Evanghelia Definită, Capitolul 2

În studiile mele, am fost surprins când am văzut într-o zi că evanghelia este definită în I Corinteni 15: 1-4, la fel cum și credință este definită în Evrei 11:1. Pavel a predicat Evanghelia

Uită-te la versetul 1:

În plus, fraților, eu proclam evanghelia pe care v-o propovăduiesc, pe care ați primit-o și în care credeți (v. 1);

Pavel a spus că a predicat evanghelia către Corinteni și că ei au primit-o. Trebuie să primești evanghelia. Unde primești evanghelia? Primești evanghelia în inima ta-nu în mintea ta.

Versetul 1 spune că odată ce ai primit evanghelia, trebuie să crezi în ea. Nu poți să crezi numai într-un singur cuvânt al lui Dumnezeu. În Romani 1:9, Pavel afirmă acest lucru:

Dumnezeu mi-este martor, căruia Îi slujesc cu duhul meu în evanghelia Fiului Său, pe care neîncetat Îl pomenesc mereu în rugăciunile mele;

Pavel a spus că slujește pe Dumnezeu cu Duhul său în Evanghelie. Asta este ceea ce tu și eu ar trebui sa facem. Noi trebuie să credem în evanghelie, pentru că evanghelia este puterea lui Dumnezeu pentru mântuirea noastră.

Puterea Lui Dumnezeu

Cum știm că evanghelia este puterea lui Dumnezeu pentru mântuirea noastră? Ei bine, în Romani 1:16, Pavel afirmă:

Căci nu mi-e rușine cu Evanghelia lui Cristos: pentru că este puterea lui Dumnezeu pentru mântuirea fiecăruia care crede; întâi a evreului și, de asemenea, a Grecului.

Cuvântul “putere” în acest verset este cuvântul grecesc dunamis. Cuvântul înseamnă abilitate. Evanghelia este abilitatea lui Dumnezeu cu care îi mântuiește pe toți care vor crede.

Mântuirea

Cuvântul “mântuire” în Romani 1:16 înseamnă soliditate sau să fii în siguranță. Ea include experiența nașterii din nou, dar nu se termină aici.

Dumnezeu a făcut să fie foarte simplu pentru oameni să se nască din nou. Tot ce trebuie să faceți este să chemați numele lui Isus și să credeți că El a înviat din morți și spiritul vă va fi salvat. Romani 10:13 spune că oricine va chema numele Domnului vă fi mântuit.

Cum poate să prospere sufletul tău? I Petru 1:22 afirmă:

Văzând că v-ați curățit sufletele prin ascultarea adevărului, prin Duhul dragostei neprefăcute ale fraților, văd că vă iubiți unii pe alții cu ardoare și cu o inimă curată:

Trebuie să ascultăm adevărul pentru a ne purifica sufletul. Cuvântul “ascultare” în acest verset înseamnă a asculta cu supunere. Adevărul sub Noul Legământ include cuvintele Domnului Isus precum și orice alt lucru pe care Dumnezeu ți l-a poruncit să-l faci prin Duhul Său. Atunci, modul de a purifica sufletul este de a asculta cu supunere și de a face ceea ce a poruncit Dumnezeu să faci.

Păstrați Evanghelia în Memorie

Uită-te înapoi la I Corinteni 15:2:

Prin care [evanghelia] sunteți mântuiți, dacă păstrați în memorie ceea ce propovăduiesc și dacă nu credeți în zadar.

Versetul 2 afirmă că trebuie să memorați sau să țineți aproape evanghelia pentru a fi salvați-spirit, trup și suflet. Dacă țineți aproape evanghelia timp de o oră și credeți în altceva restul zilei, evanghelia nu vă va salva.

The Gospel Is Defined, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 2 Part 1

In my studies, I was astonished one day when I saw that the gospel is defined in I Corinthians 15:1-4, just as faith is defined in Hebrews 11:1. People frequently refer to Hebrews 11:1 as the definition of faith. Yet, seldom do you hear anyone refer to I Corinthians 15:1-4 as the definition of the gospel.

Read I Corinthians 15:1-4, and then we will look at each verse in more detail.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand (v. 1);

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain (v. 2).

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures (v. 3);

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (v. 4):

Paul Preached the Gospel

Look at verse 1:

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

Paul said he preached the gospel to the Corinthians and they received it. You have to receive the gospel. Where do you receive the gospel? You receive the gospel in your heart-not your intellect.

