ISUS PE CRUCE/JESUS ON THE CROSS By Doyle Davidson Chapter 5 Part 1 română/engleză

Au Venit Martorii Mincinoși, Capitolul 5, Partea 1

Dacă îl slujești pe Dumnezeu, trebuie să fii conștient de faptul că oamenii religioși vor aduce martori mincinoși ca să depună mărturie împotriva ta. Cum știu eu asta? Pentru că ei au adus martori mincinoși să depună mărturie împotriva lui Isus.

Tăria Duhului Său a predominat împotriva lor. Aveți Duhul Său în voi și tăria Duhului Său vă va face și pe voi să stați drepți.

Mergeți la Matei 26:57-68:

Atunci cei ce L-au arestat pe Isus L-au dus la Caiafa, marele preot, unde erau adunaţi cărturarii şi bătrânii (v.57).

Petru L-a urmat de la distanţă până la curtea marelui preot. A intrat înăuntru şi s-a aşezat împreună cu gărzile, ca să vadă care va fi sfârşitul (v. 58).

Conducătorii preoţilor şi întregul Sinedriu căutau vreo mărturie falsă împotriva lui Isus, ca să-L poată condamna la moarte (v. 59);

Ei căutau martori mincinoși. Ei nici măcar nu voiau adevărul. Este uimitor cum un consiliu de mari preoți, bătrâni și oameni religioși au căutat martori mincinoși împotriva lui Isus. Nu vedeți înșelăciunea? Este aceeași înșelăciune pe care o vedem astăzi în trupul lui Hristos printre liderii religioși. Este mărturia mincinoasă.

În anii 1970 am auzit un lider confesional care spunea despre aceia dintre noi care vorbesc în limbi că vorbim prostii și că vorbirea aproape că nu se înțelege. El este un om care se înșeală și care trebuie să se pocăiască.

Dumnezeu mi-a spus că toți cei care au spus asta trebuie să se pocăiască. Oamenii care fac acuzații mincinoase despre Creștinii carismatici au același Duh ca și cei care au adus mărturie mincinoasă împotriva lui Isus pentru a-L omorî.

Mijlocire pentru Poporul lui Dumnezeu

M-am rugat lui Dumnezeu pentru acuzațiile care sunt aduse împotriva Creștinilor carismatici în America. M-am rugat pentru bătrânii și liderii religioși care au râs în fața Creștinilor carismatici și care ne-au numit culte.

Nu am fost crescut ca un Creștin carismatic, dar rugăciunea mea către Dumnezeu este la fel ca rugăciunea lui Moise către Tată când El a vrut să distrugă poporul Evreu. Rugăciunea mea – mijlocirea mea – a început atunci când am auzit despre sentința care i-a fost dată lui Jim Bakker.

Am spus "Doamne, nu te voi lăsa să mergi mai departe. Așa cum a spus Moise, Ești supărat și judecata Ta a început în casa Domnului. Dar nu faci decât să le oferi oamenilor confesionali oportunitatea de a spune 'Asta dovedește că acești oameni nu sunt ai Domnului; asta dovedește că acești oameni sunt implicați într-un cult.' "

Am început să mă rog și să mijlocesc și să stau în fața Domnului și am spus, "Asta este suficient. Voi fi ca Moise. Poți să mă ștergi din carte dacă dorești, dar judecata a mers prea departe pentru carismatici. În ceea ce mă privește, Tu trebuie să ai milă pentru ei."

PROFEȚIE:

Domnul nostru stăpânește. Iar El va veni înapoi și veți știi că El este Dumnezeu. El este Dumnezeu în acest pământ și voi veți afla că aceia dintre noi care nu sunt în organizațiile voaste, dar au devenit independenți nu se vor închina organizațiilor voastre religioase și tradițiilor voastre religioase. Dar noi vom merge mai departe cu puterea lui Dumnezeu și vom demonstra puterea de pe acest pământ. Și veți putea vedea atunci că Dumnezeul lui Avraam, Isaac și lacov locuiește în acești oameni care sunt numiți carismatici și culte, așa cum ați spus. Dar, în loc să faceți asta, i-ați criticat și condamnat și i-ați judecat. Dar eu vă voi spune că judecata Mea va veni pe pământ și că niciun om nu va scăpa. Dar judecata Mea va începe în casa Domnului și se va răspândi pe tot pământul. Și toată lumea va știi că Eu sunt Domnul lui Avraam, Isaac și Iacov care L-a trimis pe fiul Său să moară pentru întreaga omenire și că toți cei care cred în El – ceea ce înseamnă să te bazezi pe, să aderezi la și să ai încredere în El – vor vedea în El salvarea.

