat de acest lucru și de Duhul Său care mă ghida. Vedeți voi, toate acestea trebuie să fie făcute de Duhul Domnului, iar Dumnezeu va îndruma calea fiecăruia și toate lucrările pe care le are pregătite pentru noi. Îi mulțumesc Lui Dumnezeu pentru lucrările puterii Sale mărețe prin care grăbește despărțirea cuiva de necazurile pricinuite de diavol.

Mă rog ca aceste lucruri să vă încurajeze să continuați să credeți că Isus Hristos este Domnul și că El a fost înviat din morți și este în continuare viu.

Ce minunat este Domnul pe care Îl slujesc!

A few days back, someone I know got chemical burns under their eyes. As most know the skin under your eyes can be very sensitive. The chemical burn left a very noticeable red burn on one side and skin damage on the other. The Lord spoke to me and said lay hands on this person and I will heal the damage. This person asked me last night, “Do you have the faith to believe God will heal my skin by the morning?” My response was, “yes I do.” I prayed and laid my hand on their face and gave thanks to God for healing the area and for the work Jesus did and the power of the gospel to impact this area. Within seconds the muscles in the face began to twitch. This person told me tonight they woke up and their skin was like new. Someone even remarked today that their face was glowing. Well I give thanks to God and my Lord Jesus Christ and the power of his resurrection for healing this person immediately.

You see, God taught me many years ago not to lay hands on anyone quickly and only when he tells me. I was so encouraged by this and his Spirit giving me instructions. You see, it all has to be done by the Spirit of God and God will direct your path and the works he has ordained for us. I thank God for the working of his mighty power to quicken someone’s affliction of the devil.

I pray this encourages you to continue to believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and he was raised from the dead and is as much alive today as ever.

Jesús en el Desierto

Mencioné anteriormente que Jesús no operó en el poder de Dios hasta que Él fue bautizado en agua y en el Espíritu Santo, fue guiado al desierto por el Espíritu Santo, ayunó, oró y venció al demonio. Sólo entonces Él regresó a Galilea en el poder del Espíritu Santo.

Es notable pensar que Jesús era un hombre y que Él es nuestro ejemplo. Es notable pensar que Jesús pudo haber sido injusto. Si Él no pudo haber sido injusto, ¿Por qué Satanás se molestó en tentarlo?

Habacuc 2:4 dice, "Aquel cuya alma no es recta se enorgullece". El Espíritu de Jesús el hombre era el Hijo del cielo. Ese Espíritu era perfecto y justo. Sin embargo Su alma y Su cuerpo vinieron de Su madre terrenal y tuvieron que ser hechos íntegros, al igual que como nuestro espíritu, alma y cuerpo serán hechos íntegros. Seremos íntegros cuando caminemos como Él caminó.

Mateo 3:13 empieza:

¹⁴ Pero Juan se le oponía, diciendo:—Yo necesito ser bautizado por ti, ¿y tú acudes a mí?

 ¹⁵ Jesús le respondió:—Permítelo ahora, porque así conviene que cumplamos toda justicia. Entonces se lo permitió.

La palabra "justicia" significa ser declarado justo. Para ser declarado justo, tú debes ser guiado por el Espíritu de Dios y todo lo que hagas debe de ser la voluntad de Dios.

Nos enseñaron que la justicia era una posición. Nos enseñaron que fuimos hechos justos cuando recibimos a Jesús.

Sin embargo estudiando la vida de Jesús, yo empecé a ver que la justicia es por fe y está en el corazón. Entonces vi que Jesús era un siervo justo. Isaías 53:11 profetiza acerca de Jesús:

¹¹Verá el fruto de la aflicción de su alma y quedará satisfecho; por su conocimiento justificará mi siervo justo a muchos, y llevará sobre sí las iniquidades de ellos.

Jesús es llamado un siervo justo. Su Espíritu era del Hijo del cielo, pero Él tenía un alma y un cuerpo como los nuestros. Su alma y Su cuerpo tenían debilidades como las nuestras y  Él pudo haber cedido a las tentaciones que enfrentó. Lo que hizo justo a Jesús fue Su fe y Su obediencia al Padre.

1 Juan 3:7 dice:

⁷ Hijitos, nadie os engañe; el que hace justicia es justo, como él es justo. 

El que hace justicia es justo, no él que sabe todas las definiciones de la palabra.

