În această secțiune vom arunca o privire mai în profunzime la puterea lui Dumnezeu care este întotdeauna asociată cu evanghelia împărației. Consultați I Corinteni 4:18-20. Pavel spune în versetul 18:

Unii dintre voi s-au umflat de mândrie, ca și cum n-aș veni la voi.

Vreți să ghiciți ce înseamnă "a se umfla de mândrie"? Ar putea cuvintele "umflat de mândrie" să însemne "aroganță"?

Versetele 19 și 20 spun:

Însă, dacă Domnul va vrea, voi veni curând, și atunci voi vedea nu cuvintele, ci puterea celor ce s-au umflat de mândrie (v.19).

Căci împărăția lui Dumnezeu nu stă în cuvinte, ci în putere (v.20).

Pavel a spus că atunci când a venit, nu a știut predicatori care învățau numai cuvântul. Ei sunt umflați de mândrie. Mai bine spus, el a zis că îi va cunoaște pe cei care demonstrează puterea lui Dumnezeu.

Împărăția lui Dumnezeu nu este în cuvânt, ci în putere. Când Dumnezeu mi-a arătat aceste trei versete acum 14 ani, am putut să separ acei miniștri care sunt "umflați de mândrie" de acei miniștri care au demonstrat puterea lui Dumnezeu.

Marcu 1:14 spune:

După ce Ioan a fost închis, Isus a venit în Galileea, predicând evanghelia lui Dumnezeu.

Uitați-vă la acest verset și la cele din I Corinteni 4:18-20. Isus a venit în Galileea ca să publice evanghelia--moartea, îngroparea și învierea Lui. Ce a publicat El? El a publicat puterea lui Dumnezeu. Conform I Corinteni 4:18-20, orice ministru care nu demonstrează puterea lui Dumnezeu este "umflat de mândrie."

În Statele Unite ale Americii există predicatori care stau zi de zi și încearcă să justifice de ce nu se roagă pentru cei bolnavi și de ce nu demonstrează nicio putere. Ei spun, "Dumnezeu m-a chemat să fiu profesor." Cunosc și numele acestor miniștri. Nu o să vi le spun. Îi iubesc destul încât să subliniez I Corinteni 4:18-20.

Mai mult, mă rog ca Dumnezeu să îi conducă spre calea pocăinței. Dacă credeți că Dumnezeu v-a chemat ca să predicați Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu fără putere, vă înșelați. Satana v-a indus în eroare.

Când Dumnezeu a început să mă îndrume către a-I demonstra puterea, nu am vrut să fac asta. Nu am vrut să fiu asociat cu oamenii care alungă diavoli, vindecă bolnavi, și vorbesc în limbi. Nu mă deranja să merg la biserică cu oameni care vorbesc în limbi atâta timp cât ei știau că eu nu vorbesc. Totuși, Dumnezeu a vorbit prin mine următoarele: "Dacă mă iubești, vei tine la cuvintele mele."

În două rânduri, am auzit un om care este considerat unul dintre principalii evangheliști din Statele Unite ale Americii făcând următoarea declarație publică: "Eu nu sunt un novice. Pot număra pe cele cinci degete toate minunile pe care Dumnezeu le-a făcut în această slujire în toți anii mei." El a mai spus, "Dumnezeu nu crește picioare; Dumnezeu nu umple dinți; și Dumnezeu nu face alte minuni pe care îi aud că le descriu alți oameni."

Oamenii se adună cu miile pentru a-l asculta pe acel om care predică. Puteți să determinați singuri dacă el îl ascultă sau nu pe Dumnezeu. Am destul curaj ca să vă spun că o persoană care nu demonstrează puterea lui Dumnezeu pur și simplu nu urmează Duhul lui Dumnezeu. Nu mă interesează dacă mă criticați sau judecați. (Dacă asta credeți, eu spun că vă înșelați. Și așa vă spune și Isus.)