False Witnesses Came, By Doyle Davidson, Chapter 5 Part 1

If you are serving God, you need to be aware that religious people will bring false witnesses to testify against you. How do I know? They brought false witnesses to testify against Jesus.

The strength of His Spirit prevailed against them. You have His Spirit in you, and the strength of that Spirit will make you stand, as well.

Turn to Matthew 26:57-68:

And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled (v. 57).

But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end (v. 58).

Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death (v. 59);

They sought false witness. They did not even want the truth. It is amazing that a council of chief priests, and elders, and religious people sought false witness against Jesus. Do you see the deceit? It is the same deceit that I see today in the body of Christ among the religious leaders. It is false witness.

In the 1970’s, I heard a denominational leader say about those of us who speak in other tongues that we were babbling gibberish, and that it is merely unintelligible speaking. He is a mistaken man, and he needs to repent.

God has told me that everyone who has said that needs to repent. The people who make false accusations about charismatic Christians have the same spirit as those who brought false witness against Jesus to put Him to death.

Intercession for God’s People

I have been praying to God about the accusations that are brought against the charismatic Christians in America. I have been praying for the elders and religious leaders who have laughed at charismatic Christians and have called us cults.

I was not raised as a charismatic Christian, but my prayer to God is as Moses prayed to the Father when He wanted to destroy the Jewish people. My prayer—my intercession—began when I heard about the sentence that was given to Jim Bakker.

I said, “God, I will not let you go any farther. As Moses said, You are angry, and Your judgment has begun in the house of God. But You are only giving opportunity for denominational people to say, ‘That proves that these people are not of God; that proves that these people are involved in a cult.

I began to pray and intercede and stand before God, and I said, “That is enough. I will be as Moses. You can blot me from the book if You want to, but judgment has gone far enough with the charismatics. As far as I am concerned, You need to have mercy on them.”

I believe that God heard my prayer. You can think what you want, but my message to the elders, and the chief priest, and the religious leaders in this land is this:

PROPHECY:

Our God reigns. And He will come back, and you will know that He is God. He is God in this earth, and you will find out that those of us who are not joined to your organizations, but have become independents, will not bow to your religious organizations and your religious traditions. But we will go forth in the power of God and demonstrate that power in this earth. And you will have to see then that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob indwells this people that are called charismatics and cults, as you have said. But, in fact, God would say unto you: it is you that need to look within yourself and see what kind of an organization you are, see what kind of people you are, and see if you have sought to follow Me and to obey My commandments and to do them and to harken to My voice. Or will you find that you are joined to your idols, and that you are prideful and lifted up with your intellect, and in fact, that you have not taken the time to humble yourself and pray and seek My face and pray for these that are out there that you think are not being led by Me? But, instead, you have criticized and condemned and brought judgment upon them. But I would say to you that My judgment will certainly come forth in the earth, and no man shall escape. But My judgment will begin in the house of God, and it shall spread throughout the land. And the world shall know that I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who sent His son to die for the entire human race, and that everyone who will believe in Him-which means to rely on, to adhere to, and to trust in Him-will see His salvation.

Thank you, Lord Jesus. I did not know that the Spirit of God would have me say that, but He obviously did.

ISUS PE CRUCE/JESUS ON THE CROSS By Doyle Davidson Chapter 4 Part 2 română/engleză

America trebuie să se Pocăiască, Capitolul 4, Partea 2

Statele Unite ale Americii trebuie să se pocăiască. Trebuie să creadă în Dumnezeu. Nu există nicio autoritate pe pământ, decât dacă Dumnezeu o oferă – nici măcar Congresul Statelor Unite. Pe unii din acei oameni i-ar șoca dacă ar citi Romani 13:4 și ar afla că ei sunt niște simple instrumente, sau miniștri, ale lui Dumnezeu pentru ca eu și voi să facem bine dacă Îl ascultăm pe El.