Verse 1 then states that once you have received the gospel, you must stand in it. You cannot simply stand on any word of God. In Romans 1:9, Paul states this:

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

Paul said that he served God with his spirit in the gospel. That is what you and I should do. We must stand in the gospel, because the gospel is the power of God for our salvation.

The Power of God

How do we know that the gospel is the power of God for our salvation? Well, in Romans 1:16, Paul states:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The word “power” in this verse is the Greek word, dunamis. It means ability. The gospel is the ability of God unto salvation to every one who will believe.

Salvation

The word “salvation” in Romans 1:16 means soundness or to set at safety. It includes the born-again experience, but it does not end there.

God made it very simple for people to be born again. All you have to do is call upon the name of Jesus and believe that He was raised from the dead, and your spirit will be saved. Romans 10:13 says that whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

However, salvation includes much more than simply being born again. Salvation includes everything that you need. III John 2 states:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Prosperity and health will come to you as your soul prospers.

How does your soul prosper? I Peter 1:22 states:

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

You must obey the truth to purify your soul. The word “obey” in this verse means to hearken submissively. The truth under the New Covenant includes the words of the Lord Jesus and any thing that God has commanded you to do by His Spirit. The way to purify your soul, then, is to hearken submissively and do what God has commanded you to do.

Keep the Gospel in Memory

Look back at I Corinthians 15:2:

By which [the gospel] also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Verse 2 states that you must keep in memory, or hold fast to, the gospel to be saved-be made sound-spirit, body, and soul. If you hold fast to the gospel for one hour and believe something else the rest of the day, the gospel will not save you.

It is God’s desire to make you sound spirit, body, and soul. Look at Ephesians 3:16. This is the prayer that Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus:

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

God wants you to be strengthened in your inner man which includes your will and your emotions.

How does God strengthen your inner man? One way is to pray in other tongues. Jude 20 states:

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Believe the gospel mix faith with it while you are praying in tongues, and you will build yourself up. You can also read the Psalms or the New Testament aloud the same way and build yourself up.

Ministry of the Spirit is another way that you can be strengthened in your inner man. In Romans 1:11, Paul states:

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

A person ministering the Spirit will impart spiritual gifts to you and establish you.

Chemarea Lui Dumnezeu, Capitolul 1

The Calling Of God, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 1

I would like to begin by sharing how God intervened in my life and called me to be a minister of the gospel. Just as God revealed the gospel to the Apostle Paul and sent him to preach to the world, God has revealed the gospel to me and sent me to preach to the world.

In August 1958, I was rotating the tires on my car. I had just been accepted into the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri after being discharged from the United States Navy. Suddenly, the presence of God was all around me. It was as though a cloud of clear gas surrounded me. God’s words encompassed me as He said, “I do not want you to be a veterinarian. I want you to be a minister of the gospel.” There was a great fear with the presence of God, and I found myself sitting there in the street praying aloud.

I could not believe that it was God, however, and I went ahead and entered the School of Veterinary Medicine in the fall. Several years later, God showed me that my unbelief was the reason I did not obey Him when He initially spoke to me that day in 1958.

Over the next ten years, I graduated from the University and conducted a very successful equine practice in North Texas. Yet, during those years, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me on numerous occasions, saying, “When are you going to preach the gospel?

In 1968, I began earnestly reading the Bible. Between 1968 and 1970, I read the Bible through twice from Genesis to Revelation. For the first time in my life, the scriptures would leap off the pages at me as I was reading. God was revealing the Word to me.

While practicing veterinary medicine, I invested in a number of businesses. One of those businesses was a corporation in which I held a twenty-five percent interest. In June 1969, I told God, “If this is You who has been bugging me all these years to preach the gospel, sell my interest in this corporation, I will do anything You ask.” The next day, quite to my surprise, two of the other stockholders came to me and offered to buy my interest in the corporation. We completed the transaction within two hours.

Two weeks later, God told me to sell the veterinary hospital that I built in McKinney, Texas. I told God, “I did not say that I would sell my veterinary hospital.” He replied, “You said that you would do anything that I asked.” I then said, “Well, I did not mean that I would sell my hospital.” However, I knew that God was speaking to me, and I knew that “anything” meant just that-anything, so this time I obeyed. Over the next several months, I sold my hospital and began divesting myself of many of my business investments and holdings. In May 1970, I said to the Lord, “Forgive me of my sins and be Lord of my life.”