Mira otra vez en Mateo 3:15:

¹⁵ Jesús le respondió:—Permítelo ahora, porque así conviene que cumplamos toda justicia. Entonces se lo permitió

Jesús fue llamado un siervo justo. Era la voluntad de Dios que Juan el Bautista bautizará a Jesús en el río de Jordán y Él cumpliera la justicia de Dios, porque Él fue guiado  por el Espíritu y obedeció.

Jesús Complació al Padre

Continuamos con Mateo 3:16-17:

¹⁶ Y Jesús, después que fue bautizado, subió enseguida del agua, y en ese momento los cielos le fueron abiertos, y vio al Espíritu de Dios que descendía como paloma y se posaba sobre él. 

Jesús acababa de recibir el bautismo en el agua y el bautismo en el Espíritu Santo y Él oyó esto:

¹⁷ Y se oyó una voz de los cielos que decía: «Éste es mi Hijo amado, en quien tengo complacencia.»

Complació al Padre que Jesús debería ser bautizado en el agua y en el Espíritu Santo y el Padre lo dijo. Jesús es nuestro ejemplo, así como nuestro bautismo en el agua y el bautismo en el Espíritu Santo  complace al Padre. Recuerda que 1 Juan 2:6 nos dice: " ⁶ El que dice que permanece en él, debe andar como él anduvo".

Jesús Fue Guiado por el Espíritu

De acuerdo con Lucas 3:23, "Jesús, al comenzar su ministerio, era como de treinta años".

Entonces, en Lucas 4:1, vemos:

¹Jesús, lleno del Espíritu Santo, volvió del Jordán y fue llevado por el Espíritu al desierto

² por cuarenta días, y era tentado por el diablo…

El Padre estaba complacido que Jesús subiera del agua y fuera bautizado en el Espíritu Santo. El Padre fue igualmente complacido cuando Él entró en el desierto por 40 días para ser tentado por el diablo. Jesús estaba siendo justo y Él fue justo porque Él estaba haciendo todo lo que Dios le pedía hacer. Él era guiado por el Espíritu de Dios.  Para ser guiado por el Espíritu es caminar por fe.

Jesus in the Wilderness

I mentioned earlier that Jesus did not operate in the power of God until He was baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, and fasted and prayed and overcame the devil.  Only then did He return into Galilee in the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is remarkable to think that Jesus was a man and that He is our example.  It is remarkable to think that Jesus could have been unrighteous.  If He could not have been unrighteous, why did Satan bother to tempt Him?

Habakkuk 2:4 says, "Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him."  The Spirit of Jesus the man was the Son from Heaven. That Spirit was perfect and righteous. His soul and His body, however, came from His earthly mother and had to be made upright, just as our spirit, soul, and body will be made upright.   We will be made upright when we walk as He walked.

 He That Doeth Righteousness Is Righteous

Matthew 3:13 begins:

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him (v. 13).

But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me  (v. 14)?

And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.  Then he suffered him (v. 15).

We were taught that righteousness was a position.  We were taught that we were made righteous when we received Jesus Christ.

Studying the life of Jesus, however, I began to see that righteousness is by faith, and that it is in the heart.  Then I saw that Jesus was a righteous servant.  Isaiah 53:11 prophesies about Jesus:

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many;

Jesus is called a righteous servant.  His Spirit was the Son from heaven, but He had a soul and a body like ours. His soul and His body had weaknesses like ours, and He could have yielded to the temptations that He faced. What made Jesus righteous was His faith and His obedience to the Father.

I John 3:7 says:

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

He that doeth righteousness is righteous, not he that knows all the definitions of the word. 

Look again at Matthew 3:15:

And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.  Then he suffered him.

Jesus was called a righteous servant.  It was God's will that John the Baptist baptize Jesus in the river Jordan, and He fulfilled God's righteousness, because He was led by the Spirit and obeyed.

Jesus Pleased the Father

Matthew 3:16-17 continue:

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him (v. 16):

Jesus had just received water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit and He heard this:

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased  (v. 17).

It pleased the Father that Jesus should be baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, and the Father said so.  Jesus is our example, so our water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit also please the Father.  Remember that I John 2:6 tells us:  "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."

Jesus Was Led by the Spirit

According to Luke 3:23, "Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age."  Then, in Luke 4:1, we see:

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness (v. 1),

Being forty days tempted of the devil... (v. 2).