În Luca capitolul 11, Isus se află la cină cu unul dintre farisei și El spune în versetul 42:

Dar vai de voi, fariseilor! Căci voi daţi zeciuială din mentă, din rută şi din orice zarzavat, dar neglijaţi dreptatea şi dragostea lui Dumnezeu! Pe acestea trebuia să le faceţi, iar pe acelea să nu le neglijaţi!.

Unul dintre experții în lege a răspuns și i-a zis Lui:

Învăţătorule, spunând aceste lucruri, ne insulţi şi pe noi! (v. 45).

Acest expert în lege a fost ofensat. Apoi Isus a spus:

Vai şi de voi, experţi în Lege! Căci îi faceţi pe oameni să ducă poveri grele de purtat, dar voi nu le atingeţi nici măcar cu unul din degetele voastre! (v. 46).

Vai de voi! Căci voi zidiţi mormintele profeţilor pe care i-au ucis strămoşii voştri! (v. 47).

Prin urmare, voi sunteţi martori şi încuviinţaţi faptele strămoşilor voştri, căci ei i-au ucis, iar voi le zidiţi mormintele! (v. 48).

De aceea înţelepciunea lui Dumnezeu a zis: «Le voi trimite profeţi şi apostoli, însă pe unii dintre ei îi vor ucide, iar pe alţii îi vor persecuta» (v. 49):

Dumnezeu a trimis apostoli și prooroci și în America.

Isus a continuat în versetul 50:

Ca să se ceară de la această generaţie sângele tuturor profeţilor, care a fost vărsat de la întemeierea lumii;

Dumnezeu va cere "experții în lege" ai acestei generații -- congresiști și senatori și legislatori -- pentru a da socoteală pentru acțiunile lor.

Isus încheiat, în versetul 52:

Vai de voi, experţi în Lege! Căci aţi luat cu voi cheia cunoaşterii; nici voi n-aţi intrat şi i-aţi împiedicat astfel şi pe cei ce intrau!.

Orice congresist care ar spune că Congresul și nu Dumnezeu are autoritatea de a face legi a pus deja deoparte cheia cunoașterii.

Dumnezeu va Conduce în America

Este timpul pentru ca proorocii și apostolii care au cuvântul lui Dumnezeu în gurile lor să vorbească atât “prinților din America” cât și profeților care tencuiesc cu "tencuială din ipsos" și să le spună că Dumnezeu le va cere socoteală.

Acest popor nu este gata pentru Dumnezeu, dar va fi gata. Aceasta este cea mai glorioasă oră din istoria pământului. Vi-L puteți imagina pe Dumnezeu corectând cele patru miliarde de oameni de pe pământ și guvernând în mijlocul lor?

Este asta puterea? Slava adusă lui Dumnezeu, asta este puterea. Acesta este Dumnezeul lui Avraam, Isaac și Iacov.

Isus i-a spus lui Pilat, guvernatorului Roman, "N-ai avea nicio autoritate asupra Mea dacă nu ţi-ar fi fost dată de sus." Asta e ceea ce El spune Statelor Unite astăzi.

Pur și simplu rugați-vă

Ce putem face noi, ca și creștini, referitor la această națiune? Uneori Dumnezeu îmi spune mie ce să fac, iar alteori este tăcut. Îl voi întreba eu, "Doamne, ce vrei să fac eu?" El îmi spune, "Pur și simplu roagă-te. Pur și simplu mulțumește-mi.". Eu întreb "Ce ai de gând să faci?". Răspunsul Lui va fi, "Mulțumește-Mi."

În ceea ce privește Statele Unite, tot ce știu să fac e să-I mulțumesc Lui. Nu știu ce se va întâmpla. Dar când este gata, Statele Unite vor ști că "Dumnezeu este pe tronul Său" așa cum oamenii religioși spun.

Când președintele Bush a fost ales în 1988, a promis că Statele Unite vor fi o "națiune mai amabilă, mai blândă". Acest lucru m-a deranjat în duhul meu. M-am gândit pentru mulți ani că politicile economice ale acestei națiuni au fost iresponsabile și nu am fost sigur că America are nevoie să fie o națiune mai "blândă".