The Gospel of Your Salvation

One of the first passages of scripture that God began revealing to me was Ephesians 1:13-14. These verses state:

In whom [God] ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise (v. 13),

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory (v. 14).

I saw in verse 13 that the “gospel of your salvation” is called the word of truth. The word “gospel” and the word “salvation” were two words that I had heard all of my life in church, but I did not know what either word really meant.

Also, I found two separate experiences in verse 13-salvation through the gospel and a subsequent baptism in the Holy Spirit. I really knew nothing about either one, but over the next three or four years, God revealed them to me as I began an intense study of the bible.

I Corinteni 15:25 și 26 spune:

Căci El trebuie să domnească până când îi va pune pe toți vrăjmașii sub picioarele Sale (v.25).

Ultimul vrăjmaș care va fi distrus va fi moartea (v.26).

Ați citit asta vreodată?

Luați de seamă că I Corinteni 15:24 spune: “când El Îi va încredința Împărăția lui Dumnezeu Tatăl,, după ce va fi distrus orice conducător, orice autoritate și orice putere” El va împărăți până când toate regulile, autoritățile și orice putere vor fi date jos. Sunteți de acord?

Isaia 52:8 spune, “Străjerii tăi își înalță glasurile și strigă împreună de bucurie: căci văd cu aceiași ochi cum, Se întoarce Domnul în Sion.”

Vedeți ultima parte a acestui verset? “Căci văd cu aceiași ochi cum, Se întoarce Domnul în Sion.” Dacă Methodiștii, Baptiștii, Penticostalii, Catolicii, și celelalte confesiuni nu văd cu aceiași ochi că, Isus nu este Domnul lor, atunci voi nu sunteți în Sion.

Nu vă păcăliți! Dacă sunteți o persoană confesională, o persoană a Cuvântului, carismatică, și dacă nu învățați oamenii aceiași doctrină, atunci nu vedeți cu aceiași ochi, atunci nu puteți umbla înfrățiți unii cu celalți.

I Ioan 1:7 spune: “Dacă însă umblăm în lumină, după cum El este în lumină, avem părășie unii cu alții, iar sângele lui Isus, Fiul Său, ne curățește de orice păcat.” Priviți asta!

“Cu aceiași ochi...” “umblăm în lumină...” Isus este Lunina. El este Cuvântul manifestat în carne. Nu există loc pentru confesiuni. Nu există loc pentru divizare în trupul lui Hristos, pentru că toți ar trebui să vadă cu aceiași ochi.

Amos 3:3 spune aceste lucruri: “Merg oare doi oameni împreună, dacă nu s-au înțeles la aceasta?” Nu au cum. Cum pot oare să vadă cu aceiași ochi decât dacă au aceiași confesiune? Nu puteți avea Penticostali, Baptiști, Metodiști, “Cuvânt,” sau alte doctrine, și să spuneți că sunteți ai lui Hristos, decât dacă confesiunea voastră este de acord cu doctrina lui Hristos. Nu faci altceva decât să te păcălești. Te înșeli, prietenul meu.

În I Timotei 1:3, Pavel spune, “te-am îndemnat să rămâi în Efes ca să le poruncești unora să nu dea altă învățătură,...” Acest verset spune, “să nu dea altă învățătură.”

Biblia este simplă. Este scrisă pe nivelul unui elev de clasa a cincea. Dacă poți citi la nivelul unui elev de clasa a cincea, atunci poți citi Biblia. Dacă ve deveni umil, atunci Dumnezeu îți va oferi înțelegere.

Privește ultima parte a lui Isaia 52:8, “căci văd cu aceiași ochi” -- glorie Dumnului-- “cum Se întoarce Domnul în Sion.” Sionul este cu siguranță biserica.

Dumnezeu va aduce Biserica spre unitate--pentru ca oamenii să vadă cu aceiași ochi. Efeseni 4:3 spune că ar trebui să “Străduiți-vă să păstrați unitatea pe care o dă Duhul prin legătura păcii.” “Păstrați unitatea Duhului.” “Străduiți-vă...pentru a o păstra.” Dumnezeu ne va face să vedem lucrurile cu aceiași ochi.