The Father was pleased that Jesus came up out of the water and was baptized in the Holy Spirit.  The Father was equally as pleased that He entered into the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted of the devil.  Jesus was still righteous, and He was righteous because He was doing everything that God asked Him to do.  He was being led by the Spirit of God.  To be led by the Spirit is to walk by faith.

Chapitre 3.1 : Jésus dans le désert

J'ai indiqué précédemment que Jésus n'a pas opéré dans la puissance de Dieu avant qu'il ne reçoive le baptême de l'eau puis du Saint Esprit et qu'il ne soit conduit dans le désert par le Saint Esprit, où il a jeûné et prié et vaincu le diable. Après seulement, Il est retourné en Galilée dans la puissance du Saint Esprit.

Ce qui est incroyable c'est de penser que Jésus était un homme et qu'Il est notre exemple. Ce qui est tout aussi incroyable c'est de penser que Jésus aurait pu être injuste. Si cela n'avait pas été le cas alors pourquoi Satan a essayé de Le tenter ?

Habakuk 2:4 dit : "Voici, son âme enflée d'orgueil n'est pas droite en lui ; mais le juste vivra par sa foi." L'Esprit de Jésus, l'homme, était celui du Fils venant des Cieux. Cet Esprit était parfait et juste. Son âme et Son corps, cependant sont venus de sa mère terrestre et ont dû être rendus justes, tout comme votre esprit, votre âme et votre corps devront être rendus justes. Nous serons rendus juste lorsque nous marcherons comme Jésus a marché.

Celui qui pratique la Justice est Juste

Matthieu 3:13 commence : Alors Jésus vient de Galilée au Jourdain auprès de Jean, pour être baptisé par lui ; (v.13)

Mais Jean l'en empêchait fort, disant : Moi j'ai besoin d'être baptisé par toi et toi, tu viens à moi ! (v.14)

Et Jésus, répondant, lui dit : Laisse faire maintenant, car ainsi il nous est convenable d'accomplir toute justice. Alors il le laissa faire. (v.15)

Le mot ''justice'' signifie être déclaré juste. Pour être déclaré juste, vous devez être conduit par l'Esprit de Dieu et toutes vos actions doivent être selon la volonté de Dieu.

On nous a enseigné que la justice était une position. On nous a enseigné que nous avons été fait juste lorsque nous avons reçu Jésus Christ.

Cependant en étudiant la vie de Jésus, j'ai commencé à voir que la justice était par la foi et qu'elle est du cœur. Puis j'ai vu que Jésus était un serviteur juste. Esaïe 53:11 prophétise de Jésus ainsi :

Il verra du travail de son âme et sera satisfait : par sa connaissance mon serviteur juste enseignera la justice à plusieurs ;

NB : En anglais le texte dit : il justifiera plusieurs et non pas il enseignera la justice à plusieurs.

Jésus est appelé un serviteur juste. Son Esprit était celui du Fils des cieux, mais Son âme et Son corps étaient comme les nôtres. Son âme et Son esprit ont connu les mêmes faiblesses que les nôtres, et il aurait pu aisément céder aux tentations qu'il a rencontrées. Mais ce qui a rendu Jésus juste, c'est Sa foi et Son obéissance au Père.

I Jean 3:7 dit : Enfants, que personne ne vous égare : celui qui pratique la justice est juste, comme lui est juste.

Celui qui pratique la justice est juste, mais ce n'est celui qui connaît toutes les définitions de la parole.

Isus Îi Făcea Pe Plac Tatălui, Capitolul 4 Partea 1

Isus a fost îndrumat de Duhhul Sfânt. Isus a făcut mereu lucruri care îi aduceau plăcere Tatălui. Uitați-vă la Ioan 8:28. Acestea sunt cuvintele pe care Isus le-a spus Fariseilor:

Isus le-a zis: Când Îl veți înălța pe Fiul Omului, atunci veți cunoaște că Eu sunt și că nu fac nimic de la Mine Însumi, ci spun aceste lucruri așa cum M-a învățat Tatăl (v. 28).

Iar Cel Ce M-a trimis este cu Mine. El nu M-a lăsat singur, pentru că Eu fac întotdeauna ceea ce-I este plăcut (v. 29).