America Must Repent, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 4 Part 2

The United States of America must repent. It must believe God. There is no authority in the earth unless God gives it—not even the Congress of the United States. It would shock some of those people to read Romans 13:4 and find out that they are merely instruments, or ministers, of God for you and me to do good if be obey Him.

In Luke chapter 11, Jesus was at dinner with one of the Pharisees, and He said, in verse 42:

But woe unto you, Pharisees! For ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

One of the lawyers answered, and said to him:

Master, thus saying thou reproaches us also (v. 45).

This lawyer was offended. Then Jesus said,

Woe unto you also, lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers (v. 46).

Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them (v. 47).

Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchers (v. 48).

Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute (v. 49):

God has sent prophets and apostles to America, too.

Jesus continued, in verse 50:

That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

God will require the “lawyers” of this generation—the congressmen and senators and legislators—to give account for their actions.

Jesus concluded, in verse 52:

Woe unto you lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Any congressman who would say that Congress and not God has the authority to make laws has taken away the key of knowledge.

God Will Rule in America

It is time for the prophets and apostles who have the word of God in their mouths to speak both to the “princes” of America and to the prophets who daub them with “untempered morter,” and tell them God will require them to give account.

This nation is not ready for God, but it is going to become ready. This is the most glorious hour in the history of the earth. Can you imagine God correcting the four billion people on the earth and ruling in the midst of them?

Is that power? Glory be to God, that is power. That is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Jesus said to Pilate, a Roman governor, “You could have not have any power unless it were given to you from above.” That is what He is saying to the United States today.

Simply Pray

What can we as Christians do about this nation? Sometimes God tells me what to do, and other times He is silent. I will ask Him, “God what do you want me to do?” He tells me, “Simply pray. Simply thank Me.” I ask, What are you going to do?” His answer will be, “Thank Me.”

With respect to the United States, all I know to do is thank Him. I do not know what will happen. But when it is over, the United States will know that “God is on His throne,” as religious people would say.

When President Bush was elected in 1988, he promised that the United States would be a “kinder, gentler nation.” That bothered my spirit. I had thought for years that the economic policies of this nation were irresponsible, and I was not sure that America needed to be a “gentler” nation.

The Lord knew I was troubled, and one night as I was praying, God spoke to me clearly: “Fear not; I am with President Bush.” Let me tell you, that comforted me, and it should comfort you.

Izbăvirea prizonierilor

Francesco (Frank) Venditto, unchiul meu, s-a născut în Napoli, Italia. A venit în America cu mama și tatăl său și încă doi frați atunci când avea un an, prin 1921 sau 1922.

Părinții săi, Luigi Venditto și Maria Carman (Tranquillo) Venditto s-au născut amândoi în Italia și după ce au venit în America au mai avut încă șase copii. Din nefericire, unul dintre copii a avut un accident – bebelușul stătea lângă foc pentru a se încălzi și o flacără a ieșit și l-a ars. Se pare că bunica mea a lipsit pentru un singur moment, iar el a murit din cauza arsurilor și a traumei.

Când eram mic, voiam mereu să îl întreb pe unchiul meu despre experiențele sale din Al Doilea Război Mondial. Aveam în jur de 8-10 ani și țin minte că mama mea se enerva că puneam atât de multe întrebări. Voiam mereu să stau și să ascult ce avea el de spus despre aventurile sale.

Să mergem acum mai departe. Francesco a terminat liceul și în 1941 s-a înrolat în armata Statelor Unite. Tatăl meu și fratele său, (Francesco) Frank, aveau amândoi sub vârsta legală când s-au înrolat. Dacă ați văzut filmul “Camarazi de război (Band of Brothers)”, unchiul meu a luptat în multe bătălii de acel gen. Țin minte cum îmi spunea povestea despre cum a fost în “Bătălia din Bulge”. El stătea într-un loc de observare la înălțime împreună cu colonelul, uitându-se la luptă. Povestea despre cum dormea sub jeep noaptea și cum se mișca pământul din cauza bombelor și a bătăliei care se desfășura în forță. Cu siguranță că a văzut multe. Nu intra foarte mult în detalii și povestea cu grijă numai lucrurile despre care știa că e confortabil să vorbească.