Efeseni 4:13 spune, “până când vom ajunge toți la unitate în credință și în cunoașterea Fiului lui Dumnezeu,...” Acest verset ne spune că trebuie să ajungem la unitatea în credință și la cunoașterea Fiului lui Dumnezeu. Iar apoi vom vedea cu aceiași ochi.

Va trebui să mergeși înainte cu mine chiar dacă vă place sau nu, pentru că doctrina pe care eu o predict este Isus. Doctrina Lui vine de pe tronul Său, prin Duhul Său, către inima mea. Va trebui să mergeți cu mine și să vedeți cu aceiași ochi. Nu puteți să vă ascundeți în spatele doctrinei voastre confesionale. Nu puteți să vă ascundeți în spatele credințelor false și a minciunilor și să spuneți că Îl iubiți pe Isus. Asta nu poate fi adevărat.

Isus vă va confrunt și vă va provoca în acea zi din cauza acțiunilor voastre ipocrite.

O PROFEȚIE

Vă spun vouă, dacă deveniți umili, și vă rugați, și Îmi căutați Fața, și vă depărtați de căile rele, veți auzi Raiul. Vă voi ierta păcatele răzvrătirii. Vă voi vindeca pământurile. Dumnezeu vă va spune, că ați căutat căi care nu sunt căile Mele. Ați umblat după căi care nu sunt ale Mele. Ați umblat după zei stranii. Ați umblat după zei ai prosperității și după zei ai vindecării, când de fapt nu există acești zei. Nu ați căutat Dumnezeul lui Avraa, Isaac. și Iacob, Dumnezeul care vă vindecă, Dumnezeul care vă dă bogăție, Dumnezeul care vă face să prosperați, Dumnezeul care vă face sufletul să prospere și conform acestuia, vă va da sănătate. Dar ați căutat zei stranii și zeii stranii nu există. V-ați depărtat de cale, ați făcut o greșeală și ați râvnit la bani și câștiguri murdare. V-ați împărțit sufletul. V-ați depărtat de Dumnezeul care vă iubește. Deveniți umili astăzi, și întoarceți-vă la Dumnezeu, la Dumnezeul care vă iubește, la prima iumire, la Domnul care v-a scs din pustie, Dumnezeul care vi S-a revelat, v-a vindecat și v-a făcut prosperi, v-a iertat păcatele și v-a îndrumat către calea cea bună. Iar apoi Dumnezeu vă va primi în aceiași zi, așa a spus Domnul. Vă va primi ca niște oi rătăcite, și vă va duce către țarc, și vă va înrădăcina. Iar voi veți fi apoi pentru El o binecuvântare a pământului, așa a spus Domnul.

Ei bine, lăudat fie Domnul! Dumnezeu mi-a vorbit acum cinci ani și mi-a spus că Biserica din Americii nu poate să facă diferența dintre mâna dreaptă și mâna stângă. Asta s-a petrecut acum cinci ani, în iulie 1985. Mi-a spus în acel moment, “Voi judeca Statele Unite ale Americii cu ajutorul gurii tale.”

Our God Reigns, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 13

In Isaiah, chapter 52, the prophet Isaiah prophesied by the Spirit of God, about 750 years prior to Jesus’ coming, dying, being buried, and rising again. He prophesied in verse 7:

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Does your God reign? Or do you know Jesus just as Savior? Have you ever been told that Jesus reigns?

I Corinthians 15:25 and 26 say:

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet (v.25).

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (v.26).

Have you every read that?

Notice what I Corinthians 15:24 says: “When he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.” He is going to reign until all rule, authority, and power have been put down. Would you agree?

Isaiah 52:8 says, “Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.”

Do you see the last part of this verse? “For they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.” If Methodists, Baptists, Pentecostals, Catholics, and all other denominations do not see eye to eye, Jesus is not your Lord, and you are not in Zion.

Do not kid yourself! If you are a denominational person, Word person, charismatic, or something else, and if you do not teach the same doctrine, then you do not see eye to eye. If you do not see eye to eye, then you cannot walk in fellowship, one with another.

I John 1:7 states: “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” See this!

“Eye to eye..” “Walk in the light...” Jesus is the Light. He is the Word that was manifested in the flesh. There is no place for denominations. There is no place for divisions in the body of Christ because all should see eye to eye.