Isus a veni ca să publice evanghelia--moartea, îngroparea și învierea împărăție lui Dumnezeu--cu putere. Împărăția lui Dumnezeu nu stă în cuvânt, ci în putere. În Statele Unite ale Americi predicatorii spun, "Ei bine, cuvintele mele au putere. Am predicat Cuvântul și acum trebuie să merg. Dumnezeu Își va demonstra puterea când eu voi pleca." Acest lucru se întâmplă tot timpul.

Știți ceva? El Își va demonstra puterea. Îi mulțumesc lui Dumnezeu, El o va face. Dacă aveți un strop de credință și credeți Cuvântul, Dumnezeu va demonstra putere Lui pentru voi.

Am crescut ascultându-i și vizionându-i pe acești miniștri. Eu am primit fiecare lucru pe care am vrut să îl primesc de la Dumnezeu. Nu am primit aceste binecuvântări de la predicatori care își puneau mâna pe mine. Pur și simplu am luat Cuvântul și am început să cred în el.  Acesta este singurul motiv pentru care unii dintre noi am ieșit din mișcarea Carismatică cu un pic de credință și un pic de putere.

Acum, Dumnezeu spune, "Vreau să le arătați acestor oameni ce luptă ați dus pentru a ajunge acolo unde sunteți. Vreau să îi iubiți. Nu vreau să îi uitați. Nu vreau să ajungeți atât de mari încât să vă uitați rădăcinile."

Dacă fiecare creștin și-ar aminti de micul lor început, ar continua să facă și alți oameni creștini. Toți vor să fie cei mai mari. Asta e ceea ce toți credem. Când avem mulțimi mari, credem că Dumnezeu aprobă slujirea noastră.

Cum a aprobat Dumnezeu slujirea lui Isus? Vezi Fapte 2:22:

Bărbați israeliți, ascultați cuvintele acestea; pe Isus din Nazaret, bărbat adeverit de Dumnezeu înaintea voastră prin faptele puternice, minunile și semnele pe care Dumnezeu le-a făcut prin El în mijlocul vostru, după cum voi înșivă știți.

Uitați-vă mai atenți la ce se întâmplă în biserica la care mergeți. Este predicată evanghelia? Este demonstrată vreo putere? Verificați duhurile dacă sunt de la Dumnezeu sau nu (I Ioan 4:1).

Citiți Marcu 16:17 și 18. Semnele descrise în aceste versete vor urma predicarea evangheliei. Puterea lui Dumnezeu va fi demonstrată. Dacă puterea lui Dumnezeu nu apare în biserica voastră, întrebați-L pe Dumnezeu ce v-ar spune El să faceți. Dacă sunteți oile Lui, veți auzi glasul Lui.


HE ROSE AGAIN, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 6 THE GOSPEL WITH POWER


In this section we will take a more in-depth look at the power of God that is always associated with the gospel of the kingdom. Refer to I Corinthians 4:18-20. Paul says in verse 18:


Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.


Would you care to guess what "puffed up" means? Could the words "puffed up" mean "pride"?


Verses 19 and 20 say:


But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power (v.19).


For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power (v.20).


Paul said that when he came, he would not know the preachers that only taught the word. They are puffed up. Rather, he said that he would know those that demonstrated the power of God.


The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. When God showed me there three verses about 14 years ago, I could distinctly separate those ministers who were "puffed up" from those ministers who demonstrated the power of God.


Mark 1:14 says:


Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.


Look at this verse along with I Corinthians 4:18-20. Jesus came into Galilee publishing the gospel--His death, burial, and resurrection. What did He publish? He published the power of God. According to I Corinthians 4:18-20, any minister that does not demonstrate the power of God is "puffed up."


In the United States of America, there are preachers who stand up day after day and try to justify why they do not pray for the sick and why the demonstrate no power. They say, "God has called me as a teacher." I know these ministers by name. I will not mention them to you. I love them enough to point out I Corinthians 4:18-20.


Further, I pray that God will lead them to repent. If you think God has called you to teach the Word of God with no power, you are mightily deceived. Satan has misled you.