Mai spunea o poveste, despre un moment în care conduceau în prima zi de după dezastru, când cineva înjura o furtună și spunea: “Pleacă… pleacă de aici!” S-a întors și acolo era generalul Patton care ținea cele două pistoale cu mâner de perlă de calibru 45 și înjura către el. A ținut minte cum a văzut un bărbat evreu dezbrăcat, tot piele și os, și a încercat să vorbească cu el. Bărbatul a fugit pe lângă el, Frankie a început să îl strige “Hei, hei!”, dar tot ce a mai putut să vadă a fost spatele gol al bărbatului care fugea pe deal, până când a dispărut la orizont. Frankie mi-a spus că acea imagine nu i-a ieșit niciodată din minte.

De multe ori, mama mea se supăra pentru că puneam prea multe întrebări și îmi spunea să îl las pe Frankie în pace. Ei bine, nu o ascultam, pentru că eram atât de fascinat de poveștile lui și știam că o să primesc noi informații și bucăți de povești de fiecare dată când puneam o întrebare.

Frankie mi-a spus că a mers la Cuibul de vulturi al lui Hitler. Poate știți ce era acest loc, era locul lui de retragere unde ținea toate prăzile. Acolo era aurul, argintul, tablourile și tot felul de alte lucruri pe care Hitler le colecționa. Unchiul meu spune că ține minte cum a văzut tablourile, dar că dacă știa că erau Rembrandt, sigur avea unul astăzi; el nu știa nimic despre tablouri. Apoi generalii au venit și li s-a spus să plece, iar generalii au trimis camioane pentru a lua toate bunurile.

Frankie a adus tot felul de lucruri din război: pistoale Luger germane, medalii, inele și avea și un pumnal de ofițer cu mâner de perlă. Aducea aceste obiecte în casă și ne lăsa să ne uităm la toate. A luat și multe bancnote și monede germane care nu aveau nicio valoare monetară. Încă am o monedă care este foarte prețioasă. Frankie a cumpărat aceiași mașină de personal pe care o folosea și Hitler, dar armata nu l-a lăsat să o transporte în State, așa că a lăsat-o acolo. Într-un final, a donat toate acestea Asociației Veteranilor de Războaie Străine.

Legat de viața personală a lui Frankie, acesta a fost logodit o dată, dar relația nu a funcționat din nu stiu ce motiv, așa că a rămas necăsătorit pe tot parcursul vieții. Unchiul Frankie a fost un bărbat foarte generos. După război, a lucrat ca tâmplar calificat și ca fermier cu fratele său. El a construit casa în care eu am copilărit și multe alte case din zona mea. Frankie a mai avut și o companie ce punea fundații pentru case, iar mai apoi în viața sa a lucrat cel mai mult ca fermier. Obișnuia să spună: “Copii, de ce aveți nevoie de toate lucrurile astea, când aveți aerul liber și puteți lucra ca fermieri și vă puteți bucura de tot ce a făcut Dumnezeu?” Unchiul meu a trăit o viață foarte simplă și atunci când a murit a lăsat o avere bună surorii sale. Chiar avea haine noi pe care nu le-a purtat niciodată. De obicei se îmbrăca într-un tricou alb sau albastru, cu pantaloni kaki și cizme de fermă. Cred că mai avea una sau două jachete sport și un costum pentru biserică și asta era tot.

Mi-a trecut prin minte, în timp ce compuneam această mărturie, că Dumnezeu a ales membri ai familiei mele să lupte într-un război care în final a eliberat poporul evreu. Isus din mine este același și astăzi ca cel ce s-a dus să elibereze evreii și neamurile.

Luca 4:18-19 spune:

Duhul Domnului este peste Mine, pentru că M-a uns să vestesc săracilor Evanghelia, M-a trimis să tămăduiesc pe cei cu inima zdrobită, să propovăduiesc robilor de război slobozirea şi orbilor, căpătarea vederii, să dau drumul celor apăsaţi (v. 18),

Și să vestesc anul de îndurare al Domnului (v. 19).

Mergeți acum la Ioan 19:10 și vă voi arăta un alt exemplu de putere a lui Isus și de lipsă a importanței omului.