Amos 3:3 makes this statement: “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” They cannot. How can you see eye to eye unless you have the same doctrine? You cannot have your Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist, “Word,” or other doctrine, and say that you are of Christ unless your doctrine agrees with the doctrine of Christ. You are only kidding yourself. You are deceived, my friend.

In I Timothy 1:3, Paul says, “That you mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,...” That verse says, “No other doctrine.”

The Bible is simple. It is written on a fifth grade level. If you can read on a fifth grade level, you can read the Bible. If you will humble yourself, God will give you understanding.

Notice the last part of Isaiah 52:8, “They shall see eye to eye”-- glory be to God--”when the Lord shall bring again Zion.” Zion is surely the church.

God is going to bring the church into unity--eye to eye. Ephesians 4:3 says we should “endeavour...to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” “Keep the unity of the Spirit.” “Endeavour...to keep it.” God is going to bring us eye to eye.

Ephesians 4:13 says, “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,...” This verse tells us that we must come into the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God. Then we will see eye to eye.

You are going to have to walk with me whether you like it or not, because the doctrine I preach is Jesus. His doctrine is coming forth from His throne, by His Spirit, through my heart. You will have to walk with me and see eye to eye. You cannot hide behind your denominational doctrine. You cannot hide behind falsehoods and lies and say that you love Jesus. That cannot be true.

Jesus is confronting you and challenging you this day because of your hypocritical actions.

A PROPHECY

I say to you, if you will humble yourself, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from your wicked ways, you will hear from heaven. I will forgive your sins of rebellion. I will heal your land. The Lord would say unto you, that you have sought ways that are not My ways. You have gone after ways that are not Mine. You have gone after strange gods. You have gone after gods of prosperity and gods of healing, where there are no such gods. You have not sought the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God that health thee, the God that giveth you wealth, the God that causes you to prosper, the God that prospereth your soul, and, accordingly, will prosper you and give you health. But you have sought strange gods and sought gods that do not exist. You have departed from the way and erred and have coveted money and filthy lucre. You have pierced asunder your own soul. You departed from the God that loves you. Humble yourself this day, and return to God, the God that loves you, your first love, the God that led you out of the wilderness, the God that revealed Himself unto you, healed you and made you prosperous, forgave your sins and led you in a right way. Then God will receive you this day, saith the Lord. He will receive you as a sheep gone astray, and bring you into that fold, and plant you. Then you will be to Him a blessing in the earth, saith the Lord.

Well, praise God! God spoke to me five years ago and said that the church of America could not discern its left hand from its right hand. That was five years ago in July, 1985. He told me that moment in time, “I am going to judge the United States of America with your mouth.”

I could not believe that then, but I do now. I accept that. If you can accept that, praise God. If you cannot, that is fine, too. That is not a problem to me. That is between God and you.

When God brings again Zion, the church will see eye to eye. Praise God! The church will see eye to eye when it has heard the gospel and has believed it. Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day. This is a great time to serve God and obey Him!

Dacă auzi și înțelegi, asculți și primești, și asculți și păstrezi Cuvântul Domnului, știi ce se va întâmpla cu tine? Cuvântul te va converti.

Trebuie să îl auzi și să îl primești. Trebuie să primești aceste cuvinte--că Isus a murit, a fost îngropat și a înviate din nou pentru tine. Doar pentru tine! Dacă nu mai exista nicio altă persoană pe fața pământului, atunci el ar fi murit și ar fi înviat din nou pentru tine. Ascultă și primește Cuvântului Domnului.

Ce vrea să spună Matei 13:23? “Cel care aude cuvântul și-l înțelege;...” [Cuvântul Domnului]”? Ce înțelege? Că El a murit pentru tine! A murit și a mers în iad. A stat acolo trei zile. A fost acolo pentru tine. Înțelegi asta?

Isus a înviate din nou prin credința și lucrarea lui Dumnezeu. Dacă vei auzi aceste cuvine, le vei înțelege și le vei păstra, atunci ele te vor converti. Știi ce va face convertirea pentru tine? Îți va schimba viața.

Lumea le-a predicat oamenilor săi că oamenii trebuie să ia decizii religioase -- că trebuie sp ia decizia în acea zi de a-L urma pe Isus. Religia are un cântec numit “Am decis să Îl urmez pe Isus” Nu poți să decizi pur și simplu să Îl urmezi pe Isus. Poți să ajungi la El numai dacă Tatăl care L-a trimis pe El te cheamă și pe tine (Ioan 6:44).