When God started leading me to demonstrate His power, I did not want to do so. I did not want to be associated with people who cast out devils, healed the sick, and spoke in tongues. I did not mind going to church with people who spoke in tongues as long as they did not know that I did. However, God spoke the following to me: "If you love me, you will keep my words."


On two occasions, I heard a man who is considered to be one of the leading evanghelists in the United States of America make the following public statement: "I am not a novice. I can count on five fingers all of the miracles that God has done in this ministry in all of my years." He also said, "God does not grow out legs; God does not fill teeth; and God does not do other miracles that I hear people describe."


People flock by the thousands to listen to that man preach. You can determine for yourself whether or not he is obeying God. I have enough courage to tell you that a person who is not demonstrating God's power is simply not following the Spirit of God. I am not concerned if you call me critical or judgmental. (If that is what you believe, I call you deceived. That is what Jesus calls you, too.)


Jesus came publishing the gospel--the death, burial, and resurrection of the kingdom of God--with power. The kingdom of God is not in word, but power. In the United States of America, preachers say, "Well, my words have power. I preached the Word and now I have to go. God will demonstrate His power as I am leaving." That happens all of the time.


Do you know something? He will demonstrate His power. Thank God, He will. If you have a drop of faith and can believe any of the Word, God will demonstrate His power for you.


I grew up listening to and watching these ministers. I got every bit of what I wanted to receive from God. I did not get my blessing by these preachers laying their hands on me, either. I simply took the Word and started believing it. That is the only reason some of us have emerged from the Charismatic movement with a little faith and a little power.


Now, God is saying, "I want you to show these people what a fight it was to get where you are. I want you to love them. I do not want you to forget them. I do not want you to get so large that you forget your roots."


If every Christian would remember his small beginning, he would continue to make people Christians. Everyone wants to be the biggest. That is all we think. When we have large crowds, we think God is approving our ministry.


How did God approve the ministry of Jesus? See Acts 2:22:


Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.


Take a close look at what is happening in the church you attend. Is the gospel being preached? Is there any power demonstrated? Try the spirits and see if they are of God (I John 4:1).


Read Mark 16:17 and 18. The signs described in those verses will follow the preaching of the gospel. The power of God will be demonstrated. If the power of God is not occurring in your church, ask God what He would have you do. You are His sheep, and you hear His voice.

Înainte, am discutat despre cum a venit Isus în Galileea predicând evanghelia împărăției. Evanghelia împărăției se află în putere. Vreu să vedeți că și evanghelia împărăției lui Dumnezeu este învățată cu autoritate.

Marcu 1:22 spune, "Oamenii erau uimiți de doctrina [învățătura Lui] căci El îi învăța cu unul care are autoritate, nu cum îi învățau cărturarii."  Cuvântul "autoritate" înseamnă privilegiu. "El îi învăța ca unul care are [privilegiu]."

Asupra a ce avea Isus autoritate? Ei, bine, laudă Domnului, mă bucur că ați întrebat. În Biblia voastră, localizați Luca 4Ș32-36. Aceste scripturi vă dau aceleași informații pe care le dă și Marcu 1:22. Totuși, ele au mai mult detaliu.

Luca 4:32 spune, "Oamenii se mirau de învățătura lui: întrucât cuvântul lui avea putere [autoritate]." Un om dintr-o sinagogă a avut un duh necurat, care striga către Isus cu glas tare, "Lasă-ne în pace;..." Duh știa cine a fost Isus.

Isus i-a poruncit diavolului să tacă și să iasă din acel om. Diavolul l-a aruncat pe om în mijlocul poporului și a ieșit din el fără a-i face vreun rău.

Uitați-vă la versetul 36. Vreau să vedeți asta:

Toți au fost cuprinși de uimire, și se întrebau unii pe alții, Ce înseamnă învățătura aceasta! El poruncește cu autoritate și cu putere duhurilor necurate, iar ele ies afară.