În Ioan 19:10, Pilat i-a spus lui Isus:

... Nu vorbeşti cu mine? Nu ştii că am autoritate să Te eliberez şi am autoritate să Te răstignesc?

Isus nu i-a răspuns. Mă minunez la acest lucru. Îi mulțumesc lui Dumnezeu pentru tăria din acel om. El nu i-a răspuns guvernatorului Roman.

Dumnezeu mi-a demonstrat că nu trebuie să răspund niciunui om, decât dacă Dumnezeu îmi spune să o fac. Este o binecuvântare să știu asta, fiindcă autoritățile din Statele Unite cred că pot să te oblige să vorbești. Nimeni nu te poate face să vorbești dacă Dumnezeu nu vrea să vorbești.

Uitați-vă la versetul 10 din nou:

... Nu vorbeşti cu mine? Nu ştii că am autoritate să Te eliberez şi am autoritate să Te răstignesc?

Apoi, Isus a vorbit. Isus a vorbit doar atunci când l-a auzit pe Tatăl său spunându-I asta. Și în versetul 11, El a spus:

N-ai avea nicio autoritate asupra Mea dacă nu ţi-ar fi fost dată de sus. De aceea cel ce Mă dă pe mâna ta are un mai mare păcat.

Isus i-a spus lui Pilat, guvernatorului Roman din Iudeea, "Nu poți să ai nicio putere asupra mea decât dacă ți-e dată de sus."

Avem același Duh în noi pe care Isus l-a avut în El. Am văzut în cartea noastră anterioară, "Isus a Făcut Voia Tatălui", că noi trebuie să umblăm așa cum a umblat Isus. Am văzut cum a umblat el pe pământ și cum a fost dus El către cruce.

Am văzut că El a făcut numai ce l-a văzut pe Tată că face și a spus numai ce l-a auzit pe Tată că spune. A spus că Tatăl l-a auzit mereu pe El când îi vorbea. Acest lucru este minunat. Putem și noi să avem aceeași încredere -- aceeași credință.

Pilat a fost guvernator Roman și Isus i-a spus lui:

N-ai avea nicio autoritate asupra Mea dacă nu ţi-ar fi fost dată de sus. De aceea cel ce Mă dă pe mâna ta are un mai mare păcat. (v.11).

Dumnezeu ne Garantează Autoritatea

Recent, am auzit un congresist al Statelor Unite spunând la televiziune, "Dumnezeu nu îți dă oportunitatea de a deduce banii pe care i-i dai unei organizații scutite de impozit – Congresul o face." Acest congresist va învăța cine îi oferă lui autoritate, pentru că în momentul în care Dumnezeu decide că noi nu ar trebui să mai primim acea deducere, El o va schimba, fie că vrei tu, ca congresist, să O facă sau nu.

Am văzut mândria în acel om și am văzut orbirea acestui popor. Un lider religios cunoscut la nivel național a stat lângă el și nu i-a spus că se înșală.

Îmi doresc să fi fost eu cel așezat acolo. Aș fi spus, "Așteptați un minut, domnule congresist. Omul Isus numai ce a auzit ce ai spus și El are un cuvânt să îți spună. În orice moment în care tu nu-L apreciezi, El te poate scoate și poate pune pe altcineva în locul tău care Îl va onora.”

Ei au Tencuit cu Mortar Ipsos

Unul dintre cei mai importanți lideri religioși din Statele Unite a stat acolo în tăcere, fiindcă nu a vrut să îl ofenseze pe congresist sau fiindcă nu a avut cuvântul lui Dumnezeu lângă el. Proorocii din această țară trebuie să audă cuvintele pe care Dumnezeu I le-a spus lui Ezechiel în Ezechiel 22:2:

Fiul omului, vrei să judeci? Vrei să judeci cetatea cea setoasă de sânge? Atunci fă-i cunoscute toate urâciunile!

Dumnezeu l-a instruit pe Ezechiel să judece Israelul -- "să-i arate toate urăciunile" – nu să stea în tăcere pentru a nu ofensa pe cineva.

În Ezechiel 22:27-28, cuvântul Domnului a venit la Ezechiel și i-a spus să zică:

Conducătorii săi sunt în mijlocul ei asemenea lupilor care-şi sfâşie prada; ei varsă sânge şi pierd suflete ca să obţină un câştig necinstit. (v. 27).