Isus spune în Matei 16:24, “Dacă vrea cineva să vină după Mine, să se lepede de sine, să-și ia crucea și să Mă urmeze.” Nu tu decizi. Tu pur și simplu își iei crucea și Îl urmezi pe Isus.

Atunci când Îl urmăriți, El vă va conduce spre căi drepte în numele Său. Dumnezeu este Acela care vă conduce către pocăință. Dumnezeu este Acela care vă va conduce către căile cele dreapte.

Veți ajunge la un moment dat în drumul vostru cu Isus când veți crede că nu Îl veți mai putea urma. Atunci El vă va arăta Romani 8:35-39. El vă va spune că nici lucrurile din prezent, nici lucrurile din viitor, nici înălțimile, adâncimile, persecutările, nenorocirile, problemele sau alte lucruri, niciunele nu vă pot separa de iubirea Domnului.

II Ioan, versetul 6 se spune:

Iar dragostea este aceasta, să umblăm potrivit cu poruncile Lui. Aceasta este porunca, așa cum ați auzit de la început, să umblați în ea.

Numai Isus vă conduce viața și vă duce pe căile cele drepte, altfel nu veți merge nicăieri. Poate credeți că Îl urmați pe Isus dacă vă alăturați unei biserici. Poate credeți că Îl urmați pe Isus dacă vă alăturați unei organizații. Poate credeți că Îl urmați pe Isus dacă predicați Evanghelia, sau versiunea voastră a Evangheliei.

Voi fi direct. Dacă nu suntem conduși de Duhul lui Dumnezeu, Evrei 12:8 și Romani 8:14 ne spun că suntem bastarzi. Știți ce este un bastard? Un bastard este cineva care nu are un tată.

Ioan 14:18 spune că oamenii ce nu au Duhul Domnului sunt lipsiți de confort. Sunt lipsiți de tată. Nu au nu tată. Nu Îl cunosc pe Tatăl lor. Dacă nu sunteți botezați în Duhul Domnului, care vine atunci când ascultați Evanghelia și care este evidențiat prin vorbirea în limbi, atunci sunteți doar niște orfani spirituali.

Ascultați-mă, am fost și eu acolo. De aceea vă învăț ceea ce vă învăt. De aceea vă împărtășesc ceea ce vă împărtășesc. Vă vorbesc în cuvinte simple. Dacă nu aș vorbi în cuvinte simple, așa cum Isus le pune în inima și în gura mea, atunci nu vă vor fi de folos.

Mai mult, dacă nu vă declar vouă tot planul lui Dumnezeu (Faptele Apostolilor 20:27), este pentru că nu vă va fi de folos nici vouă și nici mie. Nu vreau să devin nefolositor! Vreau să fiu un servitor profitabil și loial atunci când mă voi afla la Marele Tron Alb al Judecății.

Ascultați Evanghelia și păstrați-o. Credeți că Isus a murit pentru voi, a fost îngropat și a înviat din nou a treia zi. Credeți aceste cuvinte!

The Importance Of Hearing And Keeping The Word, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 12

Three accounts in the New Testament -- Matthew, Mark, and Luke -- describe the parable of the sower. Mark 4:9 tells us that if we have ears to hear, we are to hear the Word of God.

Jesus taught the parable of the sower. He said that the sower goes and sows the Word. The Word that is sown is that Jesus died, was buried, and rose the third day.

Examine the scripture in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Matthew 13:23 says, “Heareth the word, and understandeth it;...” Mark 4:20 says, “Such as hear the word, and receive,...” Finally, 8:15 says, “Having heard the word, keep,...”

If you hear and understand, hear and receive, and hear and keep God’s Word, do you know what will happen to you? That Word will convert you.

You must hear and receive it. You must receive these words--that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for you. Just for you! Had there not been another person on the face of this earth, He would have died and would have been raised again for you. Hear and receive the Word of God.

What does Matthew 13:23 mean? “Heareth the word, and understandeth it;...” [God’s Word]”? Understand what? That He died for you! He died, and He went to hell. He was there three days. He was there for you. Do you understand that?

He rose again through the faith of the operation of God. If you will hear these words, and understand and keep them, then they will convert you. Do you know what conversion will do for you? It will change your life.