Țineți minte că în Ioan 11:42, Isus I-a spus Tatălui că L-a ascultat mereu. Aici, Isus spune, “Eu fac întotdeauna ceea ce-I este plăcut.” Și în Ioan 2:6, apostolul Ioan a spus că noi trebuie să mergem așa cum a mers Isus.

Dacă noi mergem așa cum a mers Isus, Dumnezeu ne va asculta mereu, și noi putem să facem numai lucrurile care Îi aduc Lui plăcere și nimic altceva. Aici nu apare nicio încercare și eroare. Aici nu apare “câștigi ceva, pierzi ceva.” Aici e frăția perfectă cu Dumnezeu, ascultarea perfectă, a face ceea ce Dumnezeu vrea să faci. Singurele lucruri pe care le vei face vreodată sunt acelea care aduc plăcere Domnului.

Acum, dacă faceți ceea ce Îi aduce plăcere Lui Dumnezeu, nu voi veți fi aceia cărora li se va aduce plăcere. Dumnezeu vă va testa în toate felurile în ainte de a vă da multă responsabilitate, pentru a afla dacă voi vreți să vă aduceți vouă plăcere sau dacă veți face mereu acele lucruri care Îi aduc Lui plăcere.

Nu știu nimic în viața mea de astăzi care să nu Îi aducă plăcere Lui Dumnezeu. Dacă aș ști, L-aș ruga pe Dumnezeu să facă ceva în privința asta. Nu vă spun că fac ceva anume--vă spun că nu știu să fac ceva rău.

Dacă aș face ceva ce nu Îi face plăcere, în câteva ore El mi-ar spune. Acum nu Îi ia mult timp să ajungă la mine. Înainte, dura mai mult timp. Dar acum nu mi-e frică să vă spun cu tot trupul că ceea ce fac Îi aduce plăcere Lui Dumnezeu.

Știți vum șyiu că ceea ce fac acum Îi aduce plăcere Domnului? Pentru că spun cu îndrăzneală că așa e.

Dacă și voi spuneți cu îndrăzneală, fără rușine, în fața oamenilor, că Îi aduceți plăcere Lui Dumnezeu, și dacă nu spuneți adevărul, Dumnezeu vă va opri vă va spune, “Așteaptă un minut, o să îți arăt că nu Mă asculți.” Niciodată să nu credeți că puteți să vă faceți voua pe plac.

De fiecare dată când spun asta, spun, “Ei bine, slavă Domnului, voi afla, nu-i așa?” Dar știu ce Îi aduce plăcere Domnului. Și Îi aduce plăcere atunci când voi și eu Îl ascultăm și avem încredere în El.

Învățați Să Aveți Încredere În Dumnezeu

Imediat după ce am devenit creștin, mă aflam în ferma mea din Missouri. La fermă aveam un hambar cu un acoperiș de tablă. O parte a hambarului avea o linie dreaptă de acoperiș, dar pe cealaltă parte acoperișul a căzut 25 de picioare (7,62 metri) direct pe pământ.

Niște cuie ieșeau din table acoperișului, așa că l-am rugat pe tatăl meu să țină un capăt al sforii cât timp eu mergeam către marginea acoperișului și băteam din nou cuiele în tablă. Am luat ciocanul, niște cuie și sfoara și tatăl meu a stat în vârful hambarului ca să țină sfoara când eu mergeam pe marginea acoperișului.

Când timp stăteam acolo, Dumnezeu mi-a spus, “Să ai încredere în tatăl tău pământesc că te va ține pe hambar.” Eu am spus, “Bineînțeles, nu îmi va da drumul.”Dumnezeu mi-a spus, “De ce nu ai încredere în mine?” Eu am spus, “Trebuie să glumești.”

Dumnezeu mi-a oferit niște lecții practice. Eu mă aflam acolo, la 25 de picioare de pământ, stând pe marginea acoperișului, ținându-mă de o sfoară, iar Dumnezeu mi-a spus mie, “Să ai încredere în tatăl tăi pâmântesc că te va ține acolo. Asta e forma prin care vreau ca tu să ai încredere în Mine--să ai încredere în Mine că atunci când ești la marginea unei stânci, și trebuie să treci peste, nu te voi lăsa să cazi.”

Nu am uitat niciodată ce mi-a spus Dumnezeu, chiar dacă a fost acum 20 de ani. Țin minute asta, dar nu mai țin minte când L-am primit pe Isus.