Profeţii din mijlocul ei au pentru aceştia o tencuială din ipsos – viziuni deşarte şi preziceri mincinoase. Ei zic: «Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn!» Dar Domnul nu le-a vorbit. (v. 28).

"Tencuiala din ipsos" nu este cuvântul lui Dumnezeu. "Tencuiala din ipsos" este vanitatea și radiază minciuni. Proorocii Americii -- liderii religioși din această țară -- au tencuit pe "prinții" din acest pământ – congresiști, senatori și alți legislatori -- cu "tencuială din ipsos".

Turn now to John 19:10, and I will show you another example of the strength of Jesus and the unimportance of man.

In John 19:10, Pilate said to Jesus:

…Speakest thou not unto me? Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

Jesus would not answer him. I marvel at that. I thank God for the strength in that man. He did not answer the Roman governor.

God has shown me that I do not have to answer any man, unless God tells me to. That is a blessing to know, because authorities in the United States think they can force you to speak. No one can make you speak if God does not want you to.

Look at verse 10 again:

…Speakest thou not unto me? Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

Then, Jesus spoke. Jesus only spoke what he heard the Father say. And in verse 11, He said:

…Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Jesus said to Pilate, the Roman governor in Judaea, “You could have no power over me, unless it were given to you from above.”

We have the same Spirit in us that Jesus had in Him. We saw in our earlier book, “Jesus Did the Father’s Will,” that we are to walk as Jesus walked. We saw how he walked in the earth as He was led to the cross.

We saw that He only did what He saw the Father do, and He only said what He heard the Father say. He said that the Father always heard Him as He spoke. That is marvelous. We can have the same confidence—the same faith.

Pilate was the Roman governor, and Jesus said to him:

…Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin (v.11).

God Grants Our Authority

Recently, I heard a United States congressman say on television, “God does not give you the opportunity to deduct your money when you give it to a tax-free organization—Congress does.” That congressman is going to learn who gives him the authority, because any time God decides we should not have that deduction, He will change it, whether you want Him to or not.

I saw the pride in that man, and I saw the blindness of this nation. A nationally known religious leader sat next to that congressman and did not tell him that he was wrong.

I wish I had been sitting there. I would have said, “Wait a minute, Congressman. The man Jesus just heard what you said, and He has a word for you. Any moment you do not appreciate Him, He can remove you and put someone in your place who will honor Him.”

They Daub With Untempered Morter

One of the leading religious leaders in the United States sat there silently, because he did not want to offend the congressman or because he did not have the word of God in his mouth. The prophets in this country need to hear the words of God spoke to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 22:2:

Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? Yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.

God instructed Ezekiel to judge Israel—to “shew her all her abomination”—not to sit silently in order not to offend someone.

In Ezekiel 22:27-28, the word of the Lord came unto Ezekiel and told him to say:

Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain (v. 27).

And her prophets have daubed them with untampered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken (v. 28).

“Untempered morter” is not the words of God. “Untempered morter” is vanity and divining lies. The prophets of America—the religious leaders of this country—have daubed the “princes” in this land—the congressmen, senators, and other legislators—with “untampered morter.”

Deliverance To The Captives By Keith Leahy/ A Powerful Testimony from a very good friend

Francesco (Frank) Venditto, my uncle, was born in Naples, Italy. He came to America with his mom and dad and two other siblings when he was a year old, in the year 1921 or 1922.

His parents, Luigi Venditto and Maria Carman (Tranquillo) Venditto were both born in Italy and after coming to America, they eventually had six more children. Unfortunately, one of the babies was involved in an accident, where the baby was being warmed by the fire and a spark came out and burned the child. Apparently, my grandmother stepped away for just a moment and he died due to the burns and trauma.

When I was young it was always in my heart to ask my uncle about his experiences in WWII. I was maybe 8-10 years old and I remember my mom used to get annoyed that I would ask him so many questions. I always wanted to sit and listen to what he had to say about his adventures.

Now, to fast forward, Francesco finished high school and in 1941 he enlisted in the US army. My dad and his brother, (Francesco) Frank, were both under aged when they joined the service. Frank’s brother Michael, who both were fondly referred to as “Frankie and Mickie,” he also joined the army.