The world has had preached to it that people must make a religious decision--that they must make a decision this day to follow Jesus. Religion has a song entitled, “I have Decided to Follow Jesus.” You cannot just decide to follow Jesus. You can come to Him only if the Father which has sent Him draws you (John 6:44).

Jesus said in Matthew 16:24, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” You do not decide. You simply take up your cross and follow Jesus.

When you follow Him, He is going to lead you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. God is the One who leads you unto repentance. God is the One who will lead you in paths of righteousness.

You will encounter a time in your walk with Jesus when you will think that you cannot follow Him another step. Then He will show you Romans 8:35-39. He will tell you that neither present things, future things, nor height, depth, persecution, affliction, troubles, or any other thing can separate you from the love of God.

II John, verse 6 says:

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Unless Jesus takes your life and leads you in paths of righteousness, you are not going anywhere. You make think that you are following Jesus by joining a church. You may think that you are following Jesus by joining an organization. You may think that you are following Jesus by preaching the gospel, or your version of the gospel.

Let me be blunt. If we are not led by the Spirit of God, Hebrews 12:8 and Romans 8:14 tell us that we are bastards! It is that simple. Do you know what a bastard is? A bastard is one who is without a father.

John 14:18 says that people without the Holy Ghost are comfortless. They are fatherless. They do not have a father. They do not know their Father. Unless you have the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which comes by hearing the gospel and is evidenced by speaking in other tongues, you are just a spiritual orphan.

Listen, I have been there. That is why I teach what I teach. That is why I can share what I share. I speak plain words. If I do not speak plain words, as Jesus puts them in my heart and in my mouth, then they will not profit you.

Further, if I shun to declare unto you all the counsel of God (Acts 20:27), it will not profit you, nor will it profit me. I do not want to find myself a castaway! I want to find myself a profitable, faithful servant when I stand at the Great White Throne Judgement.

Hear the gospel and keep it. Believe that Jesus died for you, was buried, and rose again the third day. Believe these words!

Importanța Credinței Aceasta Vine Ascultând Evanghelia, Capitolul 11

Credința este necesară pentru a crede sau pentru a asculta Cuvântul Domnului. Cum vă obțineți credința?

Credința vine atunci când credeți Evanghelia. Romani 10:17 spune că ea vine ascultând și că ascultatul vine prin Cuvântul Domnului. Dacă vreți să ascultați și să credeți Cuvântul Domnului, trebuie să ascultați Evanghelia.

Uitați-vă la Romani 10:16:

Însă nu toți au acceptat veștile bune, pentru că Isaia spune: , Doamne, cine a crezut mesajul nostru?

Cuvântul Domnului pe care trebuie să îl ascultați este Evanghelia. Totuși, nu toată lumea crede Evanghelia. Vreau ca voi să vedeți că a vă supune Evangheliei și a crede Evanghelia sunt unul și același lucru.

Credința vine crezând Evanghelia. Credința nu vine atunci când ai o mărturisire pozitivă a Cuvântului lui Dumnezeu. Doar pentru că te mărturisești ca fiind drept, iertător sau bogat, nu înseamnă că mărturisirea ta va fi ascultată.

Dacă voi credeți că Isus a murit, a fost îngropat și a înviat din nou a treia zi, atunci credeți Evanghelia. Dacă Isus este Domnul vieții voastre, Îl veți servi cu spiritul vostru în Evanghelie. Dacă voi credeți în Evanghelie, vă veți și supune Evangheliei.

Dacă nu vă supuneți Evangheliei, nu credeți în ea. Lăsați-mă să mai subliniez că dacă ascultați de Evanghelia, atunci credeți că Isus a murit, a fost îngropat și a înviat a treia zi!

Știți ce zice Pavel în Filipeni 3:5 și 6? El spune că a fost un Fariseu și că, luând calea cea bună, care este legea, a rămas fără de prihană. Și în versetle 8-10 spune:

Mai mult decât atât, le consider pe toate o pierdere față de valoarea deosebită a cunoașterii lui Isus Hristos, Domnul meu, datorită Căruia am suferit pierderea tuturor lucrurilor și datorită Căruia le consider gunoaie, pentru a-L căștiga pe Hristos (v.8),

Și pentru a fi găsit în El, nu având o dreptate a mea, care vine din Lege ci una care vine prin credința în Hristos: dreptatea care vine de la Dumnezeu prin credință (v.9):

Vreau să-L cunosc pe El și puterea învierii Lui și părtășia suferințelor Lui și să devin ca El în în moartea Lui (v.10).

