Apostolii Au Predicat Evanghelia, Capitolul 6, Partea 1

După ce Isus a fost înviat din morți, El s-a arătat ucenicilor Săi. Uită-te la Luca 24:44-48:

Apoi le-a zis: Iată cuvintele pe care vi le spuneam când încă eram cu voi, că trebuie să se împlinească tot ce este scris despre Mine în Legea lui Moise, în Prooroci și în Psalmi (v. 44).

Atunci le-a deschis mintea, ca să înțeleagă Scripturile (v. 45),

Și le-a zis: Așa este scris, și așa trebuia să pătimească Hristos, și să învie a treia zi dintre cei morți (v. 46):

Care au fost “cuvintele” pe care Isus le-a vorbit ucenicilor Săi în timp ce era cu ei? Versetul 46 răspunde la această întrebare- “să pătimească Hristos, șî să învie a treia zi dintre cei morți.” Isus le-a povestit Evanghelia.

Continuă cu versetele 47-48:

Și să se propovăduiască tuturor neamurilor, în Numele Lui, pocăința și iertarea păcatelor, începând din Ierusalim (v. 47).

Voi sunteți martori ai acestor lucruri (v. 48).

Semne ce Urmează Propovăduirii Evangheliei

Marcu 16:15-18 ne spune ce le-a poruncit Isus apostolilor înainte de a se înălțat la cer:

Apoi le-a zis: Duceți-vă în toată lumea, și propovăduiți Evanghelia la orice făptură (v. 15).

Cine va crede și se va boteza, va fi mântuit; dar cine nu va crede, va fi osândit (v. 16).

Isus le-a spus, “Cine va crede și se va boteza va fi mântuit.” Ce trebuie să crezi pentru a fi mântuit? În versetul 15, Isus le-a poruncit celor unsprezece să meargă să predice Evanghelia. Tu trebuie să înțelegi că apoi, dacă ve crede Evanhelia- moartea, îngroparea, și învierea lui Isus, vei fi mântuit.

Citiți versetele 17-18:

Iată semnele care vor însoți pe cei ce vor crede: în Numele Meu vor scoate draci; vor vorbi în limbi noi (v. 17);

vor lua mână șerpi; dacă vor bea ceva de moarte, nu-i va vătăma; își vor pune mânile peste bolnavi, și bolnavii se vor însănătoși (v. 18):

Acestea sunt veretele ce ne spun care sunt semnele care urmează propovăduirii Evangheliei.

În timpul în care Dumnezeu îmi revela Evanghelia, am participat la diferite întâlniri carismatice. În aceste întâlniri, am auzit predicatori citind aceste versete din Marcu capitolul 16 și apoi spunând, “Dacă vrei vindecare, predică vindecare. Dacă vrei limbi, predică limbi. Dacă vrei prosperitate, predică despre prosperitate.” Cu toate acestea, versete sunt foarte clare și simple- semnele ce urmeze propovăduirii Evangheliei-moartea, îngroparea, și învierea lui Isus.

Dovada Evangheliei

După ce am văzut Evanghelia definită în I Corinteni capitolul 15, Duhul Sfânt mi-a dovedit că moartea, îngroparea, și învierea au fost într-adevăr Evanghelia, aratându-mi ce au predicat apostolii în cartea Faptele Apostolilor. Ne-am uitat la Marcu capitolul 16 și am văzut că Isus a poruncit celor unsprezece să meargă și să predice Evanghelia.

În Faptele Apostolilor, capitolul 2, Petru propovăduia în fața mulțimii care s-au adunat în ziua Cincizecimii, după ce ucenicii au fost umpluți cu Duhul Sfânt. În versetele 23-24, Petru, vorbind despre Isus, afirmă:

pe Omul acesta, dat în mâinile voastre, după sfatul hotărât și după știința mai dinainte a lui Dumnezeu, voi L-ați răsignit și L-ați omorât prin mâna cele fărădelege (v. 23):

Dar Dumnezeu L-a înviat, dezlegându-I legăturile morți, pentru că nu era cu putință să fie ținut de ea (v. 24).