Isus a avut autoritate și putere! În versetul 36, cuvântul "autoritate" este cuvântul Grecesc, exousia, sau privilegiu. Cuvântul "putere" de aici este dunamis. Cu autoritate [privilegiu] și cu putere [abilitate], El le-a poruncit duhurilor necurate și ele au ieșit. Puteți face și voi asta? La slujbele voastre se exemplifică acest lucru? Sau doar predicați, "Acum că mi-am făcut partea, restul depinde de Isus?"

Permiteți-mi să vă spun acest lucru. Am ascultat predicatori din Statele Unite ale Americii spunând, "Acum că mi-am pus mâinile pe oameni, restul depinde de Dumnezeu. Mi-am predicat cuvânt. Acum depinde de Dumnezeu."

Acest lucru este incorect. Trebuie să îl ascultați pe Dumnezeu. Trebuie să vă lăsați conduși de Duh. Trebuie să predicați evanghelia împărăției lui Dumnezeu. Trebuie să transmiteți vești bune, vestea bucuriei, evanghelia. Evanghelia este moartea, îngroparea și învierea Domnului Isus Hristos. Evanghelia este autoritate și putere.

Un ultim cuvânt: dacă predicați altă evanghelie, nu vor apărea schimbări în viața oamenilor cărora le-ați predicat, și voi veți fi blestemați. Citiți Galateni 1:8 și 9:

Însă, chia dacă noi sau un înger din cer, vesti o altă evanghelia decât cea pe care v-am vestit-o, să fie blestemat (v.8).

Așa cum v-am spus înainte, vă spun din nou, Dacă cineva vă vestește o altă evanghelie decât cea pe care ați primit-o să fie blestemat (v.9)

Scripturile ar trebui să fie suficiente ca să facă pe oricine să creadă în Dumnezeu! Dacă credeți în Dumnezeu, îl veți asculta pe Dumnezeu, și veți predica evanghelia. Evanghelia va fi predicată cu autoritate și cu putere.

HE ROSE AGAIN, by Doyle Davidson, Chapter 5 THE GOSPEL WITH AUTHORITY

Previously, I discussed how Jesus came into Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom. The gospel of the kingdom is in power. I want you to see also that the gospel of the kingdom of God is taught with authority.

Mark 1:22 says,"And they were astonished at his doctrine [His teaching]: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes."  The word "authority" means privilege. "He taught them as one that had [privilege]."

Over what did Jesus have authority? Well, praise God, I am glad you asked. In your Bible, locate Luke 4:32-36. These scriptures give the same account that is given in Mark 1:22. However, they have more detail.

Luke 4:32 says, "And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power [authority]." A man in the synagogue had an unclean spirit, which cried out to Jesus with a loud voice, "Let us alone;..."  The spirit knew who Jesus was.

Jesus commanded the devil to hold his peace and come out of the man. The devil threw the man in the midst of the people and came out of him without doing him any harm.

Look at verse 36: I want you to see this:

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Jesus had authority and power! In verse 36, the word "authority" is the Greek word, exousia, or privlege. The word "power" here is dunamis. With authority [privilege] and with power [ability], He commanded the unclean spirits, and they came out. Can you do that? Does your ministry exemplify this? Or do you just preach, "Now I have done my part, it is up to Jesus?"

Let me tell you this. I have listened to preachers in the United States of America say, "Now I have laid hands on people, it is up to God. I have preached the word. Now it is up to God."

That is incorrect. You must obey God. You must be led by the Spirit. You must preach the gospel of the kingdom of God. You must publish the good news, the glad tidings, the gospel. The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. The gospel is authority and power.

One last word: if you peach another gospel, there will be now changes in the lives of the people to whom you preach, and you will be accursed. Read Galatians 1:8 and 9:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed (v.8).

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed (v.9).

These scriptures should be enough to make anyone believe God! If you believe God, you will obey God, and you will preach the gospel. The gospel will be preached with authority and with power.