Mickie was stationed in Hawaii, in a secret reserve unit that was never discovered until after the war. It was kept secret on purpose and he was on his way to Japan for the Japanese invasion when they dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He stayed in Japan for the remainder of the war until he was sent home state side.

I remember sitting at Frankie’s feet in the old homestead living room, totally engaged, as I listened to him speak of the war. One funny account was when the question came up, if anyone knew how to drive a jeep, of course Frankie did not know, but he immediately said, “I do!” Which resulting in him taking on the job of the jeep driver for a full bird colonel.

He would relay how he was in the European campaign and drove all over Africa and Europe for the US Army. He traveled in the North African campaign, Italy, France, Denmark and eventually Germany and Austria.

If you have ever seen the movie, “Band of Brothers,” my uncle was in many of those battles. I remember he would tell the story of being in the “Battle of the Bulge.” He would be in an observation position on high ground with the colonel watching the battle. He would give account of how he would sleep under the jeep at night and the ground would shake with bombs and of the battle raging in full force. He certainly saw a lot and would not go into great detail, carefully expressing what he knew he was comfortable talking about.

He also told the story, one time as they were driving the next day in the aftermath, he could hear someone swearing up a storm, and saying, “Get the blankety…blank out of the way!” He turned and there was General Patton standing up with his two pearl handled 45’s, swearing at him. Frankie said he proceeded to pull out of the way and let him pass. He said it was just like in the movie Patton, exclaiming that General Patton was one tough son of a B.

I remember another time when he told me about freeing prisoners at a concentration camp. He had to shoot the guard dogs to gain entry into the camp. He remembered seeing a naked Jewish man who was just skin and bones and Frankie tried to talk to him. The man ran past him and Frankie kept calling after him, “Hey, hey,” and all he could see was the man’s naked behind running over the hill until he could not see him anymore. Frankie told me, that image never left him.

On many occasions, my Mom would get mad at me for asking so many questions, and she would tell me to leave Frankie along. Well, I did not listen to her, because I was so engaged in the stories and I knew I would receive new little bits and pieces each time I asked.

Frankie told me he went to Hitler’s Eagles nest. If you know what this was, it was his retreat and where all the spoils were kept. There was gold, silver, paintings and all kinds of stuff that Hitler collected. My uncle used to say, he remembered seeing the paintings, but if he knew they were Rembrandt’s he would have had one today; he knew nothing about the paintings. Then the generals arrived and they were told to clear out, as the generals sent trucks in to collect all of the spoils.

Frankie brought back all kinds of things from the war, German Lugers, medals, rings, and he also had pearl handled officer staff daggers. He would bring these items to our house and let us look over them all. He also acquired German currency that was worthless but a large amount of German dollar currency and coins. I still have one coin that is very valuable. Frankie bought the same staff car that Hitler used to use, but the army would not let him ship it state side so he left it there. He ended up donating all of this to the local VFW (Veterans of foreign wars).

Concerning Frankie’s personal life, he was engaged once, but it did not work out for whatever reason, so he remained unmarried throughout his life. He was a very kind, yet strong man, and was just plain pleasant to be around; but when he got mad it was just best to get out of his way. Uncle Frankie was a very generous man and he was also born again. After the war, he worked as a skilled carpenter as well as a farmer with his brother. He built the house I grew up in, and also many of the houses in my neighborhood. Frankie also had a foundation company where he would pour foundations for homes, and later in life he mainly worked as a farmer. He used to say, “You kids, what do you need all this stuff for, when you have the open air and work like I do as a farmer, and enjoy what God had made?” My uncle lived a very simple life and when he passed away he left a good fortune for his sisters. He literally had new clothes still in the packaging that he never wore. His standard outfit was a white or blue shirt, Khaki pants with boots for farming. I believe that he owned one or two sport jackets and one suit for church, and that was it.

It occurred to me while putting this testimony together, that God chose members of my family to be involved in a war that ultimately freed the Jewish people. Jesus in me is the same today, as he came to set the captives free both Jew and Gentile.

Luke 4:18-19 says,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (v. 18),

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (v. 19).