Petru a predicat că Isus a fost răstignit și că Dumnezeu l-a înviat pe Isus din nou-în alte cuvinte, Petru a predicat Evanghelia.

Aș dori ca tu să acorzi o atenție deosebită versetului 37:

După ce au auzit aceste cuvinte, ei au rămas străpunși în înimă, și au zis lui Petru și celorlalți apostoli: Fraților, ce să facem?

Asta este ceea ce se întâmplă atunci când predici Evanghelia, moartea, îngroparea, și învierea lui Isus. Inimile oamenilor s-au “străpuns”. Cuvântul “străpuns” înseamnă înjunghiat sau pătruns complet.

Când am început participarea la întâlniri carismatice, am auzit diverse moduri de a propovădui unui evreu. Într-o Domnul m-a întrebat: “Vrei să știi cum să predici unui evreu?” Răspunsul meu a fost, “Bineînțeles.” El a spus, “citește Faptele Apostolilor capitolul 2.” Am văzut în Faptele Apostolilor capitolul 2 că Petru a predicat Evanghelia evreilor și ea a înțepat inimile lor.

Dacă veți continua să citiți Faptele Apostolilor capitolul 2, veți găsi că trei mii de suflete au fost mântuite în acea zi. Acest este ceea ce propovăduirea Evangheliei va face.

After Jesus was raised from the dead, He appeared unto His disciples. Look at Luke 24:44-48:

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets and in the psalms, concerning me (v. 44).

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures (v. 45),

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day (v. 46):

What were the “words” that Jesus spoke to his disciples while He was with them? Verse 46 answers this question- “it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day.” Jesus spoke the gospel to them.

Continue with verses 47-48:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem (v. 47).

And ye are witnesses of these things (v. 48).

Signs Follow the Preaching of the Gospel

Mark 16:15-18 give an account of what Jesus commanded the apostles before He ascended up into Heaven:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (v. 15).

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (v. 16).

Jesus told them “He that believeth an is baptized shall be saved.” What do you have to believe to be saved? In verse 15, Jesus commanded the eleven to go preach the gospel. You must conclude, then, that if you believe the gospel-the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, you shall be saved.

Read verses 17-18:

And these sign shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues (v. 17);

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (v. 18).

These verses tell us that signs follow the preaching of the gospel.

During the time that God was revealing the gospel to me, I was attending different Charismatic meetings. In these meetings, I heard preachers read these verses in Mark chapter 16 and then say, “If you want healing, preach healing. If you want tongues, preach tongues. If you want prosperity, preach on prosperity.” Yet, these verses are very clear and simple-signs follow the preaching of the gospel-the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Proof of the Gospel

Once I saw the gospel defined in I Corinthians chapter 15, the Holy Spirit proved to me that the death, burial, and resurrection was indeed the gospel by showing me what the apostles preached in the book of Acts. We looked at Mark chapter 16 and saw that Jesus commanded the eleven to go and preach the gospel.

In Acts chapter 2, Peter was preaching before the crowd that gathered on the day of Pentecost after the disciples had been filled with the Holy Ghost. In verses 23-24, Peter speaking about Jesus, states:

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain (v. 23):

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it (v. 24).

Peter preached that Jesus was crucified and the God raised Jesus up again-in other words, Peter preached the gospel.

I would like for you to give particular attention to verse 37:

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall be do?

This is what happens when you preach the gospel-the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. The people’s hearts were “pricked.” That word “pricked” means to stab or pierce thoroughly.

When I first started attending Charismatic meetings, I heard various ways to minister to a Jew. One day the Lord asked me, “Would you like to know how to witness to a Jew?” My reply was, “Sure.” He said, “Read Acts chapter 2.” I saw in Acts chapter 2 that Peter preached the gospel to the Jews and it pricked their hearts.

If you continue reading Acts chapter 2, you will find that three thousand souls were saved that day. That is what the preaching of the gospel will do.