Este important să țineți minte că sunteți mai mult decât salvați. Este important să țineți mintele cuvintele pe care Dumnezeu le vorbește către voastră despre a avea încredere în El, pentru că a avea încredere în Dumnezeu este cel mai măreț lucru pe care îl puteți face vreodată. A avea încredere în El vă va ține salvați.

Vă învăț să credeți în Dumnezeu și să faceți mereu lucrurile care Îi aduc plăcere. Atunci când faceți lucrurile care Îi aduc plăcere Lui Dumnezeu, și nu faceți nimic altceva în afară de aceste lucruri, El vă va binecuvânta mereu. El vă va proteja. Îngerii Lui vor veghea mereu asupra voastră, și nu vă vor lăsa să vă împiedicați de pietre. Dar trebuie să învățați să aveți încredere în Dumnezeu.

Apostolul Pavel a spus că a învățat să fie suficient în orice stare s-ar afla. Nu a spus că într-o zi anume a fost salvat și dintr-o dată, a fost suficient. A spus că a învățat să fie suficient.

Jesus Pleased The Father, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 4 Part 1

Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus always did the things that pleased the Father. Look at John 8:28. These are words that Jesus spoke to the Pharisees:

Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things (v. 28).

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him (v. 29).

Remember that in John 11:42, Jesus said that the Father always heard him. Here, Jesus says, “I do always those things that please him.” And in 1 John 2:6, the apostle John said that we ought to walk as Jesus walked.

If we walk as Jesus walked, God always hears us, and we can always do the things that please Him and nothing else. That is not trial and error. That is not “win some, lose some,” That is perfect fellowship with God, perfect obedience, doing what God wants you to do. The only things you will ever do are those things that please God.

Now, if you do what pleases God, you will not be pleasing yourself. God will test you in every way before He gives you much responsibility, to find out whether you want to please yourself or whether you will always do those things that please Him.

I do not know of anything in my life today that is not pleasing to God. If I did, I would ask God to do something about it. I am not telling you that I am not doing anything--I am telling you that I do not know of anything.

If I were doing something that was not pleasing to Him, within a few hours He would tell me. It does not take God very long to get through to me now. It used to take Him a long time. But I am not afraid to tell you boldly that what I am doing today is pleasing to God.

Do you know how I know that what I am doing today is pleasing to God? Because I will boldly say so.

If you boldly, unashamedly, before people, say that you are pleasing God, and you are not telling the truth, God will stop you and say, “Wait a minute, I’ll show you that you are not obeying Me.” Never think that you can please yourself.

Every time I say this, I say, “Well, praise God, we will find out, won’t we?” But I know what pleases God. And it blesses Him for you and me to obey Him and trust Him.

Learn to Trust God

Right after I became a Christian, I was on my farm in Missouri. On the farm was a barn with a tin roof. One side of the barn had a low roof line, but on the other side, the roof abruptly dropped 25 feet straight to the ground.

A couple of nails were sticking out of some of the tin on the roof, so I asked my father to hold onto one end of a rope while I walked down to the edge of the roof and nailed the tin down. I took the hammer and some nails and a rope, and my father sat on the top of the barn holding the rope while I walked down to the edge of the roof.

While I was sitting there, God said to me, “You trust your earthly father to keep you on this barn.” I said, “Sure, he won’t turn me loose.” God said, “Why don’t you trust me like that?” I said, “You have to be kidding.”

God has given me some practical lessons. There I was, 25 feet above the ground, sitting on the very edge of the roof, hanging onto a rope, and God said to me, “You trust your earthly father to keep yo up here. That is the way I want you to trust Me--to trust Me that when you are right on the edge of a cliff, about to go over, I will not let you fall.”

I have never forgotten what God said to me, even though it was 20 years ago. I remember that, but I do not even remember when I received Jesus.

It is important to remember that you are more than saved. It is important to remember the words that God speaks to your heart about trusting Him, because trusting God is the greatest thing that you can ever do. Trusting Him will keep you saved.

I am teaching you to believe God and always do the things that please Him. When you do the things that please God, and you do not do anything except the things that please Him, He will always bless you. He will protect you. His angels will have charge over you, and they will not let you dash your foot against a stone. But you have to learn to trust God.

The apostle Paul said that he learned to be sufficient in whatever state he was in. He did not say that one day he was saved and suddenly he was sufficient. He said that he learned to be sufficient.