Îl cunoașteți pe Isus? Cunoașteți puterea învierii Sale cu care Dumnezeu a lucrat atunci când El S-a ridicat din morți? Cunoașteți acea putere? Sau abia ați auzit de Isus?

Cunoașteți un Isus religios a cărui pictură sau statuie ați văzut-o în biserică--una care avea o coroană de spini pe cap--una anemică viermănoasă, slabă, palidă, o figură pe care ei o numesc Isus? Ei bine, prieteni, să citiți Evanghelia.

Citiți Isaia, capitolele 52 și 53. Citiți Psalmi 22, 88, și 89. Căutați să vedeți dacă puteți găsi paginile în care Isus arată ca în picturile din biserica voastră.

Apoi uitați-vă la Isus după ce a înviat în primele trei capitole ale Apocalipsei. Vedeți dacă Îl găsiți aici pe Isus cel religios descris în timp ce I se arăta lui Ioan. Arată El ca în picturile din biserica voastră?

V-ați face singuri o favoare dacă ați scăpa de acea imagine ridioclă a Sa. Acela nu este Hristos. Este produsul omului, creat pentru a face un profit.

Nu vă lăsați înșelați. Credința nu vine pentru că ascultați legea. Credința nu vine prin, “Să nu poftești”. Credința nu vine prin , “Să nu preacurvești.” Credința nu vine prin, “Să nu mărturisești strâmb împotriva aproapelui tău.” Credința nu vine prin, “Cinstește pe tatăl tău și pe mama ta”.

Credința vine crezând că Isus a murit, a fost îngropat și a înviat a treia zi, iar apoi S-a ridicat la ceruri. El stă acolo și astăzi și face mijlocire pentru voi.

Sunteți așezați acolo [în ceruri] în Hristos Isus (Efeseni 2:6), iar voi sunteți binecuvântați cu toate binecuvântările spirituale din locurile cerești (Efeseni 1:3). Să ascultați și să credeți acestea. În acest fel vine credința.

The Importance Of Faith That Comes By Hearing The Gospel, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 11

Faith is necessary to believe, or obey, the Word of God. How do you get faith?

Faith comes by believing the gospel. Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes by the Word of God. If you want to hear and believe God’s Word, you will have to hear the gospel.

Look at Romans 10:16:

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

The Word of God that you must hear is the gospel. However, not everyone believes the gospel. I want you to see that obeying the gospel and believing the gospel are the same.

Faith comes by believing the gospel. Faith does not come by having a positive confession of God’s Word. Just because you confess yourself righteous, forgiven, or prosperous does not make your confession come to pass.

If you believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day, you believe the gospel. If Jesus is Lord of your life, you will serve Him with your spirit in the gospel. If you believe the gospel, you will obey the gospel.

If you do not obey the gospel, you do not believe it. Let me emphasize that if you obey the gospel, you believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day!

Do you know what Paul says in Philippians 3:5 and 6? He says that he was a Pharisee and that touching the righteousness which is in the law, he was blameless. Then he says in verses 8-10:

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ (v.8),

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is God by faith (v.9):

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death (v.10)

Do you know Jesus? Do you know the power of His resurrection which God worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead? Do you know that power? Or have you merely heard of Jesus?

Do you just know some religious Jesus whose picture or statue you saw in your church--one that had a crown of thorns on His head--an anemic, wormy, weak, pale-looking thing in a picture that they called Jesus? Well, my friend, you need to read the gospel.

Read Isaiah, chapters 52 and 53. Read Psalms 22, 88, and 89. See if you can find on those pages the Jesus that looks like the picture hanging in your church.

Then look at the resurrected Jesus in the first three chapters of Revelation. See if you can find your religious Jesus described there as He revealed himself to the apostle John. Does that look like that picture hanging in your church?

You would do yourself a favor if you got rid of that ridiculous picture. It is not Christ. It is man’s product, made to sell for a profit.

Do not be deceived. Faith does not come by obeying the law. Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt not covet.” Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt not bear false witness.” Faith does not come by, “Thou shalt honor thy father and mother.”

Faith comes by believing that Jesus died, was buried, rose again on the third day, and that He ascended into heaven. He is seated there today, making intercession for you.

You are seated there [in heaven] in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6), and you are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3). Hear and believe that. That is the way faith comes.
